  • What happened to the sound for this video?

  • You don't know how to make a PBNNBACN sands.

No more be said, your a big dummy.

  • Elvis made the fried peanut butter, BACON and banana sandwich famous because he like to eat them. In Memphis one day, one of his buddies told him about a place in Las Vegas that served foot-long versions of the sandwich. Elvis loaded his whole gang aboard his private jet plane and flew to Las Vegas -- where the restaurant's owner personally delivered a bunch of the sandwiches to runway. Elvis never got off the plane. They got the sandwiches and flew back to Memphis.

  • Kerry what happend to the sound? i cant hear anything

  • he talk like peter griffin xD

  • kerry ur the shit in a good way

  • kerry ur the shit in a good way

  • I hav4e had a penut butter and banana sandwitch not too long ago. I am wondering, what kind of taste this have when it is fried (mine wasnt fried) but does it make the bread a lil sweeter or what..? I would try it and see what it would taste lik but if i dont like it my mom would flip if i threw it away. I mean i think i might like it but i am not so sure if i would like it. Thanks in advanced :)

  • He forgot the jelly!?

  • great vid and i wonder how he found out thats how elvis liked his sandwhich

  • its famous he had lots of cravings that had articles written about them.

  • Elvis had a very unhealthy diet. That sandwich should have a government health warning .

  • Before you all start joking around, just to advise you all that Kerry K Decker died of a heart attack on 12/9/2009.

    RIP Kerry.

  • @BigJimW10 RIP KERRY

  • with BACON? that's disgusting.

  • now thats a recipe for a heart attack , haha ....looks delectable nonetheless

  • @douchebag21 thats why the king isnt still with us

  • lovely t-shirt!

  • Good job! FYI: I fast forwarded through the impersonations. I was looking for a recipe not comedy, but I TOTALLY think you have a great attitude! :) Thanks

  • so did elvis actually invent this sandwich or what ?

  • I looked back into my notes for this show & it said that he made it "famous"...so it was apparently an old favorite of his since his childhood.

  • Oh Rite Thanks i Was Just wondering :)

Imm defonatly gonna try one day butt without the bacon cos im Vege Lol :D

  • @xoxramboxox no they always served it to him when he was at Memphis bcz that's what he liked the most

  • i usually eat it with a glass of buttermilk. it's a great meal. ha ha. ****

  • I could swear he was gonna put bacon and jam in that sandwich somewhere !

  • i know

youve made me really hungry at half 4 in the morning !!

  • awesome

  • You'd need to get Dynorod out after eatin that lot!

  • lol

  • MMMMMMMM!!! Artery clogging goodness! I want one.

  • I'M COMING OVER !

  • Kerry I like how inventive some of your recipes are. I personally really enjoy Macaroni Cheese but sometimes I get a little bored of it, even though it is really easy to make.

I'm wondering if you can do a new Kerry's Kitchen and come up with an inventive way to make my favourite meal more interesting.

Thanks for all the great tips.

  • Hmmm..let me work on that one. Stay tuned!

  • Great video as always, 5*****

  • He didn't like super chunky peanut butter? shucks!

  • C,mon use common sense. I'm sure his Momma didn't use "A Lot" of anything as they were poor. And it was probably cooked in a Cast Iron skillet, which does make a difference. Not toasted. Basically a grilled cheese but with peanut butter and banana.

  • You've got a few good points. His Momma probably didn't use a lot of ingredients (but TV movies show that she cooked often for him) but it was this elderly lady at Graceland who piled on the food he requested. Also, ain't nothing like a cast iron skillet (often called a "spider") which makes food taste great!

  • just ot put it into perspective, a normal adult should eat less than 10-12g of fat per DAY. hahaha so if you make this sandwhich, you should be in some hefty comfort eating mood haha.

  • Do you know if he used honey on it?

  • According to the Elvis Recipe I used, no. But you can try it if you want.

  • This sandwich sounds interesting, I may give it a try, but I found several variations of the "Elvis" recipe on the web after watching your video. Yours sounds more authentic, but is it as close as the King would have made them? Some recipes call for not mashing the bananas but keeping the slices intact .

  • I believe I used the recipe out of the book "Are You Hungry Tonight?" I have seen variations and they are OK. Coming up is Elvis' "Gold Leaf Loaf Sandwich". A belly buster!! Watch for it soon.

  • Will be looking forward to that new video. I have to say yours is probably more authentic than most. I would also have to assume that Elvis probably had mashed and unmashed banana for his sandwich at any given time. Won't hurt to try both ways. :) And I suggest using your Foreman grill for the bacon fir the sandwich. No fat and it comes out great. :)

  • Thanks. I always use my Forman Grill for my own meals, however...I was trying to cook it the way it was made for him. Back in the day, Elvis loved lots of bacon grease!

  • elvis didnt have bacon on that sandwitch.

  • From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia:

The Elvis sandwich (sometimes simply "The Elvis") is a fried sandwich consisting of peanut butter, bananas, and sometimes bacon. It was supposedly one of Elvis Presley's favorite foods in his final years.

  • you do know you can change things on Wiki, Kids change things on that to make fun of Elvis. He LOVED those sandwitches, he ate them in the 50s cause his mom made them for him

  • there good

  • great video kerry, but its no wonder he passed from a heart attack!

  • i think i saw this on a local cable station once....

  • I made mine without real butter and bacon fat D:...it taste yummy

  • say "allrighty" one more goddamn time!!

  • good goobly-goo!

  • Oh my god Kerry don't eat that.

  • I have to try that now!

    "Elvis has left the building"

  • What did it taste like ?

  • GOOD!!!

    Crunchy, sweet, YUM

    soft, omg...

  • i didnt he put bacon on that one too haha

  • Thanks, Kerry, this sandwich is fantastic! I just made one, and, it's really good, it's now a favorite! Thanks!

  • I know "The King" is looking down from heaven and smiling in approval. He became immortal threw his epic music and a legend because of his Penut butter Banana Bacon sandwich that separates the Men from the Boys!!!

  • ...and as The King would say, "Thank you very much!"

  • God , heart attack time. Only in America

  • You had me in the palm of your hand until you added the bacon. Yuuuuuuuuuuuuk. That would be nasty. To each his own I suppose. I've been hooked on peanut butter sandwiches since my late teens. I like peanut butter, banana and raisins on whole grain bread. Yum, Yum. I enjoyed watching.

  • I hear ya...but this is Elvis' recipe, not mine.

  • yes i agree about the bacon, that wasn't really necessary

  • i just made an elvis sandwich just tat i used jelly instead of bananas oh god!!!! it so delious i think i goin to die of diabetis

  • Hi Kerry, I watched you making your sandwich and I just thought i make one myself. And I did it - I was thinking about you all the time - while I was licking the knife, while matgerine was melting on a frying pan. I wore glasses too. I think you look so sexy in yours.

  • This was so helpful, I was craving something wierd and than I found this video. It is delicious!

  • I tried it once, its nice but really rich, its ok just as a treat every so often :)

  • god i ate then i saw that and it made me hungry again

  • mmmm a gallon of butter!!! thats what im talking about! yummm!!!!

  • it sounds weird but peanut butter and onion sandwich is really good

  • hey Kerry, can you do a video on how to make a fool's gold loaf? elvis style!

  • OMG! You are hilarious! I love you! That was so great! Keep up the funny videos.

  • sir did you have a heart attack, you use a lot of butter? But nice video though

  • I did some Jackson Peanut Butter & Banana Sandwiches today xD

  • I didn't know Don Vito Liked Elvis, or that he could cook. :P

  • Peanut butter and banana sandwich is sooo good

  • just tried it soooooooooo good

  • try peanut butter and dill pickle fried sandwich its awesome

  • that looks wonderfully good

  • ROFL! Heart attack on a plate! Kerry you are a blast!

  • Oh my God! I feel dirty just watching that! It's food porn! I love it! I am soooo going to make that at some point... though I'll be at the gym the very next day!

  • Kerry thanks a lot for next awesome recipe. I love bananas and peanut butter. This is something just for me!!!

  • Thanks Kerry, looks very tasty.

  • Yumm! I just attempted a healthier (although still very fatty) version of this with Soy Bacon, Ezekial bread and fried in loads of Earth Balance (non-hydrogenated vegan butter). It's sooo delicious.

  • According to some recipe (including the one on food network's website), about 1/4 cup of honey should also drizzle honey on top of the banana. What's your opinion of that?

  • Oh the more the merrier! Forget the health risks! My only limit on this is that the sandwich should weigh less than 5 pounds!

  • my grandmother loved elvis but she died from a heart attack 2 years ago....

  • I'm trying it tonight for the first time ever and following your recipe. I'll let you know how it comes out.

  • Thanks & let me know! I followed the recipe that was in an Elvis book. You may want to try a variation. Do what you like best. I want YOU to become the expert in simple recipes!

  • You're a trip Kerry and thank you for posting this video! I had myself a peanut butter and banana sandwich last night without the bacon. I don't mash my bananas with a spoon though. I slice them in half and put them on the bread. I will have to try toasting the bread, adding real butter, adding bacon, and frying the sandwich. It looks really good!

  • peanut butter and cucumber sandwich ummmmm

  • Peanut Butter Banana & BACON sandwich.

    Ownage.

  • Thank you for share your job with the Elvis fans.

  • Hi! I have one question.

What are the red things which are between the banana and the peanut butter?

Great idea to teaching the elvis fans to eat!

  • Bacon

  • you mash with a FORK not a spoon good lord.

  • I always mash with a fork but this recipe stated to use a spoon!

  • You should check out the hour long "Arena" documentry on Elvis' eating habits.

  • fcukin hell.. there's no wonder why he's dead eatin' that fatty crap...

  • EXCELLENT video...the sandwich...well......

  • Excellent video, cool sandwich!! Great work my friend.

  • HY KERRY! I adore the ELVIS! and with this prescription is still better! I adore this series '' Kerry's Kitchen '' I wait to be able to see videos more of this series in briefing ONE I HUG!

    LEONARDO

  • hey kerry whats your secret did you ever mett elvis during your travels

  • No...never met Elvis but have been to Graceland. I will post that video someday.

  • cool

  • Now we know why Elvis was dead by age 42. Eating that everyday would be enough to kill you. It does look like a great sandwich. i gained 5 pounds just watching the video.

  • Hah!! Thanks Kerry!! You're the best!

  • Elvis loves Peanut Butter and Banana!

    Thankyouverymuch!
