  • I had been using this clay for years on my face and body....keeps my pores super clean..

  • The clay you are talking about sorry if I'm wrong is otherwise known as China clay the stuff they make pots and plates out of. The clay it self probable contains trace elements of stuff like - heavy metals and even uranium, that right. Look on the web like wiki. + it's a fact that most soil like stuff like clay is contaminated with other elements. Looks good fun playing with the dirt but as kind advice I would think twice about what gets suck under your nails; if u know what I'm saying. It is u

  • @chris77777777ify Wiki, because it's sooooooooo reliable!!!! Gotta love it.

  • @chris77777777ify Hi! While I do agree that our soil is contaminated, but using clay is probably much, much safer than using commercial shampoos. Nowadays we have to use the path of less negative impact.

  • The bentonite powder I ordered was grey and not brown, is that normal?

  • Try using a blender next time.

  • I liked your video very much.

  • I liked your video very much.

  • where else can i get this cause im in united arab emirate?

  • @superstar8499 i have no idea girl

  • I love the accent and I love the personality!!! Thanks for the tutorial, me and bentonite clay will become best buddies

  • I like that song...what is it?

  • I love using this clay! I just use the clay with water and have used ACV. You and a few others on Nappturality turned me on to it. Thank you so much! I had issues with rinsing out the shampoo out of my hair since I went natural. The clay does stretch and loosen my curls for a minute and it rinses so clean! I ordered 3lbs off ebay since I'm living in Okinawa, Japan I didn't know where to go to get the clay, so Thank God for Ebay!!! If you can't find it get it locally get it on EBAY for sure!!!

  • The only downside to Bentonite is that when it dries...it REALLLLLY dries. In my Bentonite Mud Mask, I added some purified sea mud & grapefruit seed extract to stop from over drying. That can hurt.

  • small children or pet for that matter LOl .. that musci got me dancing over here Lol i love up beat jazz

  • Hi Richeau! I love your videos! Um could you please post on your fotki what you do exactly for your bentonite clay and indian powders? I'm am dying to try them! But i'm unsure as to how often to use them......

  • mountainroseherbs has better prices especially for bulk and they have both the clay and marshmellow

  • My friend was just telling me about bentonite clay and marshmallow root. I definitely have to go online to see what I can find...that ships internationally...CHEAP! lol Thanks for the video knowledge.

  • Hi, EmpressRi, just wanted to say love your videos & I wanted to try this bentonite mask for a while but I can't seem to find it in my area, I may have to do online, ugh, which I hate because of the shipping fees. Sometimes, its more than the product. Oh, I have a question, In 1 of your older videos you said that you use apple cider vinegar? Would you mind telling me what does it do, how do you use it and exactly when do you use it, before shampooing or before conditioning? Thanks in advance

  • Does the marshmallow root powder wash out easily or does it leave tiny grits on the hair?

  • In the early 90s Ii bought a set of red plastic spatulas. They got worn out through use. Now I cannot find new ones in "kitchen red".

Do I have to order them online? Where did you get yours?

  • Hello,

Im in New York and I wanted to know where I can get or order Marshmellow root clay. Please help and advise me where to go.

    Thanks,

    Shana

  • Where do you buy your products? I've just started with the french green clay, rhassoul clay, & bentonite --mostly for my skin. I order mine @ mountain rose herbs.

  • I bought the same brand she has from whole foods

  • Thank you for all of your videos. -Angelicus

  • I've ordered the clay and the maca root. I am going to try it next week sometime. Thank you for an excellent tutorial. :)

  • I'll have to try the marshmellow powder in my clay sometime. Also if you want to get really cheap bentonite, get a bag of pure cat litter. The kind without any chemicals. You get a lot for a dollar or two, same thing. By the way, seen a couple of your vids, you've got great music.

  • Do you crush the kitty litter or just use the water? There is a video of a girl using it for a facial.

  • where do you find marshmallow root powder ?

  • fromnaturewithlove/dot/com

    mountainroseherbs/dot/com

  • does it help with flakes

  • you have a dry scalp or eczema i presume? you might want to tackle that first. what is your regimen?

  • @richeau How often can you use Bentonite Clay? Once a week, once a month? I'm thinking of using this to replace shampoo.

  • What is the texture of the Marshmallow root powder when mixed with water?

    Is it sticky or slippery?

  • think of wet dough that is sort of gooey.

  • also (sorry for so many questions) but what else can you add to the mix to condition dry hair or help with dandruff?

    thanks!

  • Some people mix EVOO (olive oil) into their bentonite mixture..utuber..j030977..adds EVOO to hers..check her vids ouy

  • any type of herbal infusion. chamomile, calendula...or heck tea tree oil!

  • I love your videos, and the music what song is that playing in the background?

  • errrr i think it's a sumo remix, on marula soul vol 2

  • where did you get the aztec indian clay? i live in indiana and i have very curly multi ethnic hair. your vids are great by the way.

    thanks!

  • vitamin shoppe or gnc sells it! but remember i said in the video that my friend sent it to me cause i couldnt find it, but try online

  • thanks! also do you use this every week? how often do you use the clay?

    thanks!

  • Whole Foods carries it too in the beauty products section.

  • great video. I will be ordering this stuff and trying it soon.

  • I wonder if this is the same clay that spas use. I just bought this at Vitamin Shoppe after watching your vid. Do you ever mix amla, shikakai, etc. powder(s) in w/ your clay?

  • most likely it is, but doing it yourself is cheaper! nah, i wont mix amla and whatnot into my clay cause it seems pointless to be honest. i'd rather use them as a rinse!

  • Since u added marshmallow root to ur clay, I wondered abt mixing amla/neem/etc. into clay b/c they have conditioning benefits, too.

  • marshmallow root also has slip. there is such a thing as doing too much, and i think that might be a bit much, especially if you don't know how your hair will react to one or the other. i don't like to get too mixy mixy with things cause i have made my hair feel dry as hell doing that before.

but experiment by all means if you have the urge to lol

  • Nah ... I'll take ur word for it. U r the guru since u have used this clay b4 ... that's why I watched u do it first! =D

LOL ... when I heard abt how the skin pulsates when this clay is used (from reading the clay label & watching your vids), that tripped me out. Now, I have visions of those cartoons where someone's big toe gets smashed & it swells up to the size of a bowling ball flashing neon red. Te he he! LOL!

  • hahaha!!! nah though, you really do feel it pulsate. it's such a weird sensation but pulsing it accurate!

  • Have you tried henna? Do you know the difference between the two? I'm running to get this tomorrow. I've heard so much about it. Have you done a vid and I didn't see it? This seems to happen with us...lol,lol

  • "damn shrinkage" loll

  • lol, that's so true about closing the curtains. I don't have curtains in my kitchen and I'm siting here with the clay on my hair and face, trying to avoid going into the kitchen. Don't wanna scare anyone. There's an old lady that lives across my house and she can pretty much see everything that goes on in my kitchen. Poor thing, I hope I don't give her a hear attack or sumn'.

  • Hey girl aren't you from NYC? Because I found Marshmallow Root powder in NYC on 1st ave at a store with tons of powders (henna and all that too)

  • YOU DID?!?! WHERE!!!!!

  • Ebay has it.Look for best price.

  • I have to order it online.Does anyone know if the marshmallow powder will look like clay when added to water? it is hard to tell buy the vid because there is more betonite clay in that mixture.

  • i love the music in ur vid! what is it?!

  • Great vid :). I use bentonite clay already, but I followed your advice and added hot water instead of warm water and it made it a lot less clumpy.

  • Ooh I'm sorry girl, did I say warm water? I use hot hot hot water!!! You can see the steam rising lol

  • Nah, you said it right, lol. And using hot water instead of warm made all the difference :D.

  • Once again, WONDERFUL video. What's the marshmallow powder for? You are now my go-to gurl for hair and products. Please keep up the good work & great personality. MUCH LOVE & LIGHT

  • thanks girl! marshmallow root=moisture, slip, natural conditioning!

  • How can you afford to try all these products...man oh man.......you must make good money. I love your reviews though

  • im a hair pimp and i got a lot of hair hoes....

  • LOL!!! Get it!

  • this bentonite stuff looks interesting. trying it!

  • yay, another review :)

  • I'm dancing to the music in your video right now. LOL

  • HEY! i went to order some of that Anita Grant and i also tried to order those Ida Shampoo bars and they were both SOLD OUT!!!! Did you buy it all up!!! *gives you the look*

  • wasnt me! i stock up so i dont run into those problems hehe!!!

  • girl you know Im gonna have to try it. Watching these videos isnt helping my PJism

  • Hey Empress, thanks for posting this. I was just wondering if there is a natural clarifier for the hair. Now I know there is...off to WholeFoods!! Thanks Gabbygirl202!! And Empress, do you add this to your scalp and roots only or throughout the strands??

  • You plaster it on your whole head! Really mush it in there.

  • thanks for the great review as always. i don't know if you said, but do you use this once a week or once a month? Thank you again.

  • Hey! You can do it once a week if you like, but I do it maybe once a month cause I have other treatments to use.

  • ok great. If I keep watching your videos and reading your post on NP. I am going to become a PJ in training! LOL When you say let the clay dry, will dry like a facial mask does? Meaning that it should get hard. Off to check on prices and get me some Marshmallow root powder and bentonite clay.

  • Eh, it sort of dries like a facial mask on your hair.

  • they sell the bentonite clay (that exact brand) at Whole Foods in the beauty section

  • ty for that

  • first, and great review! can't wait to try it!
