I got one. all they do is pick up microwave signals and IR and any certain radio freqs. It doesn't home in on where the devices are located. I have a friend who has a 25k piece of equipment. He had to take classes to learn how to find hidden microphones and cameras. An old Motorola Cell phone will do the same as this. It emits pulses to find hidden objects

@crazyguyjk555 this might pick up a chip based digi processor in your average consumer based product. But most professionals use cold base mics or fiberoptic cameras which run external lines away from any soundboards or digital boards that can be picked up by detectors. After discovering a mic in my house I watched it get pulled from the attic and away from the house. I won't go any further from there.

@MrChameleon2010 that's not what I was referring to... it reflects off the chip from the lens that is right there... obviously there is a lens to capture the footage, and that is what this product picks up on... this does not pick up audio devices, just video... you might be mistaken this product for a frequency finder, which this is not
