Not really, I think the accent that Tarja has adds a bit to the originality part. Ane 'Ever Dream' and many others sound much better live, than on CD/DVD I might say.

One of my favorite song of Nightwish, it's really lovely. Concerning anette and tarja, it's sure that I prefer tarja, but anette is good too, for sure lyric voice is better than pop voice, but things are what they are. Tarja is great, and obviously Nightwish will never be the same without her, but putting her up on a pedestal is just ridiculous. Of course with classical training she can do more with her voice than Anette, but Anette is a good singer too and she can definitely outsing most people who call themselves singers these days. If you compare her singing to Tarja's when she's not doing the operatic voice, Anette actually sounds better.

This was the last concert of Nigtwish with Tarja. Wasn't it that right after this concert they gave Tarja the now (in)famous letter...? I think you can sense the band's mood and tiredness in this concert video. The concert is still great but some energy is lacking...
