I can relate. I unfortunately didn't get to meet him, but his personality had such an impact on people. I have never come across anyone who has ever had a bad thing to say about the guy. He was the first KISS drummer I got to see in concert and that HITS concert is still my favorite to this day!

He is a human rhythmic calculator, can play any style, is as nice a person as Eric Carr was, and still holds bpm speed record. 3:30 is where it starts getting good. Eric basically played the same drum solo for years. I love the use of the electric pads in this solo. He was doing this before folks started adding it to their solos. Not a technical master by any means, but Eric was an excellent rock drummer, and by far KISS' best drummer! RIP

Peter was classic KISS and helped make them one of the biggest bands ever! He is to KISS what Phil Rudd is to AC/DC.

Eric Carr, extremely talented, helped bring energy and drive to the band which was needed at a time when they were trying to sound heavier during the early 80's.

Eric Singer doesn't really fit the same I agree but he's good. A lot of people criticize him now for wearing Peter's makeup and all but you can't blame the guy for taking the best job he'll ever get.
