If Russia is able to make carriers for other nations she will start making some for herself. A plan already of proposed 6 more is on the way. I hope keels at least have been laid down and I'm almost certain blueprints already have.

Aircraft carriers are offensive weapons, not defensive. They are imperialistic by nature to carry the fight to other areas away from their home country.

It's no wonder the US is so big in them and most other powers have so few , if any.

@etniks69 Nobody in this country likes corporations or even what the idiots in DC are doing. They're misrepresenting us big time and in fact are only trying to brainwash us but failing. Ever since WW2 we tried to prevent another fascism and found our enemy communism. 40 years we screwed around with them and when Russia threw in the white towel (props to my slav brothers for being the bigger man) we needed another enemy and all the sudden we had no boundaries that Soviets once had us in check.

No US citizen I know since coming here from Russia do I know wants to hurt another man, woman or child in another nation. Meddling in politics affairs is what makes the world hate eachother. In the end we're all human. Wars make people do terrible things and its only been brought to light thanks to media blitz.

Propaganda in the US and Hollywood would want us believe the US won WWII, and that D day, was the day....

The truth is 5 of every 6 German soldiers died at the Russian front.

26 million Russians, mostly civilians, died while only 356 K US soldiers died.

By the time D day came, Russia had already defeated the Germans over and over again, and were rushing to Berlin.

D day was to stop Russia, not Germany. Otherwise France, Italy and Spain would have been part of the east block

My father was a Republican Union leader who became a soldier fighting against fascism in the Spanish civil war.

He was for ever grateful Russia was one of the few countries that helped the DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED SOCIALIST REPUBLIC in Spain, while the US, Britain and France turned their back on them

The Republic lost and Franco assassinated hundreds of thousands after his victory, and went on to have a reign of terror for 40 years supported by the US and the rest of hypocrites

The war wasn't gonna be won or lost in the Pacific Ocean, but in Europe.

If Hitler had defeated the Russians and used their people as slaves and their industry to keep going, as they were doing with the rest of Europe, England would have folded, and the US would have been isolated across the ocean.

I doubt the Germans and Japanese would have had the strength to invade the US immediately, but the outcome would have been very different.

We would be speaking German, not English.

In fact, as the Zimmerman cable showed, Mexico was promised to get back its stolen territory once Germany had won the war and many countries in America would have turned against the US.

Argentina, Paraguay, Brazil simpatized with the Nazis because of the US bullyness in the region.

The US wasn't as strong militarily as it is today.

Things would have been very different.

@etniks69 Oh really how was germany going invade UK the german surface navy was the worse in WW2 no aircraft carriers, no amphibious fleeet, not very large amount of oilers, refuellers, cargon ships, they built 2 WW! design battleships bismarck and tirpitz that were obsolete on drawing boards german cruisers and destroyers were garbage, no way they invade the UK, Slave labor is not good work force a lot of german munitions failed to explode because it was manufactured by slave labor.

Germany didn't have to invade Britain immediately. I said FOLD not invade. With Russia out of the way, all resources could be then used to choke Britain, since it's an island, but this argument is irrelevant.

The fact is Britain is in a very vulnerable position TODAY.

It is sustained by a corrupt, fraudulent make-believe financial system that has become a cancer for the whole world, eating like maggots the decaying economic world body...
