I actually think they were in top form this night by the sounds of it. I saw them here in Vancouver in 04' with Sammy and being 42 now, I have always preferred the orginal lineup. Of course, I've seen some bad shows with Roth. He sounds good here though. I miss Michael on bg vox though. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that Roth is going deaf, or it was so loud he couldn't hear his monitors. It looked that way to me anyway. Great show though! Thanks for posting it!

this was an off night for dave. i saw them about two weeks later in minneapolis and they kicked ass. Anyone who says that eddie is off his game can kiss my ass and anyone who says sammy is a better front man is plain retarded.

The best way to judge is to see their solo shows. Dave is trying to re-create the past...Sammy is looking into the future.

There are some pretty strong rumors going around that say they are going to be extending the tour well into next year. So there could very well be an album out next year. They already moved a concert date in St. Louis from Oct. to March, so me guess is that the rumor will be ture.

VH with Roth is Royal. VH fans lost out during the Sammy years. VH would have been much larger with Roth during these years .. its a shame that music was lost during the Sammy years. VH will always have success with their fan base, you can't deny greatness. Sammy has nothing to do with VH's success they will be successful regardless.

I'm constantly reminding these Sammy and Mikey crybabys Mikey's exit from VH began as far back as the first reunion in 1996 MTV awards. Mike never wanted to play with Roth EVER!! Since then (with the constant jamming/drinking with his buddy Sammy) Mike has turned into a drunken fool who beleives in his own hype, much thanks to Sammy. And everbody was making Eddie's drinking problems the scapegoat for VH problems. Lets face it Mikey, you got sloppy and thank Sammy and the Cabo Wabo for that!!

I was there at the oct 12t show in Toronto and they fukkin ROCKED!, Diamond Dave still has it,, still has the same stage presence he had way back when.I saw Dave solo in 86 at Maple leaf gardens and he rocked then too, but Im glad i got the chance to see him with Van Halen FINALLY!,and mega kudos to Wolfie, the kid did alright !
