Thank you so much to the brave men and women who are aboard fighting for both Great Britain and the United States of America. You are role models for the whole world and I can't wait until they all come back home safe having won the war against al-Qaeda.
This song makes me think of my family members who have fought for this country! From WWII to present...my family has always supported the rights of others & has taught us to do the same!! I Love Them....Miss Them....& not matter others intentions are in this battle, whether its right or wrong, I support those who give their efforts, sweat, & tears to defend our rights!! God Bless & Come Home Safe!
I don't like the WWE as a company. Because in my opinion people pay hard earned money to see a show and all they do is whine and complain. But then again. I give my respects to them for these troops shows. And also to Nickelback. Not everybody does these things. So my hats off to both of them. Keep them coming. :)
Something about this seems hypocritical to me. They are apparently tributing it to soldiers, who are very violent (whether we like the the people they are being violent towards or not). Violence is the opposite of standing together to solve things. Unless Nickleback did it intentionally for this as a type of satire? Anyway, great song.
@DeanoProductionsTM Until someone punches you in the face, you don't stand there and take it, you retaliate. If someone's beating on you, you don't stand there and let it happen. You take a stand and defend yourself, much like what our troops are doing.
@VeryUb3r I didn't say otherwise. Doesn't stop it being hypocritical. The war isn't about stopping a threat to the USA. The threat, if anything, has increased, since many many people in the area have gotten annoyed at the USA (whether that's USA's fault or not). It's as much a lie as ever that soldiers are there to keep peace. They are people trained to kill, antithesis of peace. Hundreds of thousands of people have been killed ... (continued)
@VeryUb3r (continuation) ... compared to the few thousand killed in USA, as a result. That is not defense and is not in any way proportional for any sort of collective punishment retribution argument to stand strong. It is the complete opposite of standing together.
@DeanoProductionsTM You should really look at what you type. The complete opposite of standing together? Please, you mean that aniversary we have every year on that day where america was put on her knees? Millions of people around the world stood together when that event happened.
Countries back us up when we were under attack. Look at all the countries in the war now, to name a few, Spain,Britain, Canada, Australia.
@VeryUb3r Yes, because standing together doesn't mean everyone on one side of the argument standing together against the other. It means everyone standing together. You or the other side are not above each other, and you should work together to sort out your problems, like kids are told to do in school if they have problems with other students. Everyone rallying behind a war call is not standing together. It's a war, how can you say that is all relevent parties standing together?
@backrubs62 It's not really that black and white. There is always negotiation. And it isn't just the "enemy" that are killed, many civilians that have done nothing have been murdered. Many more than the number of civilians the real targets managed to kill in the USA. Even if taking a utilitarian consequentialist view it doesn't add up. It's not a we die or they die situation, especially since it's national policy and not a few instances of close interpersonal violence.
