What people need to understand is: British comedy shows usually only do 2 seasons and then maybe a few specials. This is because British people are smart enough to know when their show has jumped the shark and they don't want to risk that.

What people need to understand is: British comedy shows usually only do 2 seasons and then maybe a few specials. This is because British people are smart enough to know when their show has jumped the shark and they don't want to risk that.

i like the interviewer and i love the way ricky isnt one of those comedians that thinks hes the only one thats allowed to be funny. he always laughs loads when other people say something funny. granted his laugh is usually funnier than what the person said, but he cant help that!
the interviewer is on a level, hes just having a laugh. if he was being all stiff and responding seriously to what ricky was saying then people would complain about that too! theres just no pleasing some people......

Half of what makes Ricky Gervais so funny to me is his laugh. He's able to make even the most mundane comment seem hilarious because his laugh and playful mannerisms are so infectious.
