A good and simple way to improve to make it even more realistic is to modify Frigates and Caps. Go to "usesFighterAttack" FALSE Change it to TRUE. Also increase the size of the gravity wells. This will give more space for the ships to battle it out. I am not a big fan of all ships just sitting there and pounding away. I would think most captains would maneuver to get best shot. Just like sea battles on planet earth.

Good mod, but the guy needs to get his ships straight. The Venator class star destroyer was from the clone wars, not the Empire

@zenama101 You have a point there but the empire did use the old ships until they built new STAR DESTROYERS!

They still use some of the older ships from the clone wars.

@TheKhive yeah, only the TIE, the star destroyers and the firgates are post-clone war tech, their main cruisers (I belive that they are called tartan cruisers) were there at the beggining of the clone wars, the rebels have the high-tech fighters (even the Y-wings, which were developed durring the clone wars were upgraded by the rebelion and their allies) and the mon calamari make the best war ships in the galaxy and they're on the rebel's side.

long story short: the rebels have the best tech.

Thanks for the recommendation gaelenfade! As a Requiem developer, I'm glad to see awesome videos of the mod. For everyone looking to find the mod, its on our own website, it should be the first thing if you google "starwars requiem" or I have links in my videos. If you have it I recommend you get the Diplomacy version of the mod, it's a lot more polished and has more unique gameplay than in the Entrenchment version.

I like Star wars and RTS but my system had problems with these mod

SO I JUST STICKED WITH THE OLD VERSION OF ORIGINAL WITH THE 3 factions and i have entrenchment and diplomacy but my advise is for player or people these be warned I tryed it and have a gaming computer water cooled and it crashed my system and these is a good video but if your system has too much or too little power DO NOT GET THESE MOD!!!! ITS GOOD MOD BUT IF YOUR SYSTEM CAN NOT HADLE IT DON't GET IT

. I want a MOD that has the Stargate SG1 Anubus giant mothership,Super Star destroyer, Death star, Star Trek Kirk's Enterprise and Borg cube. All of these ships will fight in my empire. :)

@mattyboy7071 the requiem mod for entrenchment has empire and rebels as a faction as well as original factions. Plus has new expanded tech tree for factions.

I have a question! I downloaded the entrenchment and diplomancy thing and its saying before I can install them that I need to register the normal one, of course im away from home atm and away from the actual game box and there is no number to call to ask them for assistance... By chance do you know if the key to the original game is on the box or in one of the booklets because i know I don't have the books anymore and don't feel like buying a new one.... Please answer

@greatgooglyschmoogly just remember you need the "entrenchment" expansion in order to get this mod. If you dont then u can get the other SW mod but it has less ships, tech, and only has playable empire faction with no rebels. The SW "requiem" mod u watched here is muchhhhhhhh better.

Plus: you can still play as the Normal Sins races. This is pretty cool for me because I sometimes Construct a battle in my head between say the TEC and the empire.

i really do share your "Epic" enthusiasm for this game and mod, it is simply phenomenal.

i only found it around 3 weeks ago, but im fully addicted already.

one thing i wanted to ask, you know when the battle commences, all the ships are on vertically on multiple levels, stacked on top of each other, which looks awesome.

for some reason on mine, everything on a flat plane.

is there a way to change the height when you issue an move order? or is it because i have the tactical grid on.

@thespecialkkid yeah there is when u move u can use the move arrow to place it high or low but i rarely use it i just let them go where they will. I cant remember the button but its when you move u see a arrowhead
