Hi, thinking on getting the Orange Box but I'm not getting my new build until around 2 months from now...I have an AMD 3500+ (2.2ghz) with an old 6800gt and 1.5gb ram (DDR 400) and I can run Half Life 2 on 1680x1050 all in high with Anisotropic 8x, vertical sync on and 4x antiliasing and I get around 35-67fps...but I know the Orange Box version of the Source engine takes quite a lot more but I would like to know if it could be playable at all with this setup?

Disable vsync, hdr lighting and you will be okay.

I actually bought it last night and it runs surprisingly well with the 6800gt, I definitely get more than 30fps most of the time so it's great.
