  • 5d mk ii, 70-200 usm is II, 16-35, flashgun 430ex, laptop 15 inch.......for me, lowepro 350.

  • Good video. I like the look of this bag & the price is excellent. Just wondering if it might be too big to take onboard a flight with me? Would be cool because it could easily hold my camera kit, ipad & even some essentails for the long flight. Other candidates are the Kata DR-466i or the Kata 3n1-22, both of which cost quite a bit more than this.

  • probably a silly question but im just getting into photography. what do the uv filters do is it just to protect your lens from dust etc

    kind regards

    ps nice vid

  • @hikinguphigh

Well, down under the ozone layer there isnt really much UV to block out, so yeah keeping the expensive glass unscratched is pretty much the only purpose. The problem is that they can slightly unsharpen images in certain conditions so its best to get the Hoya pro ones if you want one...

Otherwise just put on the lens hood

  • could you fit like 3 cameras in.... 1 in the proper camera bit 2 in the flashgun/lens pocket and 3 in the top of the bag

  • @rhyskallen You could definitely fit one in the proper slot and one in the top. I'd say frame only in the lens pocket though.

  • Good video. Sounds like a non-USM for sure haha.

  • @91JDMZ32 Haha yea, def non-USM. Someday maybe :)

  • just re-insured what i want to get now..i wasn't indecisive between this or the kata sling bag...but this looks alot more useful.

  • Geoff, I've been looking at a new DSLR backpack style bag, and narrowed it down to this model, as well as the preferred 200EG by Canon. I don't have a full sized laptop, but I do want to carry around my 10" netbook. I know the Canon has a large front pocket that could probably fit the netbook, but I was wondering you preference between the two.

  • @iTalkTech Thanks for the great question! The Canon 200EG could definitely fit you're 10" netbooks no problem. They're honestly both amazing backpacks. I found the Canon to be much more organized while also being smaller and lower profile which = easier to move around with. However, this Lowepro definitely holds more, but is bigger and less organized. The Lowepro is now my full time backpack bc it holds my 15" MBP and Canon HD Camcorder as well as all of my various lenses and cables with ease.

  • @ultimo119 Thanks for the reply. I think I'll save a penny and go with the Canon considering I don't absolutely need a spot for a laptop. Thanks!

  • I am planning to get this bag soon as well, it looks amazing, everything a camera bag needs to be plus a great travel companion.

Great unboxing but I was wondering how you found it in day to day usage while you have had it.

I was also wondering if you noticed any decrease in image quality when using any of the UV filters, and how the tiffon compared to the canon.

I look forward to all future camera related videos

  • @dcbo89 I haven't noticed an decrease in quality. Sorry for the late response. I will definitely be doing some follow-up videos in the near future!

  • nice, im getting this bag soon!

  • Awesome! Let me know how you like it. It's now replaced my Canon 200EG.
