  • Hayabusa is The Master of The Ring

  • October 22, 2001 a sad day long live Ejii Ezaki (Hayabusa) one of my all time favourites the Phoenix will always fly. Hopefully 1 last match but no risks this time i'd pay to see him do a wrist lock

  • those ropes didnt look tight enough

  • great wrestler but why him he was good?

  • @TheJaycee00 you basically answerd your own question. Just look up some grate matches and jude for yourself of the epicness that is Hayabusa

  • My one dreams in life is to meet and get trained by hayabusa hes the greatest high flyer in the world i would love to see him in that ring one more time

  • how did he die

  • @dsmbucs he didn't die yet, he just got paraylyzed

  • he kinda reminds me of sabu just more atheletic

  • A legend

  • actuially i own just about every FMW video for years, he came to california did a exibition match i think was 1999 or 2000 to promote the videos i got the complete video where he was injured from japanese ppv a friend sent me is a shame what a talent could have been great over here.

  • youtube.com/watch?v=AiLN3xaJpJU

  • HI, we are -->F.L.O.W.<-- the indy wrestling org.#1 in PR

  • el mejor en su tierra natal ..........que viva hayabusa.....desde mexico

  • @Martin012392 es una leyenda que nadie va a olvidar

  • Hayabusa sei il migliore!

  • It's as if he died. He's still alive, that's what matters. :) He should have watched out.

  • great tribute about a great Wrestler.

  • True legend. Best of all time

  • loved the tribute i remembered i was at the arena when he broke his neck my kids had to wallk out cause they knew it was real, no again refs need to stop messing with the head once a wrestler is down cause they just mess with the injury.

  • Horrible song, meh wrestler

  • @DonCzer

    ^

    Meh Smark

  • @holyshitbmth

You're gay right? so you must like MMA

  • @michiyoyoshiku I don't like fights period

  • Well done on the gay musical choice. The guy is way too badass for this music.

  • =( my favorite wrestler hope u get better HAYABUSA omedetou means best wishes in japan

  • Hayabusa é noob

  • Awsome tibute man..I've got goosebumps.. great respect for a great wrestler

  • did he die??

  • @michaja94 No, he got paralyzed from a botched lionsault.

  • @Powercat316 paralyzed for all life?

  • @michaja94 Well he can walk again, but he still uses the wheelchair

  • i want his mask :D get well soon hayabusa

  • The best damn Junior wrestler to ever live.

  • After having someone comment on my comment.... LoL.... That's funny....

Anyway, the stuff that Hayabusa did still amazes me. They wont even let you TRY this stuff in the WWE. Seen anyone try a 450 lately besides Evan Bourne? Didn't think so.

People would've absolutely lost their minds if Hayabusa would've wrestled in the WWE and did stuff like this.

    Nothing compares to the Phoenix.

  • Great video i hope he is okay

What is the name of the song?

  • the best high flyer the world has ever seen

whats the name of the song?

  • legend.

  • 1st saw Hayabusa in the ecw PPV where he was agaisnt sabu and RVD. Fell in love with in skills as soon as I saw him. This guy is just incredible!

Oh and looking through the comments it makes me happy to see he's inspired alot of people.

  • The guy who got me into japanese junior wrestlers

  • Nice tribute, Hayabusa rules!

    but your music sucks!

  • I remember when I used to watch WWF and WCW only, a friend of mine came home with a tape of japanese wrestling like Big Japan, All Japan, etc... One of them was a tape full of Hayabusa matches, man, I fell in love with japanese wrestling from that day!

  • I meet him once in Tijuana, Mexico, he was training there mexican lucha style, we had some beers, a great humble guy, he was not famous then

  • I used to think no human being could fly til I found Hayabusa 12 years ago.

2:13 sometimes the stars falls =(

  • Where's the relevance between him going to WWE and his career still going? Do they have magic ropes? He simply slipped, no idea why he'd still have a career if he was there. Not as if the springboard moonsault is banned there.

  • an excellent video showing respect for one of the greatest wresters ever to step in the squared circle.

  • the most beautiful asai moonsaults ive ever seen

  • Awesome. What song is that>?

  • hayabusa = god of high flyers

  • Be happy he never went to WWE where he would be doing the same 4-5 moves everynight.

  • i love hayabusa but if he went to wwe he probably would still be wrestling today

  • Him going to another company wouldn't have meant anything. That same accident could have happened with a simple German suplex performed wrong. Hayabusa had an unfortunate accident and all anybody seems to think about is not whether he'll be able to live a normal life again. But about how WWE is some holy land that can safe a wrestler from anything. I'm not trying to be rude, but it's seems to me to be in bad taste.

  • Agreed in full. Hayabusa got hurt doing a move he'd done a thousand times - it was just a slip of the rope. It would have happened in WWE, WCW, FMW, NJPW, AJPW, BJPW or any other promotion. Simply because he would have never stopped doing those moves he became known for. He had a passion for entertaining that a WWE wrestler wouldn't know if it were right in front of them, oh, and a work ethic too. People need to worry about him and not what promotion it happened in. It's folded anyway.

  • hayabusa dam he could wrestle. i first saw him wrestle in ecw against rvd and sabu in a tag match. it was fucking heatwave 1999 or 1998 i thing it was 1998. it was a dam good match.

  • Damn, he`s a REALLY man

  • *wrestle (damn fucking typos)

  • He and Tajiri are my hero's. I'm not gonna be a poser and copy what they do. I'm gonna come up with something similar. I dont know what to restle for though (brand wise: TNA,WWE,etc.). Any suggestions?

  • TNA all the way

  • He's a beast.

  • im a wrestler in training i hope i might be as great as him :(

  • Hayabusa is regend wrestler!!

  • lol i think u meant legend.

  • Hayabusa was the best i hope he gets back in the ring

  • God his Injury is so sad, a Great Wrestler, didn't bloody deserve it.

  • i guess it was his time :(

  • Silly he's NOT dead lol He's just paralyzed and in a wheelchair now.

  • yeah he stood up in one scene did they save him? cause i watched another vid and it sayd permanently disabled.

  • It's tough to get solid information on Hayabusa these days. From what I've heard though, he's moved on to a career in music as a lead singer. I believe he's able to walk now with some assistance. And there are rumors that he might return to the ring at some point as he vowed. Granted, he'll never be able to do what he used to, but I think people would really appreciate just seeing him get in the ring and apply a headlock. This guy really was amazing and America will never even know.

  • Perfectly abled people couldn't do the shit he did in the ring :(

  • @Wyant1 America already knows my friend...America already knows. And won't forget.

  • @Wyant1 Those that watched the old ECW would of seen a glimpse of what Hayabusa could do. But these days mainstream WWE fans dont real appreciate real/true wrestling. WWE its all about the the Superstars and entertainment not the wrestling. :(

  • @KUNGLO true, you have to go on the internet to find good wrestling like ROH or NOAH

  • @KUNGLO

No, not it isn't not when they have Bryan Danielson

  • @Wyant1 MOST OF THESE COMMENTS TO THE TRIBUTE ARE IN ENGLISH ON YOU TUBE IN AMERICA 107,513 VIEWS AMERICA KNOWS MAN. TOKYOPOP.COM YOU CAN GET THAT FMW STUFF & HE'S ALSO GOT STUFF WITH ECW CHECK AROUND MAYBE YOU CAN POST THAT STUFF TOO. PEACE.

  • @kosbeuno 107,000 is nothing. Go look how many views the latest craptastic video of John Cena has gotten.

  • @Wyant1 Smh I Know Dude Sad...

  • @Wyant1: Mentioning John Cena and Hayabusa in the same sentence is like mentioning 'Apocalypse Now' and 'The Rugrats Movie' in the same sentence.

    Meaning, extremely fucking weird.

  • @TheEndKing Yeah no shit but i see what he was getting at tho.

  • @Wyant1 how can it be that he can only walk 3 years later he is a hero why aint he comeback

  • @warhim Uh... He broke his neck? In the grand scheme of things, necks rank pretty high up there alongside brains and hearts.

  • @sniffbud420 He's slowly been recovering since and can now walk.

  • is great

  • such a moving video

  • dammit he was such an entertaining wrestler. his move were sick, aerial style kicks ass !

  • I got a few FMW dvds. This guy against Mike Awesome, a thing of beauty. The only wrestler I've seen that never held a grudge against anyone, even the guy he would be in heated feuds with.

  • hehe :)

    i guess that's the japanese class ?

  • I guess it was just to give the kids a role model.

  • He's one of my all time favorites. Does anyone know if he has regained the ability to walk yet?

  • Hayabusa has been active in working with the Dragon Gate promotion. He did a duet album with Dragon Kid called "Trust!".That came out in November 2007. He partook in the company's first US tour, joining them in their appearance in Los Angeles on September 5.He also designed the tour's T-shirt.When asked about his career in an interview Hayabusa said that you never know what the chances are of a return to the ring. He is also making progress with his condition, now being able to walk.

  • ya i red it in wiki

    hope he comes back

  • HAyabusa is Awesome he is 1 of my all time fav wrestlers for JAPAN

  • The man was like poetry in motion

  • What kinda fuckin music is that to trubute Hayabusa

  • Lyrics are a bit tasteless hope just an oversight

  • wHAT?

  • brain

  • damn i feel like an ass... when i first saw it i laughed non stop but when i looked this guy up... fuk. i never thought it was that bad... fuck man... -_______-

  • Its a damn shame he got hurt,he had ridiculous talent

  • i heard hes walking now but sadly wont be able to wrestle for a long time if at all :(

  • i feel so sorry for him i teared up this is sad

  • What the fuck are you talking about? Rey sucks and can go fuck himself. He hasn't been good since he came to the damned WWE and I hate it when people compare much more talented people to him.

  • 涙が出ます・・・。

    ハヤブサさんっっっ

  • Whose the guy hes wrestling and the guy and Hayabusa hug each other ? good sportsmanship

    Phoenix/Hayabusa will Rise Again !

  • Comment removed

  • No, he broke his neck.

  • I kind of feel like crying like a little girl after seeing that. Awesome tribute. There was never any better.

  • the weird thing is that i feel like cryin after this while he's in there whoopin ppls asses lol.

  • Dude check 1:45! its like jeff hardy's whisper in the wind times 10! this guy was somethin special.

  • Jeff Hardy ripped off Sabu, the same guy whom everyone else ripped off.

  • CHECK YOUR FACTS:

Sabu debuted in the biz in 1985, Hayabusa in 1991.

  • Actually Hayabusa debuted in FMW in 91 he was wrestling with NJPW as a mid card before then for four years then for 5 years before then he was wrestling under the likes of Liger, Sasuke and even Toshimoto.

  • He was trained in the FMW Dojo and debuted in the business in 1991. 1 9 9 1. This argument is moot, we're arguing different points.

  • He was paralyzed from the neck down.. he now can walk, apparently.

  • with the use of a cane, apparently in another year or so he'll be able to walk without it.

  • Simply the best.

  • amazing wrestler

  • hayabusa please come back hayabusa 4 ever

  • i dont cry very often but this vid did it it was that moving Hayabusa was one of my favorite wrestlers and this vid did him justice thanks for this masterpiece man

  • great video too bad he doesn't wrestle anymore and too bad he never went to WWE cuz he did fight very shortly for ECW and he had great matches with RVD , SABU , even HBK (but in Japan)

  • really wish i was still wrestling. watching him and awsome and tanaka got me into japanese wrestling.

  • this is very well done video

  • hayabusa was truly the best jumper and will always remain in my heart even if I did not known before and I knew but too late now and I'm very sorry that I learned after he was no longer

  • very touching video

  • Very good my man.

  • good vid man

  • that s wrestling no the crap of the wwe

  • @darkfjavier that "crap" is better than you

  • does anyone know what he says in that speach were he stands for the crowd

  • this tribute beats all mine! great!

  • Chasing cars - snow patrol

  • who sings that song?

  • best tribute vid ive ever seen

  • Just because a song is sad doesn't make it emo. Its a TRIBUTE. (-_-) And what happened to him was sad. Theres a difference between sadness and emo.

  • is death or just paralised ??

  • just paralised

  • ok tanks

  • but is recovering really well and can actually walk a little not very well but a few years and he could be walking with few problems

  • cooool

  • was dat SABU on d left side at 3:07 ?

  • yes, one of the best matches from sabu, in their own words.

  • hayabusa was great. If he did not get injured and wud continue then he wud be talked of along the greats like the Great Muta. But i still see him along those legendary figures and no one wud change my mind.

  • nice video my friend i didnt know about hayabusa until i watched the match of rvd and sabu vs dreammer and hayabusa and i have seen that he is a exelent wrestler i hope he get well soon i would like so see him vs Rey Mysterio in TLC match

  • I love this tribute.I watched it once and loved it but didn't favourite it so I looked really hard for it and this time I was smart enough to favourite it:)

  • this makes me sad. :(

  • look up his match with sabu

awesome...dream match...hayabusa and sabu vs rey mysterio and psicosis
