  • After playing with the ninja poi for a few hours, already noticed a few cracks in the case, chipping on the bottom. The next day, I go to play with them again. Perform a fatal butterfly collision, one dies. I emailed home of poi, told them what happened, and they are sending me a replacement! I still have my doubts. My friends that have flowtoys lasted a lot longer, however, you have to smack them to get LED’s to work or they have stopped working all together.

  • @pengy945 I too got a pair of nebula about 6 months ago. They are G2s. But you can check by removing the battery door and there should say G2 next to where the battery goes. That is how you know.

  • And I don't get the name - Ninja. Ninjas are supposed to be dark, and should not be seen... a tiny bit of a contradicting name. Whadup?

  • I would rather support Flowtoys. Ninja poi are just way too similar to Flowlights - and Flowlights were first.

  • When did the G2 come out? I purchased mine maybe 6 months ago in the nebula color scheme.

  • The ninja poi do not stand up to impacts like the flow lights can. I understand that they arnt indestructible, but it was only a half-dozen whacks in a butterfly before one ninja poi stopped working... If they were more durable they would come in 1st hands down due to the massive numbers of color combinations and their case which allows maximum transmission of light.

  • how do you use referral codes on home of poi?

  • i must say, i have a pair of the G2 series flowlights and my buddy has a pair of ninja poi, i was on my 3rd pair of batteries before my friend had to switch to his 2nd set of batteries. i love my flowlights but i would have to give my vote to the ninja poi. although both of his broke, but he was able to repair them by replacing the resistors. HoP please take note that the resistors are a weak point. if that is fixed, then your durability will increase SO much!!!

  • Aftee about 3 weeks one if my ninja poi wont turn on, boo ninjapoi's durability. The casing also has a lot of damage. I just order trick concepts extreme poi, those should kick ass. But I bet the most durable are the ones super bright toys used to sell...

  • In the annotation at 1:00, flowtoys.com is typo'd flotys.com

  • and personally i never thought i'd go to staff, and now i ordered contact flkwstaff with G2 flowlights... So on the long term its a good investment :)

  • So far i heard ninj poi crack real fast. I personally use flowlights over a year. In the bigining i didnt use any crystal and i was suprised of their durability. With the crystal they are unbreakably. HOWEVER, the ninja have more colors. I think when ninjas will get durabilaty it will be time to compare. Now its just too early. And its cool HOP are doing new pois :)

  • Havent shopped for poi in a while but HOP got super expensive since ive last been on. SUPER expensive. like wow I'm baffled..

  • Having now used both sets, Flowtoys have the advantage. A friend of mine recently got a pair of ninja poi, and upon removal from the packaging there were several quality concerns. There was evidence of cracking near the base of the outer o-rings and after a couple of uses the attachment point on the ninja poi was already showing advanced wear.

Keeping in mind that having a modular system with flowtoys, you can expand your abilities with a minimal cost over the long term.

  • these pois are dildos

  • Can't say anything about ninja poi, but my flowtoys are going on well over a year, and that's 3 different pairs, 2 I use and 1 my gf uses. We got them early in our poi spinning careers and we smashed them into eachother a LOT, and no problems so far!

  • i think this is the first video indoors...you belong outside. Maybe i won't order any new poi ;) haha :P

  • Thanks for the review! I have a bunch of G1 Flowlights so I thinks I'll go ahead and get the Ninja Poi for my next addition...but I'm definitely going to invest in some G2s eventually!

  • @weirdness555 - you can send in your G1s and get G2s for half price under Flowtoys warranty :)

  • i love his videos !!!:D

  • I was just planning on ordering the ninja poi actually :D. I had heard of people practicing and learning orbitals and hyperloops on them, which means they can handle a fair amount of cracking against each other.

  • I want to know about the durability, I don't know of Ninja Poi, but Flowlights are too safe about impact...how's about Ninja Poi?!

  • Do the cords come with swivels attached for either pair?

  • @BrotherDaniel1 only if you order from flowtoys. Its a new product for them

  • i like colour choice concept with flowlights. it has character.

  • @thebrillopad it relly dont have character with ninja poi i can express myself better due to the fact im not confined to one set of collors and ninja poi put jus bout every flowlight color in there exept for soul cause soul is bland

  • Used NinjaPoi, own g1 flowtoy's. I like flowtoys more crystal case for my warps...NinjaPoi are just ackward to me...but other then that I find them very equal. I just wish FlowToy upgrade the battery to AA :/

  • A spinning demo would have been nice.

  • Getting some Gen2's soon.

Since I already have a bunch of Gen1's and staves, Gen2 is the way to go.

But this was still informative, thank you
