  • good video. all reasonable. like it big time

  • protect youself from what?

  • And, you know...

  • Hey just wanted to say I really like the video from the stand point of you making it clear to people the repercussions of caring and using a weapon. I think most folks forget that if you do there are consequences being them legal, physical, or psycho-somatic.

  • i normally carry a folding knife for defense, but as a high school student, I spend a lot of times in places where my carry options are limited. for times like those, i always pack my nebo light, glad to see someone else who's discovered it.

  • 0:50 You know what a 'secondary firearm' is for? It is to put in the hand of the unarmed person you murdered. Stop barging about it, you are voiding it's only real use.

inb4; I am die hard, after emptying both my spare magazines, i kill the villain with my last ditch weapon on my ankle after the revealing me all his evil plans.

  • good show, you pointed out options, and gave the rules governing them. Hey all these products are out there, learn if you should use them!!!! great point, gain ground and split.

  • just show off ur little toys. dought u got the heart to hit someone let alone shoot something

  • @tntturner1 Got the "heart" to hit someone or shoot someone? Killing isn't just something you toss around thinking your some heartless slayer. You have to be willing only to kill in the situation where you are going to kill or be killed, at least he is actually showed responsibility for carrying those items. Your comment shows your immaturity as well as your inability to spell. Read your comment before you post it next time and think about how stupid you are.

  • You should have put a petri dish with some random mold on the table and just not made reference too it.

  • The Delta Dart design is actually based on an older style of bayonet that was later outlawed as the triangle design opened up a wound that was near impossible to heal, and bled out very quickly; meaning that a stab with one would most likely prove fatal. Keep that in mind before you stab someone with it. :p

  • Извращенец

  • Killing someone with a screw driver is probably one of the most horrible ways to die. I rather die by a dull blade then by a screw driver.

  • And if you go to a bad school, than you NEED the pocket shark. It's perfectly legal and ok to have at school, but it still gives you self defense capabilities (note that using it to attack someone will likely result in a weapons charge. However, you CAN carry it in school, and use it if someone attacks you)

  • When it comes to firearms, I prefer big guns like a 44 magnum or a .50 cal desert eagle...

because when your piece is THAT big, your chances of HAVING to use it become very slim.

  • any time you rock an ASP and your not a LEO your gonna not make Friend if ya run into PD......last time i carried a Ti Lite i was 16 lol BTW best weapons i always carry 12! two hands and 10 fingers! good info in your vid man!

  • i have a paracord bracelet with a shackle and a carabiner as links it could be used to punch someone but would probably do more damage to my knuckles than a person

  • I think that people fail to understand that these EDC's aren't intended for everyday use. They're intended for use in a situation where if you were unarmed, you'd have no options other than run or get fucked up.

I'd rather carry a folding knife every day for my entire life and never have to use it than to not have it and get stuck in a situation where I need it.

  • Great video, very informative, but yeah. There were around 40+ "you know" in the span of 7 minutes. Other than that, nice work.

  • I appreciate the tone of this video. That is, the narrator urges non-violence. Weapon collecting is an interesting hobby. I wonder what percentage of all these many many products ever get used in a fight? Hopefully very few.

  • Constructive criticism: Try to stop saying "you know" after every sentence.

  • great video

  • How do you find the different laws for Firearms and Blades for the Different States? I've tried googling it but I just get a bunck of forums, I need something a little bit more concrete than everyone's speculation of the the laws are.

  • @trickthemartyr none of that made sense

    cool shitty comment though.

  • Excellent advice. I learned 1st hand that one can be attacked literally anywhere in any neighborhood. I had a 45 pointed at my face in an upper middle class neighborhood several blocks from a police station, and at the end of my own street. I had no protection with me as I felt safe so close to home. Now I don't even go out to get the mail without something on me. Improvisation of anything at ones disposal as a weapon will save you. Always be ready to fight or run with all your speed and power.

  • Hey, wonderingson! Would you be so kind and upload a scan of that state list you've shown at the beginning of the video and send me a link? I'd appreciate it a lot. Thanks for the vid btw.

  • @trickthemartyr I dont carry a role of quarters, you cant use a railroad spike to screw screws, I dont take my eight ball with me in case my family wants to play pool while im gone, I hope this helps with your confusion. Thanks for the input and comment.

  • Great options and gear. Carry whatever you think you need to protect yourself. Better to have it and not need it, than to need it and not have it. As long as you are a law abiding citzen.

  • Awesome video, very informative and responsible.

  • you seem like a very paranoid persone, No offence. Have you ever actualy been in a situation where you needed to go as far as to pull out a knife/gun? im just asking because i live in germany and i have never really been, or known someone who was in such a situation. But hey, maybe its different in america, i dont know.

  • @max465t He is not paranoid...If you lived in our country, you would quickly learn that all the 'bad guys" are armed and dangerous. It is in our Constitutional right to defend ourselves against someone that attacks ourselves, our families and/or our property

  • @max465t it really depends were you live in america

were people might try to hurt you rob you etc.

I'm not sure if their are any bad parts of germany. but surly america

  • I never really had to go into fire arms personally, an easy to draw knife always has done me well, also useful for cutting boxes and stuff.

  • That Cold Steal tie lite (sp?) would be your best bet to get someone to back off, I'd say. Start slashing that around ... .

Regarding people that take it upon themselves to do others, innocent folks, harm: Do that which puts them out of commission ... otherwise they'll just go down the road and do their thang to someone else. Way too many scumbags on the loose, and too many good folks just "taking it."

  • LOL, the screwdriver is an EPIC WIN! Hope those "zombies" are not too commited to run.

  • You must be afraid of your own shadow if you carry all that stuff around.

  • @puchostinkt as i said in the video, these are options to have. I dont carry everything. I carry one thing. its a video on options. read the title.

  • @puchostinkt What does he have to be afraid of? He's carrying that stuff around.

  • @puchostinkt With what he is carrying he probably fears nothing.

  • omg i bling.............

  • good vid

  • im all for edc weapons but 2 guns and a push dagger is overkill. just sayin

  • @sasquatch4liffee the video is called personal defense options. these are different options to consider. not what i carry every day.

  • @wonderingson people these days are so stupid ... can't even read anymore appearantly

  • @sasquatch4liffee

You do know that it is not rare for a gun owner to carry a back up gun. If you run out of rounds and it becomes hand to hand then the punch dagger is actually very nice.

Nice set up you got Wonderingson

  • @sasquatch4liffee Lots of people who EDC weapons carry two pistols, two knives, some sort of non-lethal defensive weapon, some sort of flashlight. rule of two look it up

  • learn preasure points its really good with big guys & no permit needed

  • @lindellshepherd unless the big guys have guns

  • @lindellshepherd Pressure points don't work on every one.

  • @lindellshepherd obviously you have not been in a fight with someone above your weight class. Getting to pressure points, when your attacker is after your blood, is not easy.

  • One of the good EDC videos... very tempered advice... good job

  • Damn man. Your are same!

  • and if you want (this is probably illegal) make a hidden blade as seen in assassins creed.

  • have you ever had to use your firearm against someone before?

  • @jamion192561 no . i pray I never do

  • @wonderingson i always carry a stiletto spring assist pocket knife with me. maily because i was attacked by a dog when i was small and the dog is still around my neighborhood so when i go outside i always carry a rat-tail katana or some sort of knife.

  • @jamion192561 lmao, you carry a katana around outside?

  • @williamhenkel supprisingly yes. just when im in my front yard. if i walk long dinstances i carry a 4inch stiletto style blade(spring assist)

  • Batons are so underestimated as a defensive option. A hit to the knee, shoulder, neck, head or throat are all you need. Also a forward thrust to the solar plexus will do it. Also the psychological effect of just whipping it out is sometimes enough for any aggressor to rethink their action.

Then again: none of the options have an effect on let's say a crazed junkie high on dope.

Apart from a baton I also firmly believe in tazers as a non-lethal option.

  • you do have to watch out carrying a straight screwdriver...law enforcement can consider it a burglary tool...

  • Smart thoughts about carrying weaponry. Aaand cute arsenal=) Guys, psychology sucks when you got your ass kicked in the streets...And by the way, read some history - only slaves were walking around unarmed. Sorry for my bad english.

  • Cool video man. Here in Canada our laws suck, can't carry a gun or a blade with a knife over 3", so I keep my Kershaw storm handy ..decent knife. I think I could get away with a Ti-Lite. Pepper spray, and assisted knife are also illegal in Canuckland (which sucks balls)

  • dude you are baddasssss..... i feel sorry for the guy who trys and mugs you.....

  • is that fucking beast called a tie-lite cold steal 6inch nice very nice

  • How 'bout using some reverse psychology instead? When the attacker gets in your face and is about ready to do something, just quickly reach out for a friendly hand shake and say, "Hi! My names blank! Let's be friends!"

  • ill add some reverse psychology to my edc as well. After all, this video is about options.

  • some good stuff mate, pls dont use the caribena or ul break ur fingers mate seriously.

  • ll i see is cold steel

  • Good job, the more options the better. I like the "craftsman screwdriver defense" option.

  • The screwdriver will work great in a pinch

  • Carabiner as "brass knuckles" -- good idea.

  • That Cold Steel necklace thing... never a good idea. I think the other items would be enough. Necklaces can be used to choke you, though that one may only break. The punching dagger is too small to do anything but scare/piss someone off with; a tactical folder can be more effectively used to attack various arteries, but it's better than nothing. Love the baton, 5-stars there. The screwdriver is just too funny :-)

  • The Cold steel urban pal is a great tool. One punch and a slash to the throat with that thing would do more than just piss someone off. Also the screwdriver can be taken almost anywhere except for an airplane, and its most def better than nothing. These are options. i would never carry all these at once.

  • i agree. Id rather have a neck knife than nothing. Also, where did you get the information on what states you can/cant carry in?

  • You're thinking.

  • guns, push daggers, large folder and a ........ SCREW DRIVER ?

  • Nice video. Insightful :)

  • Nice video, I've trained with expandable batons for a while now, and personally favor them for personal defense. You can cause major damage with them when used right, and you can knock someone out of the fight without killing them.

It's always best to avoid a confrontation if at all possible, but in court a baton looks a hell of alot better than a knife or gun.

  • Nice Video. I should make mention that if in a possible physical situation. The deployment of these weapons do not necessarily commit you to the fight. I have used an ASP several times as an intimidation and deterant. But I do agree on your ability to adjust to the various laws and jurisdictions you enter. Good job.

  • nice screwdriver. i like the flashlight too.
