  • yea he was my good friends baby sitter.. #swag

  • the speed burst on the kickoff coverage at :44 was world class speed

  • i just have to say....saine is the best back osu has but hes really prone to injury and he doesnt have the stamina like boom

theres no way id say boom is better tho...just look at the games boom was injured last year and how well saine played by himself

  • To become a faster sprinter check out sprinterfitness(.)us everything on this site is 100% free. Tips, workouts, videos and more...

  • brandon saine??more like brandon INsaine!!!

  • That kick coverage at (:45) is just sick - it was like the other guy was in slow mo

  • thats fine. I don't care if he can't change directions, he's a great compliment to boom in the backfield and with him and TP running the option, DAMN! But he is not starter.

  • he can chagnge derection do you know how fast eh is?!!?!?!?!!?

  • @buckeyeboyh5 he's way better than "boom", he plays more and has better stats. Heron might be a little more explosive but Saine is more productive. Both of them compliment each other.

    Go Bucks!!!

  • Saine only has better stats because of what he's used for. How many times do you see him take the ball up the middle? Rarely. Herron is used as our bruiser every down back cause he's denser and more durable (martin would be way better for that but hey, i'm not wearing the vest), so he doesn't have as good of stats. Stats can be very deceiving. But I don't think either would be productive without the other. Honestly, last year i think our best running back was terrelle pryor.

  • Thats way I love this years offense way more then the last couple of years where like 95% of the time Beanie got the ball. We have way more go to RB's now including Pryor. Really when you think about it Saine, Boom, Posey, Sanzenbacher and evrybody else are just there to compliment Pryor's amazing talent that he has yet to show complete.

  • hella fast

  • haha watch the nigga run. get em this year b

  • great straight line speed but no moves.. cant make a college LB,DB miss.. you are right , track guy

  • he should've stuck with track. he's no teddy ginn.

  • hate to say I agree with you.. cant change direction

  • there is always a place for a guy likr this on the field. Special teams, slot receiver, maybe some double reverses, fact is, kid is big and fast, but your all right, he doesnt have those quick littlemoves you need at rb

  • wtf are u talking about check out 2:35

  • first of all, please dont wtf me, ok? Second, I was saying he is a great athlete, has some really good moves, but he should be moved around a little, Tress does this well actually. Maybe I was being a little critical? Nice example. We have a LOT of great RBs, so I think the ball should be spread out next year. I even think Jermil Martin looked good

  • cant change direction? wtf are u talking about check out 2:35

  • Why isn't there any clips from when Saine played Ashland? Ohhh that's right..because he didn't do shit and got his ass shut down all game

  • but who still won state

  • Well for starters this is a video from his Jr. year not his Sr. year. Also in the Ashland game he still scored a TD which is more then the entire Ashland offense did!

  • Chris Wells

    Brandon Saine

    Jaamal Berry

    The Runningback U tradition continues

  • WTF did ne1 else see the kickoff at 40

  • yea he caught that gut from behind

  • that shows in'SAINE' football speed

  • jeez! the long run at 20 seconds, he looks like hes joggin

  • Brandon Saine & Lamaar Thomas = crazy speed.

  • his speed burst covering the kick at 40 seconds..is flat out retarded..they way he caught the returner..wtf..

  • dang LOL that really was crazy. super fast.

  • to clarify on the speed comments

brandon actually ran a 10.28 in HS

and was the 60m NATIONAL champion.

he just broke a 23 yrd TD in the Jersey scrimmage the other day for OSU....he'll be a much bigger part of the offense this season. WIth Saine and Lamaar Flash Thomas OSU will really turn on the afterburners this year on off...... and then, of course.... there's a guy named Beanie Wells.

  • Add Terelle Pryor to the list... Hmm...

  • Fuck you monkey minded nimbcumpoop, guy has no change of direction, Peyton Manning has more agility than this kid.

  • What are you basing the "no change of direction" comment on?

  • I hate OSU but he did his thing at the National Championship

  • looks like he'd be a great CB too

  • ya right at 220 or more he would get juked the fuck out

  • insain

  • r u searious? its highschool,

  • that's why he set the ohio state record in the 100md dash, his time was 2nd nationally, 10.31

  • slow?????????????????????

  • slow as dirt???? LOLOLOL. first off he's not going to play 4 more years second off, if he wasn't behind a potential heisman winning HB he would already be starting. third he is possibly the fastest guy on OSU. I dont know how fast Small is. anyway, that comment was just inSAINE

  • First off he is the fastest player on OSU. Second off his agility and quickness is terrible. His straight line speed is great but his lateral movement is worst than Todd Boeckman. 3rd the guy is not going to start cause Michael hall is going to be the starting RB in 09

  • Michael Hall? You mean Jordan right? and Saine has the experience over Hall. We all know Tress plays seniority.

  • Yea like Lydell ROss over Maurice Clarett.

  • Yea like Boeckman over Pryor.

  • thank you. at least one person agrees that his hips are like fucking rocks. he needs to take some salsa lessons

  • Saine does NOT have anything close to Sanders' elusiveness. He's a north/south runner for the most part. That's something he'll learn to work on.

  • He can catch passes, and I'm sure he's still in the learning/improving stages of blocking. Bo Jackson was a lot bigger than Saine is, though. He has a LONG way to go until he is even compared to Bo Jackson.

  • Saine is at least 6'0" and 220 lbs. with room to grow. How big was Jackson? I was thinking around 230 lbs.

  • I just checked, and Saine is 6'1" and 220lbs. I saw him run at the state track meet, and he looked 5'10"ish. So, I stand corrected. If he ends up being like Bo Jackson, then I'll be a happy Buckeye fan!

  • He had a great game today. Over 60 yards rushing and receiving. I wouldn't mind a Bo Jackson on our team. :D

  • shut that Chit up, florida speed is a myth. Everybody has speed even in Alaska.

  • It's so odd watching him because he doesn't "look" that fast or like he's running hard yet he's blowing by people. He's got a rare combination of size, power, and speed. He had a great game against Washington on Saturday.

  • I'll never get a chance to put a highlight reel on youtube, unless its from freshman JV or 8th grade, i've broken the same ankle twice in 2 seasons, o well at least i have some great guys to look up to huh

  • Just saw the preview to "Perfect Effort" about De La Salle's 12 year winning streak. It looks like a pretty inspirational movie. Search for it on youtube or it's website perfecteffort (dot) com

  • I saw a special on ESPN a few years ago. It's some pretty cool stuff.

  • Cincinnati put an end to Independence (NC)'s 109-game winning streak (national record for public school) tonight by 3 points in OT. Wow! Way to go, Elder!

  • dang.... hope he lives up to his hype..... be nice to flex him in with both wells... or use him in open spaces/screens take pressure of our undeveloped QB's .... only concern for this season is the QB and WR positions.... robiskie showed sparks of his fire last season....Ray small could be the other starter.... lets hope Antonio Henton young and undeveloped steps up this year if not forsure next year to keep them big ten Defenses quessing with the pass or run.....

  • oh my bad im a browns fan to ;)

  • I don't know about you guys but watching this is getting me charged for the upcoming Ohio St. season. I hope Saine is as good as advertised. GO BUCKS!!!!!

  • can anyone say boogity boogity?

Saine at 6' 210 10.27 4.3 should either push Wells for time or be inserted as yet another unknown talented reciever. Just another reason why the Buckeyes are underrated this preseason. OSU's o-line looks stellar! To give the O a boost in the arm....Small and Saine WILL see the ball early and often...

  • I hope this dude plays receiver cause other than terry robiske and brian hartline who else do we have?

  • Ray Small, Dane Sanzenbacher, Taurian Washington, Devon Lyons.

  • he is a fucking beast

  • Hey guys, fellow bucks fan here. What do you guys think about trying Saine out at WR while he's a freshman? We are a little thin at the position, and we already have Beanie and Mo wells at RB. I think he could help us out more at WR, at least for the 2007 season

  • Yes, early word on the street (and has been for a few months) is that Saine will start out as a slot back similar to what Gonzo was. I'm sure they'll move Saine around a lot more than Gonzo, but it's hard to NOT have Saine's speed on the field.

  • yes, there is a difference between football speed and track speed, but wow, Saine has it all. Speed, agility, power... wow

  • I dont play football for school, I'm a striker on the soccer team, and I'm an indoor and outdoor sprinter, I've anchored the 4x1 4x2 and 4x4 relays since my junior year.

and speaking from experience, that kid cant just right "lightning" on his next work resume.

    Past Work Experience: Lightning

  • ill admit running with 10lbs of pads is different than running with 6oz shoes and an even lighter speedsuit. so yes in a way track speed and football speed are different. albeit not much.

  • holy crap, way too many things to drool over!

  • wow that play when he was on kickoff coverage...i have never seen anything like that. Saine caught up with him like that kid was running backwards

  • nope...faster....100m in 10.4

    GINN 100M IN 10.5

  • he not even close to ted speed dumb ass

  • look up the numbers.. they speak for themselves. yuou should hire someone to speak for you...since your speech and or writing comes outta your ass....blow me....peace

  • there a difference between football speed and track speed dumb ass

  • you run in track and you run in footaball...sounds the same to me besides i have seen both play live and brandon even looks faster on the field....he will prove it next year....be patient ass mouth it will all be revealed on the field

  • what the hell is an ass mouth dick wipe

  • Speed is speed, right? How is there difference? Either your fast or your not.

  • Exactly...

  • B-Saine is inSAINE!

    GO PIQUA!**

  • No matter if he is or isn't faster than Ginn on the track, Saine still had the best 100M, 200M, and 400M times in DI last year as a Junior. Oh, he's a multi-repeating champion in the 100M and 400M, too! Can't wait to see him play on Saturdays along with Chris Wells in a few years. That is one heckuva backfield!

  • I hear they plan to use Saine as a WR (slot) with Wells and highly-touted FB Olson in the backfield. Either way, the Bucks offense should be near the top for years to come.
