  • Shock of god screens his replies.... How many different ways can you display lack of confidence in your "beliefs"?

  • Saying anything about shock of god is just feeding the troll. The guys obviously suffering from narcissistic personality disorder and doesn't even care if people can demolish his logic, what other people say just doesn't matter to him

  • ShockOfGod is a selective pressure on YouTube, I think he is immensely valuable.

He is like the cheetah of youtube, the faster the cheetah becomes, the faster the gazelle becomes. The more shockofgod does, the more atheists there are.

  • How does Neph know that any Hittite ruins wereof the same date as when the Bible mentioned them? After all Creationists don't have any scientific dating methods.

  • shock is a pwned poser afraid of truth.

  • 2:36 many people did amazing responses actually.

  • Just wanna make this clear:

I don't wanna be called an atheist because I don't believe in this ************* called god.

I mean it's the same thing if I would say,

If you don't believe in unicorns you're an umblapapapapapapapapa

I mean you don't wanna be called an umblapapapapapapapapa just because you don't believe in unicorns right?

So take you're stupid god with you to hell

(xD that last sentence was quite wrong xD)

  • @Kaddaemon

"that the Atheist writes their veiw points down in a book and keeps their "lack of a belief in the existence of God" to themselves"

what kind of nonsense is this? and would you REALLY stick to this definition when it is so far off of the actual definition, i am almost convinced you must have gone to a joke page or something? an atheist is simply one who does not believe in 'gods'...PERIOD. no book is involved, just belief, or lack thereof.

do you believe everything you read?

  • @Kaddaemon

and especially when we KNOW religion is the topic. i believe that EVERY professed atheist/agnostic NEEDS to profess their beliefs. even if it is just to state that you are a non-believer. this will inspire many who have chosen to remain 'in the closet' as it were to 'come out'. and the more that feel comfortable about admitting their non-belief, the better for themselves, all humanity, and this planet in general.

it is well past time to take this world and sanity back.

  • @dboydustin I am unaware of any atheist that says that every single last thing in the bible is false just that the historically accurate parts do not make the mythical parts accurate.

For example Homers Illiad has allot of places, names and perhaps battles that are historically accurate but this does not mean that the Olympian gods that make regular appearances are actually real.

My point was that apparently Nephie did not know that the Hittites are well established in the historical record.

  • @flammamancer There are now. The way you were saying it was like they had known this information forever. The bible has the animals in it, that you see today. The bible has the food, that you see today. The only thing that has really changed is the technology, people act the same and do the same things.

  • @flammamancer Allot..... Lol you're an idiot. What are you allotting?

  • @dboydustin The whole point of "My hobby is not collecting stamps"? is to illustrate an absurdity. You got it completely backward. Who indeed? That went right over your head.

  • @newcoyote That it did, because atheist can't get their facts straight doesn't mean they need to hold the rest of the world back. If you don't believe in the history then why read a history book? All those dates that they have are not really known to historians because they weren't there hence the term "circa" on some photos and such. We can believe that, but then when the bible mentions those things then it was just one big elaborate story that used real places. Get a life.

  • @dboydustin History books and their content can be independently verified and do not make supernatural claims. Their claims can be tested and/or falsified. Because a place exists does not however make the stories that took place there true. New York is real. Is Spiderman? Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Atheists are holding the word back? Are you serious? We are trying to free it from the chains of superstition.

  • @newcoyote If the dates could be verified for sure then "circa" wouldn't be needed. No spiderman wouldn't be real starting with the fact that he is a HUMAN shooting webs out of his wrist. Nice story, but it can't happen. Why? Because he's a human. You ought to pity yourself for being limited to your visual perception. I don't think you've ever seen God work, that's why you're talking like that right now.

  • @newcoyote (con't) I know science is supposed to be the methodical exploration of the earth, and a logical explanation of how it works. However, if you tell me that the earth began 4.6 billion years ago then tell me that we aren't sure what was there then you need to sit down. How do you know that it began that way if you can't confirm it? That's what I'm saying. We have all these dates because of carbon, but that is only accurate up to a certain degree. We go off believing scientific principles

  • @newcoyote (con't)that are dead wrong, then we find that out a hundred years later. Aristotle shows up making claims that are way off in left field, oh but he's the great philosopher. Then we find out it's all in his dreams. I applaud you ridding the world of superstitions, but you would probably need to start with those scientific theory, hypotheses, and laws that claim to be right. Those principles that people willingly accept with a lack of concrete, coherent, or inferential evidence.

  • @dboydustin So basically what you're saying is that as long as a book has names of places that exist in reality, that validates all the claims/events of that book?

I've read plenty of fictional books that have reference to real places, does that make them real? Even the newest movie version of "Dawn of the Dead" has reference to Milwaukee and Fort Pastor, which are real places. Does that mean the zombie apocalypse really happened? Where does the bible gain exception from that?

  • @berner It doesn't make the event real, no, but saying NOTHING in the bible is true is my point. Saying that it's this horrible book that condones slavery and blah blah blah means that whoever said that has no understanding of the bible.

  • @dboydustin How do we get so far from: Atheists don't believe that gods exist because there is no evidence to justify it. And thank you Schlockofgod, for not being an atheist anymore. You should get someone with some literary talent to rewrite the bible... You can edit the obvious errors , Get JC's birthplace correct . Make the earth round, Take out some nasty parts, etc. Make it reader friendly. It is extremely tedious in it's present form.

  • @wondergundy Forgive me, but I'm not sure if you were you trying to reply to my comment? If so, what is it that you are asking?

  • @dboydustin Just bible bashing. Creative critique if you will. I thought since you could write, you could read and comprehend too. Just comment , No question.

  • (Part 2)

And about your last statement what you may not realize is that just because someone does not walk up to you and tell you that they are an atheist does not mean that they are something else.

In my normal life nobody asks about it and I never make it a conversation piece and it would not surprise me if people thought that because of my lifestyle that I was religious.

If at the lowball 6% of Americans are atheists do you really see 6% of the population talking about being an atheist?

  • @Kaddaemon Your first question does not make much sense because my video is more about Creationist stupidity rather than just atheism in general.

For the second question I do not believe that a god exists in any of the forms that any of the religions hold "if" in fact there is one.

Your second statement sounds odd because Atheist are just none believers and says nothing about whether they are outspoken about it or not.

  • @flammamancer, Archaeologists living before the 18th century had doubts concerning the existence of the hittites. I think Nephilimfree was saying that archaeologists and biblical critics living before the 18th century didn't believe in the biblical record's account of the existence of the hittites, because there was insufficient archaeological evidence to affirm their existence. If you would have read the entire Wikipedia article, you would agree.

  • @Nashhinton Sorry, but Wikipedia is not a good source.

  • @atheistram, Actually Wikipedia is a very unbiased and neutral source. It's not as accurate as other encyclopedias, but it's fairly accurate.

  • @atheistram Wikipedia is a good source. Do you know that regular encyclopedia books are made just the same way and you don't have any information if the said thing is right or wrong. What's worse these books are made by less people who can't possibly know everything or if everything they know is correct to that matter. Wikipedia is actually a very good source to get correct information.

  • Shockofgod isn't only full of crap, he also has been caught trying to steal passwords. I wouldn't be calling him a xian. More like a con-artist. He uses his bullshit to rip off people. He doesn't have a leg to stand on.

  • nephilimfree is such a clown. i really wonder who makes up all that "scientific" information he spews.

  • @shockofgod no im notdarktheatheist, i dont have a camera or a microphone to answer to your videos, i wish i had, still as we both know that and that your not gonna let this comment be published either and just posted this to let your sad followers trash talk me, im screenshooting all this "missing" comments to prove youre just a coward censor(sp?) that alterates what people say to look good

still havent proven Annie Lucy doest exist! ;)

oh! and thanks for blocking me! just proves my point!!

  • @Lievcocijo Shockofgod is just a fucking pussy. He threw a fit at me because he said in a video, he challenged anyone to read the bible and not believe in god. I told him I did and I don't believe in his god. He then called me a satanist. Pretty damn weak.

  • @Boudiga yeah i just hope those who worship see that... as aldo the fact that as a youtuber with own material and a lot of suscribers hes actually getting PAID to do that

that puts him at the same level as Ron Hubbard

  • @Boudiga

yes, and then he blocks you/me. it is a fact, most theists are cowards, ESPECIALLY from the truth. their ONLY strength is in numbers, which thank god (pardon the expression) are declining by the day.

  • u make a good point :)

  • Atheism? A beliefe? wow....than that means a glass of milk is a cow.....lol

  • If ShockofGod watched the Bible's Buried Secrets especially this video, he and other Christians would question how valid their beliefs really are.

    watch?v=kL-F_MkDyDI&feature=related

  • @HybridD91

To be fair, the archaeological evidence is very weak that made them come to that conclusion. They used radiocarbon dating on olive seeds found NEAR the pottery pieces. Radioactive dating methods are used with dinosaur fossils by using this dating method on rocks found NEAR the dinosaur fossils. This is not accepted by many authorities as valid, as radiometric dating is based upon controversial assumptions held to be erroneous by many scholars, as indicated by empirical research.

  • @SporkFire The archaeology also proved Israel did have a kingdom once and that series did admit the radioCARBON dating wasn't very helpful and didn't rely to heavily on that. Scholars, such as? Scientists? Scientists accept radiodating methods because one, it shows to be accurate over multiple tests, not just one. If one wants to say radioactive dating isn't valid then one should deny Nagaski and Hiroshima because scientist know nothing about atoms. Atoms are involved with radioative dating.

  • Does ShockofGod dumbass not understand that the Canaanites God was really stronger and above Yahweh? Guess he doesn't know Judaism and their polytheistic roots.

  • @HybridD91 Or should I say one of the Canaanite's God.

  • Someone should call in and ask Shock if he's still beating his wife.

  • What is sky? How does eat?

  • @juplai I, as an atheist, don't believe there is a god which is not the same as believing there is no god, I only believe based on evidence as there is no evidence for or against I can not believe one or the other I can only not accept (not believe) other peoples claim of a god The one and only God or multiple gods

And thus atheism is not a believe

  • @Toudiyama ok, so your under what is defined as agnostic, atheism is defined as a belief. athiest–noun a person who denies or disbelieves the existence of a supreme being or beings. agnostic-–noun a person who holds that the existence of the ultimate cause, as god, and the essential nature of things are unknown and unknowable, or that human knowledge is limited to experience. this video was on the topic of atheism, move to the back of the class

  • @juplai I'm an atheist agnostic - the two are not mutually exclusive. Atheism pertains to belief, and agnosticism pertains to knowledge (you can be an theist agnostic, or even an theist gnostic).

  • @juplai if you are convinced that being an atheist is someone that "believes" there is no god then what would you call someone who simply lacks faith that there is a god?

I really do not understand how you are suppose to start believing something just because you do not believe something else, for example just because I do not believe in the teapot orbiting the sun does not necessarily mean that I believe there is nothing orbiting the sun.

  • @flammamancer your argument was covered in the answer to toudiyama, and if you didnt care what others thought, you probably wouldnt have responded directly to someone. Theist Atheist Agnostic it's funny how the argument still doesnt answer what is here that has never been here before. Was the egg first, or The Chicken? Was the tea pot here first, or was it made of prior substance?

  • @flammamancer

If you're an atheist you believe in evolution-ism which uses the same evidence creation-ism uses (historical theories). Many atheist claim evolution actually uses operational theories because they believe micro-evolution leads to macro-evolution, which isn't true. If you have no thoughts on the matter and are simply not accepting God because of the lack of evidence then you are agnostic NOT atheist. Atheists reject God, it doesn't matter why as that is not important.

  • @SporkFire You have so many misconceptions about atheism I barely know where to begin. First of all, and most importantly, atheism is simply a lack of belief a god. That's it. Theists = belief in a god, atheists = lack of belief in a god. Very simple. Gnostic and agnostic refer to what a person knows or doesn't know. Second, atheism doesn't presuppose someone to believe whether or not evolution is true. There are many theistic people who believe in evolution. They're not mutually exclusive

  • @flammamancer

but neph said "25 yrs ago"

  • @juplai It's still a disbelief, doesn't matter how you word. A-without; theism-belief in God. What do you people not understand? Without a belief in God.

  • @juplai

Not all atheists believe t hat there is no god. Not believing something is not a belief. Sad that so many theists are unable to understand this.

  • @juplai sorry atheism isn't a belief it's just a lack of a belief, but now you know

  • @juplai lol your loaded question theory what you say is actually a retorical question not a loaded one.

  • @juplai Actually a loaded question in this case would be 'Why did you eat the cake on the table?' without first establishing that the child had eaten the cake at all.

  • @juplai Or a better version of the question would be 'Did the cake on the table taste good?' It is a question that assumes something without establishing it first.

  • Not only is it a loaded question. It's also based on the fallacy of burden shifting. If one would suppose that atheism is a lack of belief based on a lack of evidence, to prove it would be to prove a negative. Whereas the belief in god or particularly a specific god, is a positive belief which in order to be accurate, requires positive evidence. Shockofgod does not have this evidence, and so he like so many other creationists turn to this tactic of demanding evidence from his opposition.

  • Shockofdoouche's question can be answered like this:

There is NO proof or evidence of things not existing. There is no proof or evidence of not-stamp collecting or not playing tennis. Atheism is the non-belief in deities, it is not a belief & is not a religion. I think you nailed it and this video should be rated higher. Shockofdouche is his new nickname. Nephilimfree is a geo-centrist. He thinks the earth is immobile and the universe revolves around it. You can t be more retarded...game over

  • You should see my shockofgod video!

  • Maybe im just paranoid, but the flood of "Propecia" spam I've been receiving in my personal inbox makes me think shockofgod is a vengeful fundamentalist christian. Has anyone else been spammed by him?

  • I was invited to friendship, I PMed him back asking why he wants to become friend with an atheist....never reveived a reply to that

  • He does that to as many people as possible.

Logic suggest that its so a link to his channel is spread across the internet.

  • @flammamancer I just ignored it, i'm tired of I'm-right-because-the-bible-says-so argument. Very typical idiot indeed.

  • @flammamancer

Its actually so he can get access to your video stream and "keep tabs" on atheists....

  • @Toudiyama ditto I just got one of Shock of god ditto with the PM and again ditto with the lack of response.

  • @Toudiyama Hmm this just happened to me as well.

  • @Toudiyama He did added me as a youtube friend, i saw his videos, and i politely said my view on the subject and the two awnsers i got from him were "Evolution is gay" and "Atheism is gay too" . He has no respect and doesn't deserves such.

  • @Toudiyama why would he become a friend with an athiest, JESUS stayed in the company of the unsaved, not in the company of the rich, elite, the upright, the creme de le crop, his mission is written in scripture, to be salt and light to the world so that all who hear, will know the truth, you can choose light or dark, its up to you,

  • better way of putting it......its like asking what color a bald mans hair is....

  • Hmm? so by nephs reasoning since Newyork is a real place Spiderman must be a real person

  • Shockofgod is pathetic.

  • Kewl

  • Starting of nice about his loaded question. However, you fell for another one of his debating tricks, the red herring.

Whether the Hittites existed or not is totally besides the question whether god believes or not. Even if all atheists were proven completely wrong and did indeed state that they didn't exist, then so what? Nothing turns on it.

  • "god believes or not" doh, I mean "god exists or not" I need some coffee lol.

  • I understand that it does not prove god exists its just that I have seen Nephilimfree claim to be some sort of smart guy and I wanted to point out that there is a big hole in his knowledge of ancient history (and well a big hole in his brain for that matter) that would have sent any real intellectual claiming such knowledge of history out the door.

But yea I can see someone trailing off the second part of the video while ignoring the first part.

  • I do think it's important to catch them either in a lie or in extremely poor research. Not so much because it invalidates their faith but it does help to invalid themselves as credible and honest.

  • Very good and clear video my friend.

  • Shockofgod is a powerful impetus for the thousands of youth abandoning christianity. I personally feel he should be encouraged to continue with his arrogant one-sided approach.

  • @philstilwell I've never seen it like that, that is quite the good idea. On the other hand however, that would allow him to continue making his AIDS-infested videos.
