@xrayfishx The deformation was done by setting the "pressure" value to a lower value in the Bullet engine within Carrara. Sorry I don't know how this would translate to a game engine.
@PhilW222 Sorry I just realized that I made a huge mistake. somehow I always think Bullet physics = Blender. Does Carrara even have a game engine like Blender?
@xrayfishx I didn't even know that Blender had its own game engine! No, Carrara doesn't - it's not really my field but I know it can export stuff to be used in the Unity game engine (amongst others).
@xrayfishx One of the big ones is Carrara's integration with Daz and Poser content which it can use natively. It renders fast and has an easy to use interface - I know that Blender has improved in the latter regard! I've used it for over 3 years and am just used to it!
@xrayfishx Poser and Daz Studio are probably the most popular platforms for 3D human character rendering and animation and they have a huge library of resources available. if you are interested, Daz Studio 4 Pro is available for free this month only, which is a real bargain!
@xrayfishx They will hope to get you hooked and then spend a load on content - that is their business model! But it's a fun tool to try and you can get some great results from it.
@PhilW222 yeh I kinda realized that. But if it costs so much then at least I can later sell the license for some 250$ or so (when the sale is over of course). Eventually someone might buy it. And my computer can't run it properly anyway.
@BorgKing001 Well my answer is going to be blatantly biased as I am the author of a set of video tutorials for Carrara! Have a look at the Infinite Skills website. These are also available through the Daz3D site.
But to be fair, there are also resources available on the web too - a good starting place is probably the Daz3D Carrara forums which are always quite busy and there is always help at hand. Happy rendering!
@TellNoMore Carrara as a whole is such a comprehensive program that it will take a while for you to get to know it all - but you can make a start quite simply and then learn aspects that most interest you. In that way, it is a program that can grow with you as you develop your 3D skills!
@BorgKing001 there are many ways to learn how to program i learned from tuts from thenewboston he has every type of programming there is on his channel including building a custom pc and sql database
@sllide Sorry I didn't keep a record, but not that long as the lighting and render settings are not too high as these were intended as tests or demos rather than final productions.

Hey That was really great , how did you get that plane object to act like a cloth? I tried the softbody physics cant seem to get it the object just bounces off the moment it touches the ground.
@NathansPhase2012 - Thank you for your comment, although I can't say that I agree, nor is it at all relevant to the animation that I posted which does not even try to be "art" but is just some tests of some new features in Carrara that I thought may be of interest to some.

@PhilW222 afaik the blender's game engine is more powerful than Unity.
But what can you do in Carrara that you can't do in Blender? It looks kinda pointless to me.

@PhilW222 I wish I knew what Daz and Poser are...
But if that is an important part of it then I guess they must be some cool (and expensive) toys :)

@PhilW222 lol I have never heard of Daz before, but since it costs over $400 and I can get it free legimately I'll download it anyway. Thanks a lot!
And they say there's no free lunch...

@urko0 Make sure your plane is subdivided - maybe 20x20 - and reduce bounce in the object properties to zero.
