  • before i tried to give him a facelock my opponent knocked me off cold

  • That looks fucking nasty! Nice video though!

  • I DID THIS TO MY BROTHER AND KILLED HIM I HATE THIS MOVE AND MY SELF lol jokes this is mad and all those comments about I can't turn shit I can't turn that da dumb ass's most of the time in a fight you would have beat em up a bit first and weeknd them a bit so much easier to turn.

  • is this legal in UFC?

  • @Leendoncasti Nope. He repeatedly stated that this is illegal. If you paid any attention, you'd realize that he's teaching you a move on how to incapacitate or kill someone. It's not a choke but it can do damage to your face, head and neck.

  • 02:07 i just can´t get how he can turn the guy like that,i´m trying with friends this and nowone could make the other turn more than a few inches and sometimes nothing

  • @corporacionmonstruo What he doesn't really mention is this would be done in a combat situation where your opponent would already be in motion. You really don't need to do the turn anyways to post the technique. Keep in mind, now you should not be trying this at home as it is a neck breaking technique, very very dangerous.

  • I'm not want to whine but this should only be viewable on a judo site everyone can see thisand there always be idiots who use it and kill/disable someone

  • @Merugaf they won't have the skill and ablility to pull this off....

  • with respect it wd have been good to see it done once from start to finish without stopping

  • We practice this move in catch wrestling. We arent gental with the hold because when you practice every day it dosent hurt anymore. But new members we are carfule. Besided Billy Robinson this guy dose a great job explaining the move. You can get it so much quicker putting the hand on the trap or just crabing your own hand and crank it. Either way a dangerous move that alot of people dont know about. In a match a guy tried to eye poke me and I put this on him. He never did that again!

  • @b7r7u7c7e Get English lessons.

  • this is also called a "grobbit" in catch wrestling

  • @TeamTakeoverHLs Don't mention that vile, rip off gross motor skill BS from the late 1800s, its not a martial art, its instinctive folk fighting. Anyway, he could hit and especially grab and hold on to the groin if it takes to long, particuarly when you are trying to break the neck, so while this move is a great augment to a good strikers abilities, it needs to be done FAST, like less than 5 seconds fast. Further, he can fall to the ground to get out of it, though that can help you too.

  • to complete this move, roll to the ground like a throw and you will break his neck

  • 1:24 cant he punch you in the nuts here with his left hand. and why swing around, what does that do that the original position doesnt

  • Did Aoki send you here?

  • I've done Judo for years and i must say that i really do not like this technique. The amount of pressure it puts on the neck, with so little force is scary. Quite possibly the easiest way to kill someone with your hands.

  • Most of the Judo techniques will do serious damage even death. I just want to say that Judoka learns the control. People, don't try this at home :-)

  • Why at 2min six seconds wouldn't you just knee him in the head ?

  • Comment removed

  • Nice, but your solar plexus is wide open for his left on 0:54

  • Ive noticed alot of people go for the head or spend to much time analyzing weak points and going for the big swing my tactic is if i see my opponent clutch his fist or go for a grab i attack using my left elbow in an upwards motion like an uppercut

  • You will never need to use this lets face it the only time you will need to use lethal force is if you put your self in that position even if your opponent is set on killing you there are ways you can stop him

  • This move leaves you vulnerable to a right (or left hook) also someone who knows grappling can easily pull guard.Additionally what if youre wearing a tank top the other guy can easily slip out.

    There are too many flaws.

My advice: STICK TO THE BASICS!! THese "secret" and "lethal" moves are too complicated and can lure you in a false sense of security when in a position in which your defending yourself.

  • we covered a slightly more violent version of this in my krav maga training... this guy knows his stuff

  • the thing the instructor leaves out is this is pretty much a "finishing" move. even if u don't break his neck he might break it himself from struggling

  • very clearly explained and good safety consciousness from the instructory.

    thanks for posting.

  • Judo removed dangerous moves so they could practice at full speed without killing or injuring each other.BJJ did/does the same thing.Western-Boxing same thing. There is nothing stopping you from learning/practicing the deadly/illegal moves for fighting criminals.

Kano Judo school met all Jujitsu schools and won way back when for Japanese police. The reason is sparring at full speed without the deadly moves is more effective than training controlled sparring with deadly moves.IMO you learn both.

  • I used this neck crank many times as a bouncer.I prefer it by far to the guillotine.I did wear a cup when working. Some people will grab your junk.punching your junk from that position and up-rooted has no power.Against a criminal and not some pissed off drunk you only want to control you can use enough force that a crotch grab will not be practical if your willing to do real damage.Against your drunk friend you don't want to really, hurt watch your junk.

  • Shame judo is just a sport, most of the arts i sport and have lost there edge, and real life is what these are really not sport. not many of us compete so it make sence to practice this for real life unless were attacked.

  • In British Catch wrestling its known as the grobbit.

  • @mattjrich yep got a video demoin this on my channel grobbit ot grovvit :)

  • OMG !! is he Jhon Cena father? there are some ressemblances

  • this is retarded

  • @sikfaka1 how?

  • @TheFounderOfNothing

in my opinion judo was made to be efficient in not just stopping ability but also in keeping from injuring the other person... this might as well be called the neck break

  • @sikfaka1 but again how is it retarded?

  • @TheFounderOfNothing

its pretty much like doing uchi komi of the eye gouge or the nuts kick

  • Why would you train this?

  • i swer for a second before the end of the vid it sounded like he did break his neck lulz

  • cool technique, but hard to pull off. first off, judo techniques from sport being non effective isn't accurate. good judo players throw you fast and you're going to throw off of movement. this neck crank may work on some, but not on a good fighter.

  • @shidopanther

12 years as a bouncer and club manager, i used arm bars chokes take downs

all the the techniques learned during randori in dojo, in close combat judo was the way to go. By the way I lost a judo match to Mr Saylor in 1980 Nats, he was very good

at the take down and control.

  • this move is gona kill your ooki

  • @ph33ric Ukee idiot

  • You kinda look like a way older John Cena.

  • Judo is highly effective.

  • @haircutdeluxe

    and Fedor proved this

  • Like you say in the video, there's a reason this technique is not allowed in competition. The key components that make it work (isolating the neck, controlling the opponent, and being able to apply leverage) are clearly visible and demonstrate a greater potential for permanent damage than your average neck crank. Even in a controlled environment, this move is dangerous.

  • people shouldn't upload videos like this, beacouse some retard will probably attempt it, and fail miserably( break his/hers buddy's neck)

  • what if hes rly short or rly tall?

  • i do this with a circle tow

  • Nice technique. But could get you into legal trouble ?

  • @tommccawley why worry bout legal truble when your life is in danger

  • @tommccawley if you broke a guys neck?

    well, obviously

  • Judo is great but the only problem I have with it is that fights can be one by pin where in bjj it is incourage for you to defend your self off your back. You can do alot of offense in a bjj guard. I think judo stance and take downs with a jui jistsu ground game is the most practical

  • yeah but u have to pass thier guard completely then hold them 4 25 seconds and u can do subs of ur back in the guard

  • @Drobb22

    I totally agree!!

  • this will work unless they knee your nuts

  • dose judo help u on the streets

  • I would say yes. This is why... Judo gives you the ability to control your opponent. It teaches you how to grip people (everyone wears clothes) and i tell you, if you trow someone onto thier back on concrete, the fights over! Plus Judo is practiced at 100% power making it very effective. The chokes, armbars and throws will give you more than enough to end a fight quickly. And there isnt anything in BJJ that isnt taught in JUDO. Ya just gotta find the right Dojo...

  • It seems to me this fellow is teaching Krav Maga

  • Nice Jeans

  • This tech is an excellent way of ending agression extremely quickly in most cases. I have used it personally in law enforcement and nightclub security scenarios with good results. The only thing I would add to this vid which is very well done by by the way is the final way in which its executed. Instead of lifting up on the arms to lock which requires in some cases too much physical force, instead simply lower your wt at hips and pump hips forward while lowering body. Not lifting it. JMO

    GLHF

  • That's the Problem with Martial Arts today. To much competition Judo, karate, Hapkido. This is Old School!! God Dam they don't Show you how to Kick some one in the Nuts Right anymore. Karate is not good in today's world Your not told how to fight street fight Judo Ok its Griping fucking someone on the ground! i know a guy who in his 70's Total Old School in 5 Arts, he has a black belt in 4 Arts, only guy i know that still teach stuff thats banned in Judo and Karate.

  • 0:49 ends the fight, period.

Throw a powerful elbow to the face and its lights out for the enemy. No need for 4:53 of video... it's game over.

  • @CDbythecross not in a judo match, i dont think they're allowed to throw punches, also in the case of cops if they threw an elbow to someone's face that's excessive force

  • That was very well done, and great teaching... thanks for sharing some old school judo.

  • you can reach John at his website. Look up Shingitai jujitsu and john saylor aand it will come up. I have been attending classes for instructors with John and it's great.

OHMARKARKER, This isn't judo that why John calls it Jujitsu.

  • Is that John Saylor?

I haven't seen him since he taught in Colorado Springs.

  • Yes that is John Saylor that taught in Colorado.

  • what judo have to do with htis shit, this aint judo

  • @omarkarkar You're fucking retarded.

  • Thanks Youtube now I know how to choke out my teacher!!

  • haha :D

  • Do the Judo teachers know how to do this?

  • depends on who they are.. non of mine does, because we train sports judo. fx, we don't do Balsami because thats an illigal technique so we dont learn that etc.

  • Can't you just put your left hand by his neck on his trap instead of grabbing his shoulder?

  • @jimi131420 all judo senceis must know this to qualify. The traddition of judo still applies in all books! Judo must still have that move in it. It wont be taught but the instructore will know it

  • @larbo1616 mines did it

  • @larbo1616 mine do, but they used to train military staff, but you can't use such techniques in competitions. They show us this kind of techniques for street use only.

  • Where can you learn these?

  • I would like to get that dvd but I don't know how to write to you

  • i just cant help feeling sorry for the guy who he's doing that to..... lol

  • "(if you like this clip and want to see more then write to me I have the whole DVD).

I have no copyright for this vid. "

or you can just order it from john saylor, the guy who has the copyright.

  • REX KWON DO!

  • OMG I BROKE MY BROTHETS NECK XD

  • cool

  • No DOSU read carefully. Link281B thinks it is illegal if you kill someone while defending yourself.

  • Necessary evil if you ask me.

  • Quit arguing whether or not it is legal. If somebody is trying to kill you go ahead and use this move. No prosecutor in there right mind would put you in jail for using this move in self defense. Trust me. And if you don't live in the states I think I speak for just about everyone when I say jail is better than death. And you probably won't be messed with in jail if you know moves like this. So better take a life then lose yours!

  • No they are talking that is illegal to use in the dojo or in a arena. But on the real life, is ok.

  • Kill them all, let God sort them out!

  • ahh man i feel sometimes we should share our secrets to the western world (sharing asian martial arts to white dudes)

  • lol too bad ppl in america... country i live in... wont giva a flying fuck if u r a dangeous mother fucker in the ring... on the street... you will get shot..haha

  • how can it be illegal if it is for Self Defense? Do you mean illegal for sport? Jeesh! Some of you people act like you have never been in a real fight outside of grade school or competition matches.

  • I know that it is illigal in judo becase theres is a high risk for killig the oponent, and thats not a judokas spirit!

  • What? Who told you that?

  • lol you kiddin? ask a black belt who know the law in judo, he knows that its illigal to stretch the spinal chord in the neck(or what you call it).. i can't explain it well cause i suck at english..

  • Hey guys. You might want to drop Judo, since it is the only "Self Defense" that allows the mugger to kill you, but you can't return the favor. HAW! HAW! HAW!!!

  • "how can it be illegal if it is for Self Defense? Do you mean illegal for sport? Jeesh! Some of you people act like you have never been in a real fight outside of grade school or competition matches."

Your an idiot, all you did was restate what the video said about the technique being illegal for sports. In Real life however; it's also illegal because it'd be attempted murder if they knew that the move can BREAK YOUR NECK. Obviously you don't know about many countries judicial systems.

  • I don't care about other countries, this videos is being broadcast from the US and in the US if someone is trying to kill you you can break their neck.

  • "I don't care about other countries, this videos is being broadcast from the US and in the US if someone is trying to kill you you can break their neck."'

Dude, wrong again you don't know anything about the judicial system just stop making assumptions it makes you look stupid, at least research what your talking about. In self defense "you can be prosecuted for using more force than necessary" Even then there are multiple ramifications that just make me classify it as "illegal".

  • More force than necessary yes, if you want to be specific about any single instance. If that is the only way you can win the argument, then you can have it. ROTFL!!!

  • As a martial artist, I try to keep an open mind when watching these, but unless you completed this VERY quickly, that person could get some serious knees in while you were doing that.

  • Yea i know, if i should use this i would do it in a combination where i fx. where doing some sort of tai sabaki, and when i was take the neck grib i would make a drop.. pretty deadly, but i hope it'll never be used lol x]

    (my english sucks, sorry)

  • I don't think it's going to cause much pain initially, and, therefore, even in practice someone may not tap readily. Be REAL careful with this one guys! I would not practice this w/o a blackbelt or expert present.

  • i hope i got the part in this video where he says never train this deadly technique w/o a black belt or an expert.

  • you need like 25 ft before of these jujitsu types of knife fighters takes you out before your gun is even out

  • dam thats fucken dangerous

  • thank you for sharing this deadly technique with the rest of the world you are now responsible for the incidents occured using this technique

  • ohhh thats nice

  • yah, ill use this if i wanna go to prison for life. other then that, no thanks

  • please post more videos from this dvd

  • Don't buy the hype. Guys like this give true Judo a bad name. I hope the guy I'm fighting acts likea robot and everything goes exacly as I planned.

  • ouch...
