  • @mka800 LMAO!!

  • Poor Kim always gets beaten up about her age - and I make as many jokes about it as anybody. Thing is, it must be somewhat embarrassing for "legal age" world-famous gymnasts when they see a seven-year-old who's almost as good as they are. And BETTER than them on bars. Think about it.

  • @beautifulsarah100 no because it is known that younger children can be better at gymnastics than older kids, but their bodies suffer more and pay more in the long run, that's why the age limit exists, to protect the children.

  • @mka800 LMAO LMAO

  • @mka800 LMBO!

  • Does anybody know who trained this gymnast? It's so weird that PRK produced such a perfect all-rounder, but didn't (and still doesn't) have anything else to show for itself, even if you take the subsequent ban after they discovered Kim Gwang Suk was so ridiculously underage.

(And yeah, the LULZ SHE LOOKS -2.90 OLOLOL shit isn't funny or original.)

  • Judging by how young she looks during 91-92 I actually expected her to be a foetus at these championships. However she still looks about the same here as at the Olympics. Weird.

  • @Simba85 bahahahaha i actually laughed so hard at that. tbh, i think the chinese gymnasts ALWAYS look significantly younger than everyone else!

  • considering she was probably only 9 or 10 years old here in actuality, she's probably one of the most talented gymnasts the world has ever had!!

  • @LMA629 actually, by looking at the moves she was throwing in 1987, she had to AT LEAST have been 8 or 9 then, which would have made her 10 or 11 here.

  • Possibly because she is pretty much the ONLY notable gymnast North Korea ever produced, so they wanted to get as much out of her as possible. China and Romania had a larger stable of good gymnasts so they only cheated when the stakes were big.

  • wow, that was pretty amazing, how come I never heard of her before.

  • I think she's about 10 here because i reckon she was about 13 in the 92 olympics.

  • very cute chereography! ! shes so cute, i just want to go over and hug her =]]. sometimes, she doesnt seem like she enjoys gymnastics though..

  • will we ever know how old she really was?

She looks too young but was she 10 or 12 or 13 or maybe the right age? just Kim Gwang Suk herself know how old she reallyis!

    It doesn´t matter!

It was a well performed exercise!

  • @KseniaSemenovaFan well probably never know. but she was an amazing little gymnast, esp on bars. i just think its funny that n. korea listed her age as 15 for 3 consecutive years and then suddenly in 1992 she was 17.

  • She was actually about ten in this video, not eight. Still, though, incredibly talented for her age.

  • Looove her!

  • if they were gonna lie they should have waited for her to make her debut in the next year and called her 13....

  • She is soooo far from being 14 here, it's not funny. I have a feeling that I'm just stating the obvious however.

  • Oh I see! I thought you just meant pike. We call that "wolf position" in our gymnastics. Weird, isn't it?

  • yeah, a little mangled together on the fullin... i give her the pike but she needs to pull in and not sepperate her legs at all...

  • The full back in the first pass is a nice example of one where you don´t know if it was tuck or piked. But the other passes were perfect and the second was spectacular!

  • Its pucked :-D

  • Pucked?

    It's piked :)

  • Pucked is when you have the top half of your leg in the pike position, and tuck from the knee down underneath.... It is a position :-)
