wa hay a good day[i think] i got two acid tabs off a french punk so,,,,,, woke up in fullham somewhere .great being young ,dont last long enough.gboa were a fucking great band ,love the acid house stuff.
Finsbury was wicked! But Leeds was `mindblowing`! One of the best!
I`ve still got my Crypt membership card...that was one amazing Friday night `experience`! done more `shrooms in the crypt, than any other venue I can think off ;-)
awesome! what a day! and yeah hawkwind had the best lasers, the bikers behind me complained cos i blocked their view with my huge hippy hat... bought my first copy of big bang comic... and i STILL HAVE THE T-SHIRT!!!
Acid Daze Man! Gaye Bykers at there best. A proper festival too........none of that bullshit phone tent stuff. Who done the original 'Call me a lier'?. That was one of my favourite tracks along with TV Cabbage. Thanks for uploading Robber.
God that was a top day. Had to leave to catch the tube during Hawkwind. I was a little 17 year old who became a bit of a Bykers fanatic after that, what a truly entertaining lot they were
Well that's a blast from the past! What a day that was. Superb. And yep I can remember some of it. And then Hawkwind came on with the green lasers!! That's when it all goes a bit fuzzy! Lemmy doing Silver Machine. Then a mad dash to get the train up north to Lancaster. You should have been there!! Check out Hawkfest!!
IS IT fINSBURY PARK???? FUCK FLASH BACK OR WHAT! GREAT DAY THOUGH! SMILEY MUSHROOMS AND FANCYING THE BIRDS FROM THE MEDICS BACKSTAGE. WHAT HAPPENED TO VOODOO CHILD
The record companies complain about not being able to sell records. I know what their problem is. They put millions behind promoting the likes of Micheal Jackson, whom I well *never* buy a record or CD of. If they would split their promo money up and just get bands like this a little airplay, I would buy more than one CD from them. If the radio stations would so a top 200 instead of a top 20, I might listen again.
Fook LOL window panes.... clear ones or red... :-)
Us too, got some good picks of us making paper airplanes (and fooking massive spliffs) and throwing 'em at Naz Nomad and the nightmares.. erm.. the planes that is.. we smoked the spliffs... :0)
We went to the one in leeds as well, just as nuts...
me too!got in with a dodgey back stage pass sticker for a fiver.then went and spent the night sleeping in leeds train station.ooh its grim up north!!!!
fuck me robber you lot and p.w.e.i all looking fresh and slim, i dont remember much of that day apart from dont do a bottle of red wine in less then 15 minutes as it goes right through you
@robberbyker I do...most of it...went up to London on my own to meet people. spent two hours in the queue and chatted, then had a brilliant time. my friend fell asleep all the way through Hawkwind and that was the only reason he went! effing brilliant day.
Damn, that was a cracking day!
