Aw, this is so *cute*! Yeah, Sherlock's got issues. He's arrogant, insensitive, pushy, and often childish. But somehow John sees past all that and accepts him for who he is...while still not putting up with more of his BS than is necessary.

I don't know if you intended it to work this way, but I intrepret this song as an upbeat tribute to the fact that Sherlock and John's shortcomings and fears are simply part of who they are, and contribute to the brilliance of the story. 0:40 to 0:43 is the part that I like the most in this video: John realizes that Sherlock once took drugs and Sherlock is unapologetic, and John is troubled by PTSD, but, as the song says, they aren't drowning. They are both men capable of dealing with life.
