To be honest when it moved up North the story lines went rubbish. I guess the other reason was cause i'm from the area they useto film it in i enjoyed seeing places i've been to.

Plus it had always been Byker Grove up North and Grange hill down South it's just the way it was for a long time, and how i remember it. Probbibly grew out of watching it anyway. (was 17 ish when this was around)

the whole point of Grange hill was that it related to children and the problems of growing up, and issues that they face and deal with every day. this is Utter Crap, BBC said how kids dont have the problems they used to, so thats why we got highest Teen pregnancy in Europe, they drink more and take more drugs than a decade ago, and kids are getting murdered practically every day. yea Kids these days have no problems whatsoever,,, i Hope there is a new show for teens free from PCBBC clutches.
