The problem is when someone doesn't get their way all they know to do is bash. I was around in 2001 and recall a person harrassing workers in the parking lot and posting shit on our vehicles...oh but that's ok. I have been a member of the UFCW for 30 years and Proud of it ! ! ! !
This is common with labor unions. I've seen this basic thing from SEIU, UAW, UFCW, and Teamsters. I was a member of Teamsters when I worked for UPS. I don't want my hard-earned money going to support political causes that I don't believe in. Further more, while I do believe in proper compensation, I don't believe in these CBAs that will destroy many companies and put their employees out in the cold.
This sounds like the UFCW. Hell in 2001 UFCW International, UFCW Canada and UFCW 247 took me to court because I called them the United Fraud and Corruption Workers and posted the UFCW Constitution on my website. I represented myself and it was the first time in Canadian history that a major trade union has had to post its documents on the Internet for all to read. UFCW admitted that they do not want the members seeing the document because it tells how to remove the elected union officials.
