I keep looking for myself. I was right in front of you against the rail where Deal was standing all night. Pixies are SO good! Started listening to DFA 1979 because of this show too!!

Thanks for posting this! I was at this show and also saw them the day before and he day after, this was their best performance of the weekend. Dave was walking around the field while the band before them played. I said hello to him, and he was really nice.

the day after...was that the really really small venue at the egg or whatever in NY? I heard that was one of the best shows they did that year!

Nope, the day after this show was in Kingston, NY, the last show they did in the USA. The show at the Egg was a few months before this. That show was acoustic and a practice for the Newport Folk Fest. I didn't go to that show but clips of it can be seen on the Pixies Newport Folk Fest dvd, I went to the show in Atlantic City right before they played the Egg and it was half acoustic half electric and in my opinion the best show I've seen them do.
