Dude, I work at Yokota. The Japanese can easily sit right outside the fence next to the flightline and do shit like this. We can't do anything about it. The land off-base isn't under our jurisdiction. Half the time, these guys take their planes up just so they can get flying hours logged. Every flight is a 'mission'. It just depends on how classified the mission is.

that was not a mission,it crashed during a air show practice, and it was due to the pilot pushing it to the limit. He never should have flown again and he was cited before this crash, and all they did was make a safety adviser fly with him from then on. He should have been stripped of flying you can not fly these planes the way he did. It would have prevented what happened, and the loss of all 4 and a million dollar plane.

B-52s were here at Bergstrom AFB in Austin Texas years back and they would fly right over our high school. Loud but beautiful.
