Visually speaking, it is not clear for me how did you joined the wood to the pvc pipe. Was it glued or strapped?

@Erikivester It took about 100 dollars. The only thing that was expensive was the pvc pipe. If you have a surplus plumbing store in your area it wouldnt cost you very much at all.
