  • Chuckie- Your videos are great! Thanks for taking the time to make them. Can you tell me how to get my edited photos on to shutterfly from pse10. I can go under order prints but it doesn't give me the option to add my pictures to a photo book or pick up at a local store. I can also get them on to shuttterfly if I save them as a jpg but there has to be a more direct way. Thank you, I just go pse this week & I would be lost with out you tutorials. Don't know if it matters but I have a mac.

  • so i just got mine today and it doesnt show me the tools or anything... WHAT DO I DO

  • @TheGreenecountytech The best place to start is to go to the File Menu and open any picture. Choose the Edit tab on the far right-hand side. Under that tab select Guided and you will see lots of different things you can do to fix your photos. If you need help with something specific, let me know.

  • I have been trying to learn PSE9 for a few weeks. This is by far the BEST beginner video tutorial series I have found.

  • @millertime1023 Thanks so much for the encouragement. Sorry for the delay in response, I was out on shooting assignment.

    Cheers.

  • Man... I usually do no post comments on youtube but this time, I felt compelled to do so. I have recently switched from PC to Mac and on PC, I was used to PhotoImpact. As it doesn't exist on Mac, I settled on Elements 10 from the app store but got a bit lost. Your videos on Elements are really perfect. Thank you very much for taking the time to make these.

  • @justarandomguyonline Thanks so much for stopping by. I appreciate positive comments and look forward to making more tutorials for all to enjoy.

  • I used to love Microsoft Picture IT..it was so easy to work with, for someone who knew nothing about editing pictures. Then I bought Photoshop Elements (and the book Photoshop Elements 8) and have been confused every since. I finally sat down today to start watching your tutorials, starting with this one. Thanks so much for the hard work you put into these...you make it so easy to understand!!!

  • @mammafishy Thanks so much. I have been working on a real series for beginners but keep getting distracted as Adobe keeps updating their software ;)

  • Chuckie -

Thanks much for your videos, they are very helpful. Feeling dumb here but how did you create the 3 equally sized boxes? Did you do a selection then control (command) J with a fill selection? I’ve tried several ways but keep getting a full layer and then fill that but not just the selected box. Thanks

    Flyerhere

  • @flyerhere Sorry about that mate. I should have included the how to make the boxes. I created a new layer then used the rectangular marquee tool to make a square by choosing fixed ration 1:1 then went to edit then fill selection. Then I used the control J to make duplicates of the boxes.

  • Hi Chuckie,

You didn't show us how to align the three blocks so there will have equal spacing on all sides. If you look at the last segment regarding alignment of the three boxes, the left side is wider than the right side. How do you align them so they are equal distant from the sides of the green box and each other?

    Thanks, JAW

  • @jngwatson Unfortunately, PS doesn't have the layout tools like InDesign and it has only been programmed to evenly distribute between the three objects and not evenly SPACE them between the edges. It is frustrating for most. In the full version of Photoshop, there have been people that have written scripts to evenly space but they don't work easily with Elements. Thanks for the comment though and sorry I couldn't help.

    Cheers.
