i was going to do that u kno with power supply but its looks easy i could do it but its just most people say it get hot melts and im very jumpy with that sorta thing so i stick with using a home hifi 300w rms and a hifi low pass filter on ebay which work fine very loud for only 300w

@aa2398a you buy a computer power supply. They're 12v output and plug right into the wall. Yellow wire is 12v and black is ground. Thats what he is using. If you go on ebay and type in "12v power supply" there are actual boxes that have postive and negitive prongs that you hook things to to connect amps in your room. Hope that helps.

@aa2398a you connect your amp to the psu! the ground should be from some metal rod outside unless your sure that the outlet is well grounded. then hook up subs, set amp to lpf.(low pass filter) and thinker to your liking. now you need your source which can be your home a/v receiver or a car stereo. thats the whole point of your subs having they own dedicated power once that is out of the way the rest is cake!

@keepNitloud yes that would work. wire them in parallel. when wired in parallel there amps are combined, when wired in series the voltages are combined.

yes you will because all you are doing is using the ac to dc conversion of the pc power supply... so rly all you are doing is using the pc psu as the car battery... but the benefit of doing this is that you dont have to do any odd conversions because of the car using around 40 percent of the battery's main power.
