  • @evanroskin I'm going up for the same thing tomorrow. I'm 26, but can't wait to start flight training!

  • @Djfreddiettm Hell yeah dude they are amazinng,I took a lesson in a 150 on tuesday.

  • Awesome landing. Really good approach too

  • Great landing!

  • in all of my training (Pvt.) i have never had the stall horn go off on a landing.

  • @modelstatus010 sure

  • @modelstatus010

Why? Pilots throughout the world (even military like my old instructor) expect the stall just before the main wheels touch as a sign of a good landing. This is in light aircraft of course as heavies dont tend to adopt this method (at least not on purpose!).

The stall warner is exactly that - the wing is not stalled but a stall is impending.

  • not a bad landing. My instructor teaches that the stall horn should sound when you are just above the runway. Although it doesnt usually sound as much as this did. but in my opinion, any landing you dont hurt the airplane is a good one. Ive got it downt to where my CFI can be drinking coffee when i land the plane.

  • i thought it's gonna be an accident

  • Loved it! Great video job, and good landing. Looked like fun!

As a pvt. pilot I really enjoyed this video, thank you!

  • ive been doing curcuits for the past 5 lessons, it gets tiring. I sweat alot! i started training last year (im only 15 so im taking it slowly) so i still have a tendency to be a little too high on final, but I always adjust properly.

  • try to point 20 metres before the start of the runway...

  • im excited, i finished my PSTAR and Radio telephone test. I just I have to get a medical then I can go solo

  • @Barisaxlover Dont worry about it. Its better to be too high, than too low ;) My examiner told me something during my pvt. checkride. He said, "Clouds are softer than ground!" Remember that. Good luck with your training. Wish I could have done that at 15!

  • Very nice approach and landing mate! Unlike many who are hissing "too low", I like to see a nice low approach as opposed to a high floating, mid-field landing with all the real-estate behind you while running out with little real-estate in front. As long as you keep it out of the power lines and trees, it's all good mate.

  • Nice flying.

  • Pesimo mal no guud mal men muy bajo tenias q decender mas adelante y mantener 70kts sin tener q aumentar RPM y asiendolo en decenso con 15.000RPM con , 70 kts

  • Final seemed really long, the height was okay but you should of kept a little bit of power in so you could of landed softer without the stall horn. Just my 2 cents. :)

  • actally you're wrong. After you cross the runway numbers, you pull the throttle out all the way then you flare, in which you essentially increase pitch gradually until you gently touch down.

  • I'm a 400+ hour commercial pilot. I know how a thing or two about a thing or two. If you leave a touch of power in kind of like doing a soft field landing you can keep from stalling and slamming into the runway like an imbecile. I rarely ever hear the stall horn when I grease landings.

  • my bad. its just that it is how i learned it. maybe its a cessna thing. but when i land I dont get the stall horn and i can get a pretty smooth landing. But thats cool, commercial pilot . Do you fly for an airline or other company?

  • No, I'm a private pilot and that was one of my first landings, really. Now the stall horn doesn't sound more ... at least I hope . ))

  • ...that was one of my first landings, really. Now the stall horn doesn't sound more ... at least I hope . ))

  • @lionfiretx oh really? your a commercial pilot with only 400+ hours? who do you work for? because here at continental airlines even our commuter (express jet) requires at least 1000+ hours last time i check so next time you lash out at a private pilot trying to learn and perfect his flying skills, why don't you just keep your mouth shut. The older C172's have a tendency to have the stall warning horn come on when you flare because it isn't an electronic barometer. don't pretend to be a pilot!

  • @tank11157 I have a commercial pilot license and am an Instructor. I now have over 500 hours and you don't have to be working for an airline to be a commercial pilot. I consider cargo pilots and instructors more of commercial pilot than bus drivers of the sky. I've flown plenty of older C172's and when I started landing planes the right way instead of the wrong way I never heard the stall warning horn. So you can go fuck yourself.

  • @lionfiretx HA! if you really did have experience on the 172's, you would know that a stall warning horn is a good landing if he was only 2ft above the runway

  • @lionfiretx HA again, let me rephrase, Which Cargo Company do you work for? i have buddies at fedex UPS and kalitta, and I know personally that you need more than 400+ hours to even think about applying at those companys. Buddy you obviously don't like airline pilots so either you tried to become one and nobody would hire you, or you pretend to be one on your computer. Only you know the truth to that one bud!

  • @lionfiretx

You really do need to research your stats before making your comments. Its one thing to need to add power occasionally in a 172 to salvage a landing here and there, but to make it habit will get you killed when you switch to another aircraft. I have a friend that nearly killed me along with himself in a Diamond following exactly what you directed this private pilot above to do. If I had not have been there he would probably be gone along with his little boy. Your wrong this time

  • @lionfiretx ha ok the key word was rarely and it was a good landing big guy give him a break. and just to let you know if you wanna pretend to be a pilot make sure you have the right hours listed.(400+ hour wont even land you a job at kenmoree air flying sea planes)

  • Nice approach and very nice landing too.

  • you look very comforatble...which is good!

  • exelent landing, congrats

  • Thank's my friend...

  • His bedroom is as untidy as mine, but his music is much better.

  • good landing, seemed kind of low on that approach though.

  • Very Nice! But as others said, a little too low.

  • Nice job, but your final looked a little low to me.

  • Complimenti...

  • Good job on landing ...

  • mmmh! Too low on base leg... perhaps the flight instructor, seated to right, slept..

  • Nice landing! The stall buzzer is the sign of a good touchdown.

  • Thank's my friend...and Happy Easter 2007

  • me.. i have about 18 hours and about to go solo this week :- ) but yeah get this sound often just before touch down.. I still go on the C152

  • Great, the c152 truly it is adapted in order to learn to fly, is like a game. You will see that to fly alone it will be beautifull. Good luck and compliments. I hope that a your friend can gives soon a soccer to your back...eh eh

  • lol i hate this stalling sound

  • ..me too, but was one of my first fly...now I'm a great pilot! Eh eh...and you.

  • Sei un gran figo
