I am not sure of the total legend behind the skinwalkers, but I know they are real. I lived on the Navajo rez in AZ as a very youngman. Me and my family were guest of a family there and I heard about them by the children talking one day. I asked what they were and no one ever really told me the whole story, just whispers to stay clear of them and inside the house @ night! They are real and I am part native American. Iv seen them and hear them on the Rez where my friend lives. It's nothing to mess around with when your on the rez. An owl is rarely seen in the day they killed it and a body was there where they killed it. Call it fake or a lie but when you see them with tour own two eyes and see what happened that day you know its not a legend.

Depends on who's walking. There aren't many "authentic skinwalkers" anymore. Most are greedy people that are out for themselves, however there are some out there that are out there just to harm people. The real ones are the dangerous ones because they run in packs and actually practice in witchcraft.
