their plan was to get me angry, destroy me by any means, santeria withcraft, gunpowder, possesion, turning family against me, mental health, prison, financially, attacking my son using him as leverage, killing my children and creatures, felony to keep me oppresed so i would take a negative path in life, i know how to hustle with out hurting life, im a hustler too. using rituals you name it you will be surprised where the spells and were they were hidden. using my son strategic intelligence.
It is obvious that Retro-Active Pop Punk culture is an untapped profit for advertisers also. I want to make the world a better place to live in through using our brains to progress and WE CAN DO IT! I remember seeing Conflict so many times as a kid. The Ambulance station on the old kent road and in Los Angeles in 1986? Paco and i used to go into the the Kebab shop next door and get all kinds crap from the vegies, lol it was all fun.
hey wasnt colins close mate a nazi...he was in a band who were on colins label...the singer is a white supremacist called john...i know this is true ill be back!!!!!
Yeah, the band was called Admit Your Shit or AYS. I think the only reason he was on the label is because Colin thought everyone's beliefs should be heard, no matter how awful. Or maybe because he was he was just his friend.
bad decision either way and he is still a nazi... there is an article about AYS in a book about anarcho punk called "the day the country died" by ian glasper...
as you say its utopic.and because of that it may never ever happen because you know we need new humans without the sence of greed and power to do that. but anarchy is a good base of principals even thoug people thinks is complete chaos it isnt, is an orther without rules and a lider to tell us wath to do because we allready should have consiousnes of how to act and think in that way and live in freedom and peace at the same time.we better think in how to fix our real world instead.
I was lucky enough to see CONFLICT 4 times when they played Sydney, Australia in 1997. Unlike people overseas, I've never been able to see them again. I was able to meet all members after the gig, right there in the bar they played at. I have never met such polite, kind, friendly people in my life. I love them for both their music and lyrics. They deserve respect for the work they have done for the many other bands, such as the Lost Cherrees. A Truely remarkable band, mean every word they say.
Anarchists can consume, but everyone else is a 'consumerist prick'? Give me a fucking break. Anarchists might hold some valid views but like most things in life, it won't happen. Thank fuck..
of the people I knew in the anarcho scene, 99% were selfish tossers -sorry, but's thats my experience
Ifd there was 'anarchy' you would have to empty your own rubbish bins (recycle and compost man) and do something worthwhile for your beer you lazy buggers.
only problem is , that song is over 25 years old .. i was a young in those times but i never saw them alive in scandinavia...it was good punk band indeed..
Communism is a perfect society that could never exist. Anarchy is a society in which only small groups of peaceful people could be an anarchy. Not with a large capitalist society today filled with murderers and rich people who still want control with their butlers and maids. Democracy is not the answer either as you can see as the U.S.A.'s economy crumbles to shit worth the only thing backing the dollar is this thing called HOPE. What bullshit. The rebellion is coming
-isms cannot exist. Thye are ALL ideals. Read Thomas Carlyle and you'll have an idea where this is going. Fuck idealism, if people want it they'll adopt it. Just don't make it too complicated, we are all idiots, in a sense.
Oh fuck off you stupid knobhead. I was only fucking messing about. I take it you consume nothing then? Or like 99% of 'anarchists' are you a complete hypocrite?
Anarchy? Yeah right. Lets all change human nature and work for each other.......dream on.
Human nature? I'd dare say human nature is more along the lines of cooperation, not fighting. We don't really want to shit in the very beds we sleep in, people just don't see a way out. The way we live (industrialized, globalized system for producing capital) has been around for not even a percent of how long humans have existed. Wasn't always about rampant consumerism and exploitation.
You make some fair points mate but in the end we are all hypocrites and ultimately only care about our own .......IN GENERAL. The minority that would work for the benefit of others would soon get fed up and begin acting lie everyone else...it's called human nature and will always be the same.
anyone who discusses anarchim needs to recognize the fact that anarchism has existed as a legitimate form of government before. All you have to do is look into what was going on in Barcelona/Catalonia during the Spanish Civil War (mid to late 1930's).. Their government was Anarcho-Syndacalism and the only thing that stopped them from continuing their existence was Franco's fascist army .
Very true. Look up "List of Anarchist Communities" on Wikipedia for a lot of other examples. The Spanish Civil War was of course the strongest example though, I agree.
Different communites worked together making free schools, colleges, farms, economic reforming facilities,
and for 3 years, Spain flourished as a country of Anarchism, and not untill a government-powered party overthrough the people with fear and violence, did the country turned back into a government operated counrty. Spain in its Anarchistic years.Factual History. Appreciate & Learn
well anarchy is very possible to happen its just most people in it are lazy or think riots are the way to change but yeah we need more then riots and music to have anarchy
The problem is class consciousness, I know it's typically a marxist term but it's applicable to anarchism as well. Most people won't try to make any changes because they don't realize how alienated they are. Not to mention that most anarchists can't even agree with each other. For anarchism to work, and for a mutualist economy to ever stay stable, people would have to be willing to work for it.

to me it is about the music, I dont want to hear someone rant about a utopia if I dont like the music to it. So, why listen to a band were I hate the music(crass)when I can listen to bands were I like the music and at the same time has a message, like Conflict, Anti Cimex or Antisect?
seen them at cleater moor (cumbria),sunderland bunker and preston awesome each time and the joke section on there web site is very very funny anarchy peace freedom love and trust
Peacepunk is an oxymoron. I remember Conflict gigs in the late eighties when directions were handed out for places to go and 'peacefuly protest' ie vandalise (local BNP HQ,Tory Party Office etc ) Great fun !
Your correct. I've seen them. I've also seen paco with a tire iron to. Thats what you need to protect yourself against the BM and racist's who would come to gig's and cause problems and violence against mainly pacifist or scared people who won't or cant defend themselves.

well that's colins opinion, to me crass just makes propaganda to a rhytm, barely even music if you ask me...

But the music isnt the point, its the message behind the music
Threaders85 3 years ago
to me it is about the music, I dont want to hear someone rant about a utopia if I dont like the music to it. So, why listen to a band were I hate the music(crass)when I can listen to bands were I like the music and at the same time has a message, like Conflict, Anti Cimex or Antisect?

Yea thats fair enough. I'm not having a go at ye mate. Conflict are still a fucking good band its just what you prefer.
