Where did you get these poll numbers from, because they are totally wrong?! According to the latest Rasmussen poll, support for Obama's health care plan is at an all-time low of only 41%. Believe me, if your numbers were anything near correct, that public option wouldn't have been defeated in the Senate Committee by an 8-15 vote. Not even moderate Democrats want this disastrous public option!

CNN just did a story about the six or so Democrats that voted against the reform bill and found out that they have receiver millions from HC insurance lobbyist. I agree that we need health care reform and I believe that many of the GOP's ideas could bring about positive changes to our health care system. The public option is definitely not the answer, however. If Democrats would scrap the current plan and work with Republicans, a plan could be created that would improve the system and therefore benefit everyone.
I never heard of the poll you quoted. Rasmussen has the reputation of being one of the most accurate and reliable polls.

What's the point in communicating with you if you just going to ignore everything I say? First of all the number of the uninsured you quoted is wrong. The number is probably about 26 million. And Republicans have a plan for these people to have access to quality, low cost health care. Why do you keep saying they don't have a plan, when they do? Simple it is NOT an issue. Less than 20 million Americans are out of insurance, many by choice (I didn't have insurance 20 years ago). Many are eligible but don't sign up.
It is unconstitutional for the government to be involved in healthcare or insurance.

The american people want a health insurance plan like the one Boehner has: Blue Cross/Blue Shield at a hugh government discount with a yearly option to select from more then 25 other plans if not satified. Yes, what congress has is a private choice plan. What 42 million Americans have is no health insurance, either been priced out or dropped due to pre-existing medical conditions. Millions have only one choice because they live in one of several states that is monopolized by one Health Insurance Co. For others the cost keeps going up, it matters not which plan for the cost is fixed. A Public Option Plan is a choice & weapon against the Health Ins Co. for the misery coursed by their greed.

Believe me, if your numbers were anything near correct, that public option wouldn't have been defeated in the Senate Committee by an 8-15 vote. CNN just did a story about the six or so Democrats that voted against the reform bill and found out that they have receiver millions from HC insurance lobbyist. I agree that we need health care reform and I believe that many of the GOP's ideas could bring about positive changes to our health care system. The public option is definitely not the answer, however. If Democrats would scrap the current plan and work with Republicans, a plan could be created that would improve the system and therefore benefit everyone.

Some of the GOP's better solutions to health care reform include: tort reform, being able to buy health insurance across state lines, using the same basic medical forms across the board and ridding the medical system of massive fraud, waste and abuse. They have a plan to give the uninsured access to affordable health care. Go to the GOP websites for more information.
If Rep. Boehner ever has a credible Democrat opponent, I'm sure he would debate them. Most of the hate I see is from liberals!

The repukes had eight years of total control and they never even brought up the issue of health care. Now you tell me the answer is going across state lines, use the same form, and tort reform? Are you serious? Annual jury awards and legal settlements involving doctors amounts to a drop in the bucket in a country that spends $2.3 trillion annually on health care, estimated the cost of jury awards at about $12per person in the U.S. about $3.6billion.

First of all it was six years that the Republicans had control and they did try to make changes in the medicare system but Democrats went nuts and stopped them! The GOP's health care solutions would save $100s of billions as opposed to the Democrats plan that would cost about $1.6 trillion. You just don't have the facts. And it is Democrats who stand to make millions if govt.-run health care passes!

Republicans had control of congress for 12y and bush for 8. The prescription drug program was written by the drug companies its a waste of money for the little good it does. Medicare isnt the problem anyway it is private heath insurance. Don't change the subject. Democrats will not profit from a government option either thats ridiculous. Leader Boehner holds a press briefing almost every Thursday when the Congress is in session. In addition, he is part of a GOP Conference press briefing on Wednesdays and often has many other press briefings. He also does many interviews on radio and TV and all of the questions are "unfiltered," he doesn't know what questions reporters are going to ask him.

So you were not concerned as bush took the debt from 5T to 13T and surpluses to deficits to enrich oil companies and the rich, but now that you have emerged from your coma your big concern is an economic stimulus of 770B that was used to avoid another republican led depression. Im sure that makes sense to you, but it doesnt float. By the way a lot of that money has been paid back and there is a lot more to come.

Speaking of reading bills--yesterday, the Senate voted on a motion to post the entire healthcare bill online, such that ALL Americans could read it, and make up their own minds.
ALL the Senate Democrats, save one-Senator Blanche Lincoln, VOTED AGAINST allowing the public to read the bill.
Where is the "TRANSPARENCY" that The Great Charlatan promised?

Did you know that Senators would be exempt from being forced onto the new HR3200 health care laws?
Did you know that an amendment was voted on to ensure that Senators (and Congress) would be required to be on the same health care that everyone else would be per the HR3200 bill, and it was voted DOWN on party lines by the Democrats?
