I was wondering how to get input from the joystick onto my computer.
To be honest, we aren't really being educated on the topic at all in my robotics class and we don't really know what we are doing. If anyone could offer a couple pointers for getting an attack 3 controller's input onto the computer to be read and have phidgets API function calls made depending on the movements of the controller?
Do you have any more details around this project?

I have a 47cc engine, and a rc frame. How can i make the engine go without the throttle? I want to use a remote to make it into an rc car.

you can't hook that joystick straight to the stamp board, what you're seeing wire wise is the joystick hooked to a computer,
the wire running to the stamp board is the power so supply power to the board and the servos, there is not Battery in the image,
This is pretty cool.
