  • He needs a girlfriend.

  • KICK IT ON

  • someone bite his head

  • makes me want to play purple rain

  • haha he said "nobs" :/

  • Play something new!!!!

  • Did it not even occur to you to tune the guitar first?

  • @donepearce

    the guitar is tuned

    learn 2 hear notes

if we have to believe every stupid comenter

every music shop demonstration video would have untuned guitars.

  • @alexAENESIDEManders No, the guitar is not tuned. Your ability to tune clearly matches your ability to spell.

  • @donepearce

    i'm not english

so don't bother with stupid comments about my spelling.

even if i WOULD really tune bad, which isn't the case since i have a good musical ear

it's just stupid to say that a guitar shop won't tune their guitars before doing a demo.

just fuck off with your stupid comments. and learn to tune your guitar yourself

  • Luv the amp!! <3

  • I could go for some "wet signal" right now.

  • I still have no idea what the hell a chorus pedal does. I've experimented with mine for forever and a day, and I can't for the life of me make any use of it.

I am also in disbelief that Schecter, makers of the greatest guitars out there, would allow this talentless idiot to buy a one of their fine instruments.

  • @icos211 listen to the song "come as you are" by nirvana. the music video fits well with the chorus pedal. (if you look it up, you'll know what i mean) it makes the guitar sound like its underwater.

  • @icos211 listen to is this love by Whitesnake, the main chords use a chorus pedal.

  • "I got all my knobs here"

"Push it real hard you can get silly with it"

Is it just me or is this some sick guitar porn in diguise?

  • It's me or this guy only knows D and G with clean tone

  • useless -.-"

  • Great explanation but i hope much longer demonstration

  • They seriously should fire this guy

  • i bourt this pedal for £75 and it's shit, makes a slight difference but absoloute shit i recommend a distortion or wah pedal they're much more significant and better.

  • @MadJack122 this pedal is for clean sound! I want to say I am using for clean sound! so I don't know why do u need THIS pedal for DS

  • @GuitarGuy467 well im just pissed off cos i bourt this for £89 and it sucked, a crappy sound only for clean which makes the guitar sound all spasticated, swapped it for a flanger, much better.

  • that's the pedal the Jerry Cantrell from Alice In Chains uses

  • The only band I can ever see this guy playing is in the one that records the funky bass parts for Seinfeld.

  • Wow he put me off getting this pedal

  • Had my CE-2 for 30 years now near enough and it's the mutts nuts. 2 knobs is more than enough....4 knobs is just porn. The CS-1 and the DD-3 are also good old boys. Love my RP2000 though...

  • Again the same fucking licks?! : @

  • SPENCERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR

  • HAHA JASON SPENCER?

  • he has the same glasses, like the guy from Brothers in Arms..

  • JASON !

  • Πο... ρε με το μαλακα δν μπορει να δουλεψει ουτε ενα chorus δν το πιστευω!!!!!!!!

  • I do not get the part why to put there a maths teacher.

  • I hate James Spancer!!!!!!!!!

  • that really was silly wasnt it

  • I like this pedal and the chorus ensamble

  • I just took a shit. It still sounded better than this guy's playing.

  • I had this pedal and never liked it at all.

  • good pedal...bad demo :/

  • quanto mi sta sul cazzo quando dice " twelve o'clock" ....

  • quanto mi sta sul cazzo quando dice " twelve o'clock" ....

  • sounds all the same

  • what a pile of wank

  • I fell asleep

  • i think this guy does the voice for kermit the frog

  • hi, can i use this pedal for electric pianos and synths?

  • borrrrrring

  • lol i laughed so hard when i saw this comment. F*&king awesome.

  • "Get silly with it".... arrrrghhhhh.... ARRGGHH......

  • Is the boss ce-5 better than this one?

  • "let me show you how it sounds with out the pedal" (plays for 20 minutes)

  • how can you dislike the fact that he plays the same thing in most reviews? that makes comparisson sooooo much easier. I think the reviews are quite helpful

  • how is he playing at 1:34 with only 1 hand?

  • he was just arpeggiating up and down the open strings

  • This Pedal is Great with the wah. Sounds really great

  • OMG I HATE THIS GUY!

  • I hate this guy xD

  • @sdfhgk85 inproper language, you don`t like him, ok, but hate ???? terrorists hate

  • @sdfhgk85 i hate you :)

  • This idiot plays the same thing in every friggin review

  • hahaha

  • @jofussdean I kno man!!

  • Comment removed

  • duuude you talk tooo much you should explain after you show us the sound of the pedal and let the pedal do its work of quiality sound first then explain -_-

  • this guy has the most painful accent that i ever head

  • check out my demo of the small clone chorus, its a bit different to this one.

  • what aare you plaing and can i have the tagbs

  • i need help with buying pedals. I dont know what to buy. I play anything like van halen, iron maiden, metallica, megadeth, stuff like that. Can anyone tell what pedals would be best to use if thats the type of music i like to play?

  • Fuzztones, compressors and perhaps echo/ digital-delay pedals. Anything really offering distortion, the rest can be done tonally by turning the gain on your amp up, removing any noise gates and stuff like that.

  • Boss DS-1 is a good distortion pedal for the stuff you play, or maybe a Boss Metal-Core.

  • metal distortion, overdrive, a chorus if youre doing ballads.

  • he looks like an egg

  • PIOR apresentação de um Boss que eu vi na minha vida, imagine um cara desse com um "metal zone" fica 1 dia intero soh pra ver as frequencias

  • i think it's the only modulation effect that every guitar player has to buy, flanger and phaser are inutile.

this demonstration doesn't give it justice, if you are interested, go in a music shop and try.

i have one and it changes the sound, creates an atmosphere. bye

  • What are his amp settings? I love his clean tone!

  • @Zevonfan524 Yeah Man , What's your amp ?

  • Bugera 1990

  • Whar are his amp settings?

  • why would you pay £70 to get this effect..??? it barely changes the sound

  • i don't know what happened in this video. i've tried this pedal and it wasn't that subtle an effect. but looked like he had it all the way up in this video

  • Because it does change the sound. I bet you're new to guitar effects.

  • @bigun1999999 I have a cheap 40 dollar fender chorus pedal that sounds better than this, this thing barely changes a damn thing

  • ITS THE VIDEO BELIEVE ME

  • look at all the haters racking up clicks on this video-----a video demo of a boss pedal. Capital L. 's'all I'm gonna say.

  • first 3 chords of "A day in the life" he played.

  • que caritas que pone cuando toca

  • nice sounding

  • ▲

  • By the way Jason, if it's a stereo pedal, why don't you hook up a second amp to show people the cool stereo effect? I run with two amps all the time just bewcause of what the second amp adds to a stereo pedal. For home use I have a Fender Pro Jr. and a Fender Blues Jr. Beautiful tone.

  • Well, I beg to differ; I have the CH1, and I also have an EHX Stereo Electric Mistress. Now I love my Boss pedals, but I have to be honest here, Analog Chorus is warmer, and provides more shimmer than Digital Chorus. Plus The Electric Mistress is also a combination Flanger Pedal. I rest my case. But I do use both Chorus pedals in series; Sweeeet!

  • whats the difference between CH-1 and the CE-5 chorus pedals? im kinda stuck on which one to get, and none of the videos of them tell the difference between the two, if there is one..so im kinda lost on which one to purchase... help

  • i think this guy cannot set-up this pedal..

    how terrible...

  • Stereo outs ~3:00 "If you use it with 2 amps, half the sweep will go to one amp, the other half to the other." The CH-1 & CE-5 don't work like that. One output will give your original guitar signal and the other will give you just the wet chorus effect ( a slightly delayed signal that changes in pitch). It's essentially a vibrato output. The Boss CE-3 had a switch that let you choose either wet/dry or both wet out of phase outputs. I think the Arion SCH-1 will give you that choice, too.

  • Re: the Level control ~1:15 "When you turn it up, you get nothing but wet signal". Not true, you always get the original dry guitar signal through the pedal. The level control gives you less or more of the chorus signal mixed in. The DLS Chorus/Vib has a Blend control that does what he describes here, but the Boss pedals don't.

  • Hmmmm..... I got the line 6 space chorus a bit more expensive but worth it. The Boss ones give a more subtle effect.

  • at 1:30 it sounds like the beginning of nothing else matters

  • Boss Is Fuckin MAD

  • BOSS IS KING

    SCREW HATERS!!!!

  • I like this better than the CE-5

  • electro harmonix kicks the shit out of any boss pedal

  • HAHAHA boss kicks the shit out of ehx!

    you are such a newb;)

  • im talkin modern boss. their vintage pedals are some of the best. but their newer pedals are terrible in my opinion

  • are u fucking serious?? EHX is so much better than the crappy fake sounding Boss pedals.

  • Failed Grammar and failed insulting. Do you even own any pedals? I guess not.

So stfu and stop posting comments. Ignorant idiot.

  • boss pedals are one of the most successful effect pedal companys in the world. how would their pedals suck?

  • cus they are really cheap and well branded so that everyone who starts out on guitar, or just needs cheap pedal that will kind of do the trick, then they will buy a boss pedal...its only when ur an experienced guitarist that u realise their sound sucks and u need to upgrade

  • Everybody hates you on youtube. Just look at your comments on your page. I Dont want to waste my time arguing with a looser like you, dont bother writing back.

    Go KILL yourself. ] assfuck.

  • haha, gonna whack ur sad 'grammar' insult back at u, "looser" lol...ur a fucking loser and all those people commenting are idiots who realised that they had no defence to when i made them realise they (like you) take themselves WAY to fucking seriously...calm down u pedofilic asian retard

  • Im not even asian you stupid piece of shit. I already said i dont want to waste my time with a idiot like you. go fuck off and get a life.jeeez

  • Whats your problem?

  • The small clone is the best. Electro Harmonix kicks the shit out of Boss when it comes to chorus pedals.

  • are you sure its turned on? too subtle not enough depth, bad review

  • try this

    Digitech CF-7 Chorus Factory

one of a chorus pedal .

it does alot of things .

you can go wild with it , twist and turn the level it may sound somethings you never thought could make .

    superrrrbbb

  • this definitely not worth the money. save up an extra 60-80 bucks, and buy the CE-20. it's worth the money...u pay a little extra for something tht's 30x times better than this mild crap. with this alone, you'll never get a "Police" "Rush" or "Nirvana" sound

  • can this be played loudly through a Mesa Single Rectifier effects loop along with Delay, Reverb, Flanger, and Wah? Thanks a bunch for an answer. It would really help.

  • do you think a small clone is better?

  • It depends on what type of chorus you want. This one is going to give you more parameters to mess with and shape your tone with but the Small Clone sounds really great. All you get on it is a rate knob and 2 depth settings though. Personally...between these 2 I would get a Small Clone...I have a Visual Sound V2 H2O pedal, but what I really want is a Boss CE-2.

  • i do have a small clone and i feel like a copy cat

  • Well lots of people use it for a reason. It's a good pedal. "It's already got the sweet spot dialed in you just decide how much you want." I saw that in a review of it and it seems true. The Small Clone gives you a pretty watery chorus, boss Chorus' usually tend to have alot more highs and a little more treble heavy. My H20 is pretty lush so I want a CE-2 so I can get a more subtle chorus like John Frusciante uses on Blood Sugar Sex Magik.

  • i have a question for anyone nice enough to answer: i have a boss ds 1 distortion, a dunlop crybaby wah, a boss ch 1 super chorus, an arion delay, a boss ac 3 acoustic simulator, a boss ns 2 noise suppressor, and a boss ps 5 super shifter. what order should i put these on my pedal board to get the best sound????

  • Wah>Distortion>Modulation Effects>Time based effects>noise suppressor. I'm not sure where the acoustic simulator goes, and I'm not 100% the noise suppressor goes there.

  • It's really up to you... I have mine set up Compressor -> Wah -> Delay -> Vibrato -> EQ -> Metal Distortion (L6 Uber Metal) -> Crunch Distortion (DS-1)

But random69shit is right as far as the usual set up. I would put the noise suppressor probably directly post distortion/eq or right at the end, and the accoustic simulator somewhere before your modulation and time based.

Honestly though, the best way to do it is to expierement ;)

    Hope that helps some.

  • how do you like the ch-1?

  • i like it. it does what i need it to do. i used to have a boss ce-5, but i think i like this one better, the effect is a little more prominent, if that makes sense. if youre debating between the ch-1 and the ce-5, id go with the ch 1. if youre debating between the ch 1 and some other chorus pedal, i cant really help you..... lol

  • well i have an eh small clone but i just feel like such a copy cat, but from what i've seen im gonna try to trade my small clone for the ch-1

  • Im debating on whether getting a boss ch1 or a ibanez cs9. Ive heard great things about both. What are your pros and cons on these?

  • well i know more about the ch1 than the cs9, but i would say go with the ch1. its less expensive, and from what ive heard, the cs9 isnt any better sounding. plus, the ch1 has more knobs and features than the cs9

  • quote 2:50- "it's pretty easy to get lost with all that drive"

no kidding, i can barely hear the chorus when ur playing cleans!

    this demo freakin sucks!

  • fade to black would work with this pedal

  • super chorus or chorus ensemble?

  • I have a wah pedal, dun really think this is really useful

  • it's perfect for playing "come as you are by nirvana..

  • and of course teen spirit solo guitar ^^

  • I got the Electro Harmonix Small Clone, but I was originally going to buy this. It sounds great.

LOL: Turn the volume up and listen to him on 2:20 onwards

  • what happens at 2;20 onwards

  • aaaaaaah let see here!:P

  • am i the only one who cant hear the difference that this pedal does?

  • there's nearly no difference, you just hear a kinda wah sound after the note ringing. I wouldn't buy it for 100 bucks =(

  • the sound it makes it like 2 guitars, one of them a little out of tune

  • i agree, very useless demo

  • yeah, let put every nob at 12 o'clock so you won't hear what potential it has..

  • hahahaha i second that

  • I'll buy BOSS. Made in Taiwan, not communist China (ModTone).

  • CE-5 or CH-1 :S:S:S:S:S: help me

  • i'm in the same boat, i think price is going to be the deciding factor for me

  • well before i blew my ch-1 up. i can tell you now its a soft pedal, giving you them warm tones you want. i certianly enjoyed it, Oh and ur btw... dont put 12v adap's in your pedals. It smells funny

  • smells burnt or what?

  • Same for me. From this video and the CE-5 one, I'd go the CE-5.

  • i dont like his playing

  • pro guitar shop demos are way better.

  • These reviews stink! This guy probably puts more effort into to eating a hamburger than this demo!

  • wow lmao

  • What's up with all the hate towards this guy? At least he has the respect to help people NOT waste their money on something they don't like.

Anyway, is this better than the CE-5?

  • The EQ control on the CH-1 will do cut and boost, so it will get brighter than the CE-5 (CE-5 is cut only). The CE-5 has a bass cut as well as high cut. The CE-5 will go faster - to the low end of Leslie sim speeds. The chorus sounds are very similar. BTW, both pedals were originally anaolg. They changed in October of 2001. The serial number will tell you whether it's analog or digital.

  • Can i use this pedal on my amps dist channel?

  • I do...

  • why doesnt he use a loop and then turn the knobs so that we can hear the differences of the sound?

i think thats the easyest way...

  • These pedals are so expensive! I like the DS1 distortion because it's reasonably priced compared to most BOSS pedals. They are probably worth the money, but still...

  • I hate this guy. In every video I see him in, all he plays in G-D-Dsus4-C

  • He threw an Em and an F#m in there!

  • so true... these reviews suck. its all about pro guitar shop . com

  • i know hes like well this thing is made by boss. we have alot of boss pedals. its got knobs, metal things and more knobs. let me show you the pedal by playing the same riff i always use in every video Oh, time to go... we have alot of pedals.

  • Marshall amps suck

  • because your hammett gay-lover is using randall atm? retard

  • No asshole, Mesa boogie is the best. No need of pedals
