  • rock on love it

  • I don't know if this has already been asked/answered, but are they really playing?

  • @spikexmtz I was just wondering the same, take a look at Eric's face, he doesn't seem to be in really singing. What's more, the song sounds exactly the same of the album version, as far as I remember

  • Could someone please make a tab of this song, the riff is a killer!

  • Probably the darkest midpaced song even written by Trouble. It's so easy for me to dial in the same tone now to help those certain riffs that standout stand out even more. Thank you for the inspiration. Hail DOOM METAL!

  • That brings back memories...Saw these guys many of times, back in the day.

    The Metro,,Cubby Bear,,Aragon Ballroom,,Alamo Ballroom w/Queenryche'85,,Malo's,,

AAHHHH remember those days? I sorta do...@#%&?]

  • how do they get that blacksabbath tone?

  • it's a pity these blokes got labelled so badly. great band.

  • cristians, no matter is true metal, excelent band

  • seen them open for King Diamond in 85. I thought that was a strange pairing cuz I considered them a christian band. Imagine my surprise when a friend and I got to go on the tour van and they where all smoking pot.

  • @byerly6 Dude, I don't think you can play this kind of music with out smoking. Great band. Fuck Stryper, these guys are fucking cool.

  • @Deathtrip420 Having an altered state of consciousness always helps me write riffs like this. Or even being hungover at times and having the amp cranked. I tend to flow with out stopping. I don't hold back after a few cans of beer and few puffs of weed for some reason. But then again, I could use an upgrade in equipment.

  • Rrrrrock!!

  • Metal. True metal.

  • Strait up one of the best Bands! EVER!

  • What a f*^#ing guitar solo. I've had this record since the day it came out, and I never experienced the solo quite like seeing that. Saw these guys in Toronto five-ish years ago att Lee's Palace, and sadly the place was nowhere near full. It was like having a private show with a couple hundred people. The band was AMAZING, and should be recognized as true the pioneers of doom metal.

  • reminds me of sabbath. the truth is what it is

  • 82 no way

  • heaaavvyyyyyyyyy!!!!!Yeeeeeaaaahhhh!!!!!Trouble rules!!!!

  • CHUG CHUG CHUG

  • Amazing, es Black Sabbath mejorado. Lástima que sea tan dificil conseguir su musica.

  • great music, excellent band, but playback video :-(

  • Excellent video Tony. Thanks for sharing. Nadine:)

  • love it I have their album but this is better!!

  • this is fking bad-ass! thanks for the upload! \m/ \m/

  • Christian Doom me likes

  • Doom Metal at it's finest!

  • Majestic! Without the childish satan rules the world klischees

  • why did i just read someone compare axl rose to a metal singer?????

who the hell is axl rose

  • Trouble rulez.

  • axl rose sounds a bit like this vocalist

  • this is how its done

  • true Doom.

  • Seen them with Pantera here in Houston Tx at the Unicorn. It was a Kroegers gutted out with a stage in the back. I saw a lot of good bands there.

  • Imagine being in a doom metal band in the 80's.

You don't want anything to do with the glam metal scene, but the thrash kids don't give you much love either. It's not cool to play slow. It's the underground of the underground

You have to respect Trouble, Saint Vitus and everyone else who persevered through that era.

  • @TheGreaterGood80 yeah but this was 1982 early 83...im from Chicago....people freaked out at Trouble back then....they wanted music by Crue,Van Halen or ACDC.....they didnt get the christian version of Black Sabbath and shunned them

  • @netrioter they are from Aurora NOT chicago I remember when Eric had a job at fox valley mall

  • @mikekcmo6742 I dont tell people im from Oak Lawn/Worth,Illinois...i say im from Chicago.Aurora...lol...that town was a hell of alot smaller back in the 70's...i dont like going there anymore.

  • lol..plus...when youre in a bedroom community for a city of 3 million people...you're a chicagoan whether you like it or not.

  • @netrioter strangely enough sabbath werent satanists or into black magic, everheard after forever thats pretty much a pro christian song. Then tony iommi would wear crosses etc.

  • @67675656565655656565 oh totally...Sabbath is a spiritual band....the dark image makes them look evil. After Forever proves that they arent satanists

  • @netrioter ozzy even said they were the last of the hippie bands and closet they got to black magic was opening up a box of chocolates.Even a story of sabbath recording an album in a haunted castle and fleeing the place as they got to freaked out by staying there.

  • @TheGreaterGood80 Very true.. But I must say there's a big difference between Vitus and Trouble - I love both but only Vitus songs I can play. Trouble were fucking virtuosos.

  • @honcuk yup, Trouble were the equivalent of Maiden or Priest(more technical musicianship), whereas Vitus are the equivalent of Motorhead(raw sound and attitude)

  • so ill that this has 134,000+ views. to quote the bard, i have faith in the human race

  • ah jeez.....incredible...thanx for uploading this......hail Trouble!!!!

  • AMAZING!!!!

  • Doomsome....HAIL>>>>

  • Not that it has anything to do with this great band But if you want a sneek peek at the future of beiber and his helmet hair just look up Lief Garrett sometime He was There once too. Time can be cruel

  • The live version is EXACTLY equal to the studio version, a great performance or a playback?

  • @opticomxDDDDDDDDDDDD Watch the begining. Bruce Franklin picks his guitar half a second late.

  • this is the best video on youtube

  • @18sach bewitched by candlemass is pretty close

  • Anyone knows what tuning they use?

  • @sztriki Pretty sure C.

  • @sztriki

not sure if they are using alternate tuning but can be played in standard. not too hard fig out on guitar

  • I think different in anyways, if the evil cannot be punished by good ways, we punish with their own poison, to see how idiot they are, i am tired about this little rats blinded by the media, blind by their own ignorance...this world is evil, to be good you have to climb high, in this world if you want to ``relax`` fuck you! Metal is not to ``relax`` Metal is action, spiritual, real, metal is to listen, it is loud and heavy, to you, your fucker LISTEN! this world is not a joke.

  • Start praying for the lord, you will be punished, see the lyrycs...Satan doesen`t exist, if he exist i dont fear he, he fears me.

  • Classic doom metal. This is very similar to how my 7-piece opera (now in progress) will sound.

  • Fuck yeah this band rules

  • Who gives a shit if its a classic guitar or a Global from a Sears Roebuck catalog? The tone is godly.

  • Singer looks kinda like MegaDave. These guys have the best doom guitar tone!

  • Perfection.

  • @Thresholds LOL!

  • Wagner's guitar is as fake as his god.

  • @evilresidence4 you mean the 59 re-issue?that thing is worth more than your life right now.

  • @evilresidence4 It doesn't matter what you believe in, good music is good music.

  • @CrossHolder92 thats true. i really like this band even though im a satanist lol

  • @evilresidence4 That's the way mate! hail Satan! \m/

  • Now THAT's what metal should sound like.

  • @davidhabel91 ahahahah...... tell that you want to " live " relaxed to charles manson or richard ramirez... i do prefer "relax" but evilness exist; a children die every minute in africa ..you know that?

  • is it Live or Memorex...? I don't see any Amp power lites... Awesome Song, Great Band, cool fellows. Lots of Great sounding Memories...

  • A great opening act for Sabbath.

  • i love that people are talking about how they are christian or whatever, when they are in the DOOM/STONER METAL genre. they might use christianity as a topic, but i highly doubt they are extremely christian

  • @wexenhex What do you mean with "extremely christian"? Either one is christian or he is not...

  • @metaldario

yes, but there can be a difference on how devout one is, or the way one practices it.

  • @wexenhex You are of course right in terms of people that add certain things to the belief (and even build some kind of fanatism around it) that has nothing to do with the orthodox biblical teaching. F.e.: In the catholic church there is this Mary-worshipping going on, and still they claim to be the pillars of christianity, but according to the bible this is anti-christian behaviour. So, I agree with you, but I just wanted to show that there are christians and "christians".

  • @metaldario No one worships Mary in the Catholic Church, she is just a revered role model to them.

  • best doom metal band evarrr!

  • fuck

  • @craigcinca you really need to lay off the Google Chrome brother!!

    lmfao

  • These guys influenced like every Christian metal band afterwards, but no one could catch the Sabbath sound like them. What's wrong with people! I may have to take this into my own hands...

  • This is so fucking badass----I think i can dig a swimming pool with my bare hands when I hear this

  • One of my all time fave bands and can't wait to see them in 5 weeks on 70K tons of metal cruise even w/out Eric but seriously, these vids... WTF? They're just performing to the recorded track. Cool to see them in this setting but I wish they'd performed and recorded it

    That line is awesome!

  • Is Christian this band ?

  • @flaviomiranda7 yeah man

  • i fucking love trouble

  • Fuckin awesome I dare you not to headbang starting at 1 43 with that faster part

  • Great band!

  • This sucks sooo HARD that Eric Wagner isn't the singer now in Trouble, the singer that is in Trouble now sucks so hard sounds like he's about push out a fkn avi

  • Doomy

  • I've always thought trouble was so "black Sabbathy"

  • lamo, what a crappy quality :D

  • @86kinky86 Lamo ?

  • Ma che figoni!

  • IT'S REALLY NICE, IT MAKES ME REMEMBER OLD TIMES

  • these guys couldn't keep it together when they opened for Slayer!

  • why havent I heard of this before. i was 16 when this came out and always liked the more obscure stuff

  • Fuk this song rocks...

  • Jim Morrison + Robert Plant = Eric Wagner

  • Excellent. Veru talented. Thank you for sharing. Nadine

  • This album is so awesome that I cant believe this religious zealots made it.

  • @lenesu86 They are not zealots. I am not a fan of Christianity but these guys are very moderate and they realize the darkness of the Bible, and it reflects in this album that their faith is not simple "walk in the park" as it is to some oblivious Christians.

  • HELLO EVERYONE

  • @zackled: Spamming a stupid comment here on Youtube is NOT going to kill Justin Beiber's unwarranted fame. Just ignore the faggot and he will disappear just like every other untalented poser faggot out there. It's the best thing to do.

  • @legionofdoom2009 Actually I wasn't planning on doing it. I just thought it would be funny to see what would happen. I know that ignoring him is the best thing to do, but you have to admit that it will be funny to look on that video on July 4th to see what people are saying.

  • @legionofdoom2009

Dude, you are awesome!! You know, I posted my opinion of him on a gospel forum on what christians think of him, I said he has a homosexual spirit, and they removed my comment, and asked me to be less harsh. Some christianettes they are, gay-friendly. I HATE posers!

  • @legionofdoom2009 How is it unwarranted? You don't even know how it isn't true fame either? The word Shem is true fame or reknown...

  • This is not live. They are just playing the album while pretending to play their instruments.

  • Eric Wagner: Incredible vocalist, shitty air guitarist.

  • fuck, this rules. keepin' it this real in the 80's was no mean feat. this shit is pure.

  • \m/\m/\m/\m/

  • Fuckin epic dude. Great band.

  • very heavy riff its awsome!

  • EXCELLENT HEAVY BAND OF 80´S!!

  • by the way we use to burn them upm in old aurora, il over in the house on illinois, what a time to remeber, i remeber one of ther old roadies back in the 80's "tony" take it easy from all the guys who are still alive from those days part on, B rian z.....

  • i know these guys back when theyuse to write music at eric's house, use to jamm at the old malo's these guys have a big following in cali. they purly kick fuck'in ass tho rock on, from the days to remeber!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • It's not Christian rock, It's White Sabbath. Pretty much everything they did send a good vibe or message, Christianity is just another organized religion, and I'm thinking that hese guys are just on board with God and they way life should be lived

  • @mrlaymansterms1 their record company wanted them to have a kinda christian image..

  • people read the lyrics, it's anger directed at doers of wrong, more like "god will destroy you for the shit you've done to us" rather than "jesus loves you".

that put aside, fantastic song and guitar tone.

  • WE ARE NOT HOLY MEN!

  • Such an underated band, yet possibly one of the most awesome metal bands to ever grace the airwaves with their brilliance...

    Trouble...forever!!!

  • Awesome!!

  • singer wearing drowning doom symbol from brutal legend? 0_0

  • cool! =)

  • These lyrics are super Christian and the riff is holy doom.

  • GREAT riff. Perfect.

  • Really awesome riffing and guitar sound. now I can hear how Cathedral were influenced by them. It's Sabbath's darkest vibe and guitar sound, like on Lord of this World, melted with NWOBHM complex song structure. Nothing like thrash, punk, or spandex metal either. A class of their own!

  • 80's metal or nothing. This guy has a good voice for this. one of a kind voice. I seen these guys in Seattle like 20 some years ago.

  • the part where is slows down for a solo is badass

  • trouble f..king rocks and has since the 80s

  • Wish I didn't understand english 'cause this is pretty good.

  • I fucken love Trouble

  • This song is amazing, not too fond of the christian lyrics but damn... this is a dark song!

  • lol, they aren't a Christian Rock Band...

  • they're a doom metal band. the lyrics, i think, are satirical

  • Sorry my friend but that`s bullshit. Did you ever listen to the albums "Run to the light", "Psalm 9" or "The Skull". Okay, I`m a christ but it doesn`t matter. The point is that they use the lyrics because they are strong or something like that. I guess they don`t wanted to be satirical! I mean, every little thrash metal band`s singing about satan and how evil they are...how boring man! Nobody want`s a evil world and we all wanna live in a relaxed way. Damn chlichees :D

  • I can agree with you there. That's why I love Trouble, but I do believe they are satirical.

  • @NateCola

Okay. It`s just art. Art is discussible so everyone should have his own opinion. Trouble is awesome, that`s all

  • @davidhabel91 Well, I can most certainly agree with that!

  • @davidhabel91 You cuss like a maddog though right?

  • @davidhabel91 yet in its own way it sounds so evil more evil then thrash metal bands talking about satan. it makes me feel good

  • @FunkKlock

    exactly my friend!

  • I saw them open for King Diamond in Allentown PA in 1987. Christian..HELL NO!

  • @drummerdave702

The band members were all Christian..... They said it themselves, it's the focus of some of their lyrics, ie this song, Run to the Light, etc....... Later on they got into "psychedelic doom metal".

  • Ron Holzner played in the "Christian" metal band Place of Skulls and Bruce Franklin played in a Christian band called Generation. Whether you're into religion or not, they were a very underrated band. Good vocals, rhythm, better than todays crap metal.

  • The drummer was and one other was christian that is it

  • such a bad-ass song trouble were way ahead of there time

  • DOOM †††

  • I remember they always used to play Trouble on Rebel Radio 103.1 WVVX in Chicago. Killer stuff!

  • damn here in cleveland i wish i could find a radio station who played old school metal, i have to listen to wncx 98.5clevelands classic atleast it plays some shit i like but the rest radio stations are shit.
