I am looking towards getting Stutter Edit for myself. Would I need a specific type of synthesizer for it or could I use any one as long as it has an MIDI input system on it? I got a new synthesizer that has a USB plug for this purpose - should it work then?

@NNITRED Yeah I have only used it twice I think since getting it, its good for small tweaks on specific sounds - then manually edit those into something better.

@canecreek00 the initial hype will eventually wear off, and people will want to start programming their own style into the thing rather than use the presets. I think it will be around for a long, long time.

@canecreek00 I agree. And even before this plugin came out the whole BT / stutter edit thing was a bit old. To have a whole plugin devoted to a studio technique that is on the downside is a bit odd. If people could use it in moderation then it would be fine but guys smear everything they have with it.

@canecreek00 The thing about that is that it's not like this plugin is dblue's "Glitch". This plugin has an absolutely ridiculous amount of customization available, and I think it's going to be VERY hard to overuse it to the point of becoming stale.
