Does anyone know the name of the announcer of the KUHT-TV I.D. that comes before the start of American Experience? I remember hearing his voice a lot growing up with this channel.
Thanks for posting! I vaguely remember the "rope 8" logo and I forgot that there were 2 versions of it. I also like the fact that the 8 was composed of 8 pieces. Nice touch.

@crooow I always thought that was the coolest logo back then. To me it looked like a bunch of nail clippings. :)
