  • Stopcocks !! Really !!! Lol

  • Stopcocks !!! Really !! Lol

  • good Installing guide but on a bulding siet we have to do all the pipe work first and have the tails up ready then we put the rads on the wall

  • STOP COCKS sound like a lesbian nighclub

  • Plumbing isnt rocket science if you knew anything about plumbing you would see that she swapped an old style single panel rad, for a double convector radiator and the existing pipe work is clearly that close to the wall so do you a take up all the floor just to fit the pipe a bit straighter or do you bend it out a little bit somethin that no one other than a pedantic idiot would notice hmm lemm see and she seemed very knowledgable and professional

  • t off and notch the joists as usual... when you get to the rad do a 90 below the boards and then a single set.

single set the flow and ret pipes, assuming they come in from the right and just solder an elbow so they arent and that angle.

  • Hello there iw as just wondering how much it would cost on average for an installation like this one? and would i have to buy a specifil radiator off the person who is fittin it or would one i bought myself do? Thanks in advance, Tony

  • @boneriffik123 the radiator will cost you anything from 30 quid to 900 quid, and to fit it is about 120 quid labour

  • Good effort, just a bit if positive feedback though, you should of used benders on your copper pipe, doesn't look neat going at an angle. Btw Love the name stopcock plumbers.

  • i dont meen to critisize your work, but you have done it completly wrong, you are making things way too hard for amatures to understand, it doesnt matter which side you have a flow and return on with a combi boiler, all radiator valves sold today can be used either way flow/return can be connected to any valve, and the way you installed the pipe work holy shit if that was done in my house i wouldnt pay who ever did it, next time put the pipe work in straight makes the whole job look better!

  • @1990biggz LOL women plumbers HAHAHAA

  • @1990biggz My thoughts exactly, the pipes are way to close to the skirting board and at an angle. Should be straight in line with the connection on the rad, painting the skirting should be fun after the old paint has been melted into it.

  • Hi

What is the reason that the return pipe should be at the opposite side of the radiator... Are my radiators are installed the wrong way if both pipes are at the same side? Does this comes with a dropback in preformance?

Thx for the reply in advance.

  • @DoubleHeIix Thanks for watching. In some cases the valves are at one end. If one is at the top and one at the bottom it is usually ok but if both pipes go into one valve you could get problems. I personally don't like these valves because they are basically two valves squashed into one, which in my opinion can sometimes cause a drop in performance. They can get easily blocked causing cold spots on the radiator. Look out for another video coming soon about diagnosing radiator faults.

  • hey feritoul, and leelee8051

Thanks for watching. Every system is different. It's impossible to state everything in a 10min vid but keep watching coz I will be putting more up. Hopefully one of the systems will be similar to yours.

  • Thanks for uploading this, you are not saying what needs to be done after the installation, what do we have to do with the boiler and otther rads?

  • YAY! found out how to hang, but how to i find out how to install from my boiler?

  • Not a bad video showing how to hang a radiator, but let down by the awful angle of those pipes. Even you must see that it looks like terrible and lets the job down.

  • All that work with the level ,then pipes on the piss........shocking

  • C'mon now dear, that's not the way you fit a radiator!!

If you had served a Plumbing apprenticeship & not done some mickey mouse course, you'd know the right way to do things. How on earth you can teach anyone anything is a joke.
