  • Poopish

  • End the Fed and defeat the NWO Ron Paul 2012

  • the ass holes that owned our stores sold us out.. it was the worst thing that could have happened most of the people that worked with me worked there for more then 20 years..

  • Good - bring back the local stores. :)

  • I love your vids bro. we need a rally point after martial law is declared, a higher elevation, easily defended location is preferable.

  • Grocery stores shutting down is a pretty severe indicator of economic malaise. It happened here in central TX in 88 after the S&L crisis. We had several grocery stores close within one year. In fact, one Piggly-Wiggley which had been under construction for over a year shut down 3 days after opening. First the furniture stores shut down... then the electronics stores... then the grocery stores. Here we go again.

  • Just wanted to say, Albertsons has been having tons of problems way before this economic shitstorm. I believe Albertsons was split into 2 separate companies and CVS bought the stand-alone Sav-Ons.

  • if they dont agree with there contract , they are closing all there stores in the L A AREA.

  • Dude, the price increases have NOTHING to do with demand or storms or anything.

    IT'S THE FEDERAL RESERVE!!

They are printing money like it is going out of style, and that is lowering the purchasing power of our dollars. What you are describing is inflation due to money printing - pure and simple.

Don't be fooled with silly weather reports and population booms in China and India. All of that is nonsense next to what the Fed is doing.

  • @TheLoyalOfficer

Partially correct, it also has to due with increased demand in (once) 3rd-world countries.

Less farming, more importing, hire prices.

  • This dude's analysis is pretty good.

Keep up the good work, sir.

  • I work for albertsons this company is a joke. They deserve everything they get.

  • I can't believe this is still going on ...Where is this albertsons located exactly??

  • China is heading for a fall too. They have entire cities with new buildings that are 70% vacant. They build for speculation...future profits.

Meanwhile, 100's of millions of unemployed people...worldwide.

  • Walmart is a corporate terrorist!

  • Tight budget? Buy non perishables instead of entertainment and dining out. See how much you can accumulate in just one month. Consider how few of your neighbors are preparing and will come knocking on your door when the dollar collapses!

  • All of these events are being manipulated by the NEw World ORder (International Banking Cartel). It's being done on purpose. Why? They only care about total control; not about you or I.

  • @aivilik AMEN! New World order is TAKING OVER!

  • Albertson's was bought out by SuperValue several years ago. That probably has something to do with the closures.

  • I live in southeast Asia and everyday droves of rich, upper-middle class Chinese tourists parade past the coffee shop I hang out in here.

Americans...you are paying for their designer clothes while you buy all the cheap Walmart crap and making them rich!

If it says "made in China" DON'T BUY IT

  • @missionarymayn another thing to think of is how easy it would be for the chinese to poison americans with all the shit the west imports from there

  • You're so right G4T. Thanks for sharing, all Americans need to hear this.

  • Funny enough, actually good ol Albertsons has now become the master of drinks for me, their deals on simple items and drinks have cut down nearly all my high priced specialty shop transactions.

  • I disagree re Ralphs and Vons, both those stores suck, they are sky hi in prices and low quality items.

Ralphs use to have hi end products 5 years and back.

  • no matter how you put it. is as simple as this. the rich 1% that run the "world" (alluminati, or satanist) create cenarios , probles and solution to manipulate the mases. why to bring us closer into a one world goverment under one rulers. the devil as describe in the book of revalation will provide all solutions to the never ending probles we see now days. The world is getting worst and will not get any better. why?cause the solutions that the antichrist will offer come with the price of ur soul

  • @22rbcarlos AMEN! well said, I'm in total agreement with your comment.

  • this is so depressing to see, many wonderful familys out of work as you can see, what a tragedy. Our poor economy is getting worse, what's happening, the unemployment line is getting bigger and going on reverse. I wouldn't wish this on my worst enemy it feels like a curse. Circuit City, Block Buster and now Albertsons so sad to see. Everyone needs to work , pray for our nation everybody..

  • AND SOUTHERN CALI WOULD STILL VOTE FOR OBAMA

  • not albterson its supervalue

  • Unions are incomparable with free markets. We either close our boarders and become like the old communist USSR or do away with unions. Take your pick

  • NOW that i think about it, THEY WON, the terrorist WON! (who ever they real are) this is EXACTLY what they wanted with 9-11!

  • Proof that the "Middle-class" is rapidly depleting... Gov. plan is working to widen the gap from rich and poor!

  • They're shutting up a lot of shops n bars in London too, ppl say to pull ur money out the banks, massive public cuts going on here too now it's really starting to kick in n show, even though we started preparing for it a few years ago.... it's starting to show n get worse each week.

  • its not food unless its green and leafy

  • Time to stop freaking out and begin to start growing your own food.

  • Walmart is the only chain that you mentioned that i have heard of.We have other small chains here in KY.

  • @scopulus93 the wal marts around here all have empty shelves- i asked the manager and she said they were remodeling. Well, they finished "remodeling" 6 months ago and their shelves are still waaay understocked and 1/2 empty- I have been taking pics to document it for my daughters scrapbook. 2 gas stations closed this week on my street- stores are closing all around- it's becomming a ghost town. somethings up

  • I like Alberson's, they keep their stores clean...

    fresh n easy is dirty

    vons is dirty

    ralphs, it aint bad

really expensive farmer market crap... get your shit straight george.

  • nice advert to bmw in the back,..nice try !

  • Albertson's has been fading for decades. Kroger has moved in in Rocket City.

Grobal warming sure makes for active weather.

  • Hey why's this guy hovering around my new diamond white pearl bmw? anyone know? pst

  • I use to shop at this Riverside location even before it was Albertson's.Back in the 90's it was Lucky's and was always pleased with prices and services. When Albertson's took over the prices were still reasonable and the Luck's employees stayed. One of the reasons I stopped shopping at Albertson's due to the strike they had.As I tried to enter to shop not knowing what was going on the same employee's that Shopped with were actually calling me names and cussing me out for entering the store?

  • its the end of getting food for yourself, soon we will wait in lines for bread, rice and water!?! stock up now and have plenty of food, water guns and ammo!!

  • Uncompetitive store chain closes? This is news? The networks with their

"Foolishness at 6" do better video clips. Man bites dog. Did you see the alien flasher in the background for a second? Now that is news! Sorry you missed it.

  • Food prices aren't spiking because of bad weather, global warming, shortages, more hungry people, or any other lame propaganda coming from the Government. None of these problems have been severe enough to spike prices everywhere on the planet simultaneously. It is the first sign of inflation due to money printing that every central bank in the world has been doing for two years. It always affects food and energy first.

  • Evolve or die.

  • Albertsons is the highest priced market out there. We all get the weekly ads in the mail from Vons, Food For Less, Ralphs and Ablertsons, and Every store has lower prices than Albertsons. So it's no suprise that people shop at other stores. I do, you do, everybody does. Good riddance to Ablertsons! Its there own fault for putting themselfs in this situation. If you can't compete with other markets, then see-ya.

  • Learn to pick your own citrus off the trees. When i was last in L.A. that's what i did. Best damn oranges i ever had. Free. No comparison to those crap florida ones. Americans need to lose weight anyway, just look at yourself George, no offense. So now they can walk a little farther for their food.

  • @DrChikungunya Everyone in manhattan should walk their happy asses to California

  • @DrChikungunya lmfao

  • so much talking so little content.

  • I guess people don't really need to eat anymore......

  • So prices of food are rising but food stores selling at high prices are going broke?

  • "Hey guys hey whats up hey?" Uh...enough of this BS, where is Mikey Socal. Nobody wants to see this garbage until you give Mikey and public apology you owe him.

  • wheres mikeesoocalll

  • Ok George, Good report! Did you every consider the effect of of workings class jobs going over seas or the influcts of illeagle immgraints. Its all killing the working class!

I have lived in a So Cal working class city all my life. There was a Ralphs, Alphabeta, Market Basket, and Safeway back when I was young. Now there all gone. Nothing left but Food for Less and Latino markets! I get really pisst when they ask why I dont speak spanish! I thought this was America! FU!

  • @rudedog062 Dude you need to learn how to spell.

  • @longball3143 Sorry man! I didnt know I was gonna be graded on spelling and grammer! What are you grammer police? Stick to the subject!

  • Groceries stores all over the inland empire are closing? Really? You make it sound as this is a huge issue when in fact it is not. More accurate would be an assessment that the grocery space is too overcrowded in some areas and there are adjustments being made. To me, that means the ones that remain should do better, that's all. With change comes opportunity, always.

  • Albertsons closed years ago in parts of Florida. There's more demand for specialty markets here like Whole Foods and Fresh Market, besides Publix has the major market share here. Albertsons was never even missed.

  • Man, California is screwed.

  • My guess is a WalMart is nearby

Walmart is like a modern-day plantation owner

They keep the unions out so they can pay their workers less than other retailers, so poorly in fact that many are on food stamps & their children are in free lunch programs (we the taxpayer, you could say, are partly paying for their workers)

Some slaves do pay for their health insurance policy which is a joke (slaves in the South in pre CW times got better care & usually weren't kicked to the street if sick)

  • Gottchalks is finally bankrupt.

  • they closed down here years ago.

  • Bottom line...can't compete w/ WalMart.

  • Woe woe woe what was the bad weather in Canada ? this guy has no clue what he is talking about .

  • (H)G4T(Wells)

    -_-

  • If all these fvcking retarded meat-eaters would cut their meat intake in half, then the whole world would have more food and water than it knows what to do with.

Fvck off meat-heads. I'll kick your dumb fvcking ass any day (30 years vegetarian)

  • @SolarShip2010 You are a bigot and a fool. There is no food shortage. it's a distribution issue. If there were a food shortage they wouldn't use corn to make fuel. Your attitude is pathetic and your plan in meaningless. This is all planned. If you have been a veggie eater for 30 years and you are acting like that you still have some growing up to do. Stop communicating like a juvenile and act like a man. Anonymously threatening with violence over the internet is just stupid.

  • @st4ticblu3 What is the % of power used to produce fuel from corn. I think it is much higher than oil, gas, hydro. Not sure about solar.

  • @st4ticblu3 --- If all these retarded meat-eaters would cut their meat intake in half, then the whole world would have more food and water than it knows what to do with.

But a meat-eater, having ate so much meat, their brains have stagnated in a state of sludge, therefore they cannot understand the above statement. The future is vegetarian. The rest of you do not matter to the future.

    From a 30 years vegetarian.

  • @SolarShip2010 Seriously, you just made me hungry for a hamburger. Yum. Thanks.

  • @SolarShip2010 I never met a vegetarian i couldn't kick the shit out of .

  • Thanks George. Scary stuff.

  • Ahahah, nonsense

  • Nothing to worry about, China and Vietnam are starting to provide us with cheap food.

  • Fresh & Easy is awesome. That's where I do my grocery shopping.

  • consolidation...

  • Albertsons closing is no big deal. They closed in the Mid-South & elsewhere 2-3 yrs ago. They just can't compete with lower prices like at Walmart. I believe the only way that Kroger stays open is due to their great specials they have once a week. Otherwise I wouldn't be able to afford shopping there either.

  • Looks like this thing might have a huge rally starting this week.

  • I miss Fresh n Easy markets from Temecula! They don't have them in Florida.

  • G4T, in short u could say : We are in the shithole!

  • W: Albertson's has the best shrimp.

M: They're pimp. Not fishy tasting.

    W: Where's MikeeSoCal?

M: The bottle got him: Fire Water!

W: Ha, ha! Sobriety's a virtue in the new world order.

M: How good is a drunk, slobbering body guard?

W: Not very. He wanted money, angry & drunk, sapped of his fighting spirit.

    M: G4T should've slapped SoCal's precious happy little face.

    W: Mikee's a sitting-duck for dark societal forces with an alcoholic-induced

    diminished consciousness.

  • The Inland Empire is going to shit, get out while you can... In LA Trader Joes and Whole Foods are doing fine

  • Seems like a perfect food storm is brewing. Thanks.

  • Thanks for the Post!

What do you think about the food from Fresh & Easy?

  • @Patriots4Liberty great and cheap

  • @Patriots4Liberty They get alot of their food from the same source as Trader Joes. I like the unpasturized Orange and Grapefruit Juice. Fresh & Easy will actually reduce their prices on Items just before they expire. Trader Joes claims to give Food to chairity but I doubt it, I see it stacked in carts? Greedy

  • @zmelli That's what I was Tinkin. Thanks

  • Albertsons Suck. They almost closed down about 10 years ago too. But kept going from Loans, and someone else bought the company. Frankly I am surprised Albertsons have been around this long. This isn't surprising at all.

  • If you don't serve organic quality meats, eggs and raw milk, its a useless store.

  • Albertson's prices are higher than most other stores in my area and they don't have anything special to offer like Trader Joe's or Whole Foods. There's an Albertson's store about a block from my home but I rarely shop there, I'd rather drive a couple of miles to Smith's (Kroger's) they have the same products at much lower prices.

  • Unions have ruined more businesses, especially these past few years. Every company needs to make a decent profit in order to stay in business and employ people. As the population grows world-wide, the demand for food will increase but the fertile land to grow it is decreasing. Time to learn how to plant a garden and can your food.

  • Albertsons has long since closed in Austin. There were plenty of stores to take it's place. This is more of a company thing.

  • One third of the total corn production going to ethanol is waste, feed the people. Many Albertsons closing here in Colorado too.

  • Albertsons here in Tampa Bay area of Florida sold to Publix about a year and a half ago now...

  • Here in the Netherlands you can order you groceries online from Albert Heijn (AHOLD) and have it delivered free.

They have the best quality .

AHOLD also owns some major supermarkets chains in the USA>

  • Cotton is UP 80% since the beginning of 2010 !!! Wait until that hits the retail stores!! A pair of Levis will be 80 bucks!

  • Albertsons, City Market, and Safeway here in western Colorado

  • walmart food is more expensive than albertsons or ralphs food.

  • This video reminded me of something important, FUCK WALMART!

  • Better kiss and make up with Mikey, you're gonna need to plump up his lil doggie.

  • albertsons Oxnard is gone...we just got a new Super Walmart like a year ago too and its a clusterfuck

  • sick mikey on em *whack* *bam* *sock*

  • I cant stand Food4Less hate going there. I've just discovered Fresh and Easy. Its so cheap and have found some real quality their.

  • thank you for sharing this info

  • Your late on this one T4G they have been closing Albertsons and Raley's Stores in Sacramento for years now WinCo is top dog in Nor Cal

  • I actually quit using my local grocery store much in France, the Franprix, last year. They treat their employees badly, the prices are high and they stopped carrying equitable items (they have some organic still). My spouse took over and goes to the greenmarket, and the Carrefour -- which is the same company as Franprix, but they have a loyalty card and credits. We're spending less on food than we did a year ago. There are always solutions, people -- THINK! Good video, George, will share.

  • @slobomotion I thought everybody in Paris France ate Crossiants and Cappichino's sitting in an outdoor cafe looking like an artist and never cooked at home or is that Rome where people do that?

  • @valhala56 Hee hee hee hee! You should look at my vids! I am CUTECATFAITH and SLOBOMOTION on YouTube, and on Dailymotion, I am "LisaFalour." I have been here 18 years but am from Ohio (Amish-type bg) and NYC (very punk) and am a perpetual tourist here! I could use a new viewer, have a look! (The coffee is terrible in France, BTW!)

  • Albertsons closed down here in Miami, Florida years ago. They just can't compete.

  • We lost our Albertsons a couple of years ago in Cali.

  • Well it is difficult for high end grocery stores to compete with Walmart. There is a Weis market in my area that has 5 self checkout machines and the other section is traditional. At the very least I think we will start to see more and more self service in grocery stores and everywhere you can imagine. Newer more efficient concepts are beginning to come online that will further remove human employees except the person pulling the levers. The economy is shaping companies in this way to compete.

  • Albertsons is owned by supervalue - the parent company announcing the widespread price increases.

  • Wal*Mart uses the mark of Cain as their logo - research it, they are taking over the world

  • I try to avoid walmart and when possible avoid buying goods made in China, although some of their products are decent, it's just that we are losing our country to them and other foreigners. So if possible, I pay more for American, it's hard to find though. Even vegetables, Canada and Mexico.

  • @kenny1309 It's called search engine optimizing.

  • where is mikey so cal....

  • @aceyorba not sure haven't hear from him this weekend

  • @george4title Haven't heard anything about Albertsons closing stores here in Idaho. Which, Albertsons is actually headquartered here in Boise. I'll keep my eyes open, and check this out on my end.

  • @aceyorba He probably at the bar, crying in his beer!

  • I am here in NY and a supermarket called Shoprite is building stores, and taking business from the high end stores like Trader Joe's, and Whole Foods.

  • It's no way people can continue to afford food if they lose their job and prices continue to rise.

  • I remember reading about WholeFoods employees starting off at $13-15/hr.

  • ROBBERS will target grocery stores like they did seven 11's

  • Comment removed

  • Albertsons closed most of its OC stores several years ago. They are just one of many stores run by this chain.

  • I go to Trader Joes for everything but meat, which I buy at Smart and Final. The Ralph's by my house stopped being open 24 hours, though that might be due to theft. Food prices are going to skyrocket because of commodity prices. I shifted from Gold and Silver, to food this month. I just bought about 200lbs of whole oat groats this weekend. There are some great sights that sell survival food in buckets, different sites have different varieties.

  • The big chain stores will hold prices down until they have destroyed the small grocers and other stores... then prices will begin to rocket.

  • All of the Albertson's closed down in Austin a few years back. They were always the highest priced store, it wasn't a surprise. I do miss their awesome coupon deals.

  • Just watching the Mick Jagger Movie "FreeJack" George and it reminded me of you, LOL.

On a lighter note the movie Soylent Green makes me thing of Wallmart, pretty soon the only source of food not from an actual real farm will be Walmart food, all the Carcingens,GMO, Petroleum byproducts made into tasty cheese doodles and Psuedo Box food.

Yeah we are being taxed & slow poisoned by good ol Wall Street, WallStreet, Wallmart-see the connection? LOL

  • Don't forget about Aldi's,they are owned buy Trader Joes

  • @myhideaway08 Actually it is the other way around, Aldi owns Trader Joes

  • Got a new camera guy already?

  • HEY, GEORGE, WAS THAT YOU WALKING AWAY IN THE RED SHIRT AND BLACK PANTS...

  • I wonder why you have Shades on? Did MikeySoCal kick your Filippino Ass?

  • REV 18

  • Fresh & Easy hires primarily part-time 2nds @ that rate. . . Managers get the full time benefited positions. Everyones else is part-time help. My ex-gf works for them.

  • Did you make it to Flagstaff when you visited Az?

  • wheres mikeesocalll at dude

  • @revelationsgeneral Probably drunk somewhere, beating up people.

  • They're not closing down all the Riverside stores, are they? I hope not, I have a large one close to my home and I really like it over other stores. Is the one you were at in the vid on Arlington? I don't go to that one and I was just curious.

  • they are in position now. they will do anything to bust up the unions.

  • One thing I saw here was saffron... it used to be $1.29. They sold out and it wasn't stocked for months. Now it's back at $3.29.

  • WOW!!!! George is getting fatter by the minute... Must be nice staying at home doing nothing except making pointless videos.

  • W: What happened to MikeeSoCal?

M: He got drunk one too many times.

W: Dude needs to put down the bottle of courage and man up to sobriety.

M: Yes. Survival rule #1: don't be a slave to your habits with no job.

W: Yup. Especially when sh*t hits the fan. George slapped SoCal's jowls but good.

M: Yes. Tough love. Slap Mikee's slap happy little cheeks & freshen up his jowls to reality of tough times ahead.

    W: George said, "GTF Out!"

M: Yes. Brutal but effective friendship.

  • Google SVU

"Supervalu was trading close to 18 in April. Now, after falling another 15 percent last week to $7.39, the stock is at its lowest point in nearly a quarter century.

The company, which operates Albertsons, Jewel-Osco, Acme and other chains, also cut its forecast for the year."

    Turn out the lights.

  • good report george!!

  • Ironically, and this comes from the History Channel's 2hr program on the decaying US infrastructure ... if a storm event hits Sacramento and collapses the barrier inland canals ... California would have to live off the water stored in the Central Valley Irrigation System.

  • Thanks George for the video.

  • Chinese consumers are entering the world market for food because much arable farm land in China has been covered with enormous factory parks. They can't feed their population anymore with the arable land that they have like they used to be able to.

  • George Supervalu (operates Albertsons stores in Oregon and Northern California) said they are going to raise prices I believe pretty much across the board, some as high as 14%!

  • George, here in Simi Valley the Ralph's in the Wood Ranch Shopping Center is closing in May 2011. Of course, a new Target store with groceries opened this past October... I think it has killed Ralph's business.

  • Lol I'm not biased, I promise. But Albertsons is the same thing as a Ralphs. Ralph's isn't "high end" compared to Albertsons. It's the same thing.

  • @UDoHaveMyName I have a big Albertsons near me and I like it. I'll take it over any of the other stores in my area. :)

  • The govenment may soon implament price controls in all US goods when the shit hits the fan.

  • THANKS 5*****

  • Nice 3series in the background. it's probably leased or loaned up until 2020.

  • But food and energy are not included when the government calculates inflation so I guess we will be all right then, huh? Since I do the shopping in my home, I have noticed food prices on the rise for the past 3 years. Good food that is, meat, and fresh fruit and vegetables.

  • All my girlfriends and I noticed that the Pathmarks by us were closing.

This girl is stocking up while she can.

Walmrt is implimenting facial recognition sowftware!

  • @SurvivalWithBushcraf Thus, everyone but the dumb-downed sheeple should be boycotting HellMart.
