Great vid. Never saw that game before, just remember magazine adds. I'm sure I enjoyed watching it more than you did playing it. I didn't think you did badly at the game all.
I'm actually a bit impressed that someone pulled off parallax scrolling on the Electron. Although you can tell it's eating up most of the processor time.
Heh.. yeah. I don't think movie licences cost all that much back then, to be honest. The market was still very much making it up as it went along, so there were no multi-million dollar deals.
No doubt the publisher crammed shoddy ports onto every system out there too, to be sure they got their money back.
What colour SHOULD Arnie be? Magenta?? That's the problem with only eight colours.
The Commodore 64 has a good flesh tone colour, but for that machine's version of Bruce Lee they decided to go with the YELLOW colour - stereotype or WHAT?
Hahahahaha "too much time in the sun bed". Best ever! Who on earth made THAT mistake! It looks pretty advanced for it's time though, but I think even a Sega Master System version would be more fun. Good vid!
No late night stuff for the time being, as I'm mostly in bed at night these days.
However, I've completed recording the last few Electron games in my collection, so as soon as those are uploaded, I'll be moving on to a different system.
LOL! Best excuse for a lack of reflexes I've ever heard! XD
Do you have any more text adventure games? It'd be really nice to watch a few more because they really do lend themselves to potentially funny videos! :D
As for this game: yeah, too slow paced to ever be that fun, probably.
Oh, and what's with all the rated videos in the subscription section being 0.5 stars? It's been like that for a couple of days now, thought they'd have fixed that by now.
I have another text adventure video recorded and ready to go. Probably isn't as good as the last one, but it was the best I could do in a "mornings suck and my brain doesn't work" kind of way. It should be up tomorrowish.
Star ratings seem to be up to youtube's usual quality control standards ;)
Hehe man, enthusiastic as usual. Looks sort of technically interesting, but as you said, It doesn't look fun. Sort of reminds me of the NES game Cheetahmen.

Any chance of some ds, gameboy or other late night handheld reviews?
Hope all is well with you. x
