oh yeah, and don't sing it like this guy. Don't get me wrong, it's not horrible. But the first note needs to be held out way longer and try not to be fat. that's all I can suggest.

I am Playing the role of the Constable at present. The high G and solo singing is hard enough let alone dancing to a russian dance peice as well.

well, in the script, yes, but as having played sasha, the solo is demanding enough. (well, i'm a baritone, so that's why it was so challenging. lot's of voice lessons to hit that a flat. lol) it may not have been possible to find someone with the chops to get that solo ANd be able to dance.

i play motel in our school's production, but i have had to fill in for the russian quiet a few times, and not to sound harsh but it's not that high of a note( but it also depends on ones voice range)

i loved it i played tevye for a while...although the chorus at times seems without energy, and the soloist russian didnt seem to hold it out long enough

wow..i like the fyedka part or whoever and however you spell it..our school is doing this and its funny because our routine is way different..i loved that note the guy held.KUDOS!! (btw our school is short on boys so we need to use girls as men in this scene..lol..i have a small part..im yussel)
