That's what's great about cats. Kittsy(great name) had a terrific time in the tree branches;then she gets a belly rub as just reward for all that exertion. It's a tough life being a cat. Fab video.

Maybe! I hadn't seen any near their house though. We had a kitten Amelia also and she would climb on top the tomato poles. When we were weeding the chickens would always come to see if we were trying to get bugs and peck us. Ammy would round them up good if we brought her!

Neat! I never realized how well they can climb. A freind had a little kitten on the farm too named Amelia Earhart and she learned how to climb scarily well from fallowing me up trees. The other day she actualy climbed way up a telaphone poll and my friends neibours thought she was done for, but she came back down fine=)

Cats mainly use climbing as a defense, I think. It is ususally a young cat that climbs a big pole like that. We once had a cat stuck on a pole for 2 days. I called the fire department and they said it would come down. they said you never see any  cat skeletons on telephone poles.

Oh ya, like to hide at night or while eating maybe it stuck with them from their ancestors. It seems the problem is if they get on top of something then they're too scared if someones watching. Took Ammy a long time to figure out she had to let her back legs fall first. Can see how kittsy didn't want to go on the branch of the big tree. I think she must have gotten stuck a few times chasing birds or squirrels.

Yes, one thing hat realy was touching about the time at those peoples house was the animals and how much freedom they have but at the same time how much they love to hang out with people. Made me a bit sad about my dog who's still kind of on probation from when I bailed him out of jail... He gets into tonnes of mischief when he's not on a leash! Raiding mcdonalds dumpsters for old ketchup packets and such.

Thanks Reggie, I think they have a remarkable way with me! I feel so blessed around animals. Raven seems to fallow me around a lot:) I'm sure Raven is my totem. But crows just as much I feel connected to. Raven is the only animal I've ever really had dreams or visions of in a spiritual context. But I've had a lot of touching experiences with different animals that I'll never forget.

Kittsy has to where a bell on her neck cause she catches birds! She apparently got a poor little crow once. That's how she got her tree climbing skills, chasing birds and chipmunks. On a brighter note though one of my friends got a kitten a while back and I've got her climbing in and out of trees already. She climbs the tomato trellises and watches us pick the tomatoes hehe

Cats are so amazing!
