I personally believe that while global warming is happening we didn't cause it. The Earth goes through hot and cold cycles all the time, and perhaps the earth is just transitioning back to a hot phase.
I do believe that we should do all we can to help the environment and stop pollution though.

In parts of the beginning, the earth was relatively temperate. Then, it started heating up. By the age of dinosaurs, the average heat wave hovered around 120 degrees F. Then, before they could burn to death, a meteor came and caused such dramatic climate changes that wiped them out and caused the Ice Age, thus giving the world more time to heat itself back up. Humans only sped up this process. Let's hope the next meteor gets here on time...

A lot of people seem to forget our sun can change the course of the earth's temperatures by a small fraction. Sure, our CO2 is increasing but there's a good reason for that: Trees and population. Here's the thing. Suppose the naysayers are right. Since they can't agree with each other either, I'm specifically talking about the ones that say the warming is natural, and not man-made, and has happened "before we took our first shit." Well, back then, we weren't so dependent on agriculture, cross-continental commerce, electricity, flight, ... lots of things that are pretty fragile against large scale changes in weather trends. No, they renamed it Climate Change because even if the average temperature of the planet goes up, some regions may experience a decrease in temperature. They also renamed it because every time there was a big snow storm somewhere (ANYWHERE), people who didn't understand anything about what "climate" is would say, "haha, so much for global warming." PS dude the only change is global warming and cooling have always been here. If you look at the entire GISP ice core temperature data it does shows the norm is drastic temperature change as much as 2.5 degrees C in less than 200 years. For example it shows 1 degree C higher 1000 yrs ago, 2 degree C higher 2000 yrs ago and 3 degree C higher 3300 yrs ago with many ups and downs in between. Note the polar bears are still here and the earth did not flood.
What is important is to look at the believers current global warming theory. Fact is an increase of a few 100 ppm CO2 has a no effect on temp in the lab, none! You need to increase CO2 to about 200,000 ppm in the lab to see a 3 deg C change. Well the Global warming nuts then say the lab is not fair because CO2 is 50,000 feet of atmosphere. So there are some theories based on an idea of layers and reflection that in 50,000 feet tries to prove a 100ppm increase..
There's no laboratory in the world that can come close to the complexity of the global climate. The only way to model the climate is with accurate instrumentation from around the planet for a long period of time. Thanks to political/sovereignty issues, it's very difficult to get accurate climate measurements in some parts of the world. So there's a lot of extrapolation and guesswork to try to fill in those blanks, which results in a less useful model.
Right, the only proof the IPCC offers is a unproven theory layers in 50,000 feet of atmosphere has reflection raising the temp maybe a few tenths of 1 degree F from a 100 ppm increase in CO2, then the models claim there is an amplyfing effect over time, for example more snow melts from a few tenths increase causing more dark land causing more warming, etc or a positive loopback.

Well a few tenths of a degree F is an insignificant increase much less proof of man made global warming so the nuts have another trick by saying well CO2 has an amplifying effect over time from this small increase in temp and then they rely on flawed global warming models which are grossly positive lookback biased that are programmed to show an amplifying effect from a small amount of CO2, go figure.
This is their theory, what the models are built to do and there only proof of man made global warming rests in these models. This is why these emails are so telling and disturbing to the believers as these models are failing to predict from one yr to the next much less 100s of years down the line. This is their theory and proof, these incomplete models. This is very important to understand.

I'm sorry, it's been warmer, a lot warmer, before on this planet, long before we ever took our first shit. These scientist's own ice core samples have proven that. Look up Pacific Decadal Oscillation, it explains better than I can the natural cycle of cooling and warming over hundreds of years.

I don't believe in Global warming, but I do believe in conservation efforts like what he concluded. I don't believe in global warming because all throughout December the temperature outside my house did not exceed 10 degrees, all damned month. it's February and finally I see teen digits. like I said there is no reason we shouldn't find ways to reduce our waste and preserve our forests but if we are wrong, and there is no global warming then the other end of the spectrum will kill us off.

Well, seeing as every friggin' plant recycles Carbon Dioxide, I wouldn't say we're doomed.
Why? `Cause due to Earth being covered 3/4 with water, there's a ton of aquatic plants like seaweed doing the good work where nobody's going to harvest them extensively- a few hundred feet to the sandy bottom of the ocean.
So, therefore, we're not exactly screwed, if not for the fact that the main "greenhouse gas" is H2O. As in water. Which naturally evaporates.

@Renamedsin Well, Global warming means the earth is growing hotter. But ever since 2005, the earth's not been as hotter as it was 'til then. A lot of people seem to forget our sun can change the course of the earth's temperatures by a small fraction. Sure, our CO2 is increasing but there's a good reason for that: Trees and population. We have over 7 billion people breathing out more CO2 than trees alone can convert, especially around large metropolitan cities where hardly any tree is found.

Here's the thing. Suppose the naysayers are right. Since they can't agree with each other either, I'm specifically talking about the ones that say the warming is natural, and not man-made, and has happened "before we took our first shit." No, they renamed it Climate Change because even if the average temperature of the planet goes up, some regions may experience a decrease in temperature. They also renamed it because every time there was a big snow storm somewhere (ANYWHERE), people who didn't understand anything about what "climate" is would say, "haha, so much for global warming." As if one incident was somehow proof or disproof of decades/centuries of climate trends.

I'm not talking about "one snowfall" I'm talking about the last 12 years that have gotten cooler which contradicts the claim that billions of tons of co2 in the atmosphere causes the Earth to heat up. This is probably one of the few things where i disagree with 2. Considering that volcanic eruptions chuch out more carbon dioxide and worse greenhouse gasses than mankind has produced in its entire history, it is hard to imagine that we are having such a drastic effect as some would lead you to believe. Environmentalisim is an industry now, and has taxes.. go figure. Not to mention that our planet is still in the ass end of an ice age and heating up naturally anyway.

PS dude the only change is global warming and cooling have always been here. If you look at the entire GISP ice core temperature data it does shows the norm is drastic temperature change as much as 2.5 degrees C in less than 200 years. For example it shows 1 degree C higher 1000 yrs ago, 2 degree C higher 2000 yrs ago and 3 degree C higher 3300 yrs ago with many ups and downs in between. Note the polar bears are still here and the earth did not flood.

What is important is to look at the believers current global warming theory. Fact is an increase of a few 100 ppm CO2 has a no effect on temp in the lab, none! You need to increase CO2 to about 200,000 ppm in the lab to see a 3 deg C change. Well the Global warming nuts then say the lab is not fair because CO2 is 50,000 feet of atmosphere. So there are some theories based on an idea of layers and reflection that in 50,000 feet tries to prove a 100ppm increase..

There's no laboratory in the world that can come close to the complexity of the global climate. The only way to model the climate is with accurate instrumentation from around the planet for a long period of time. Thanks to political/sovereignty issues, it's very difficult to get accurate climate measurements in some parts of the world. So there's a lot of extrapolation and guesswork to try to fill in those blanks, which results in a less useful model.

Right, the only proof the IPCC offers is a unproven theory layers in 50,000 feet of atmosphere has reflection raising the temp maybe a few tenths of 1 degree F from a 100 ppm increase in CO2, then the models claim there is an amplyfing effect over time, for example more snow melts from a few tenths increase causing more dark land causing more warming, etc or a positive loopback.

in CO2 increase temp a few tenths of 1 deg F (not proven). Well a few tenths of a degree F is an insignificant increase much less proof of man made global warming so the nuts have another trick by saying well CO2 has an amplifying effect over time from this small increase in temp and then they rely on flawed global warming models which are grossly positive lookback biased that are programmed to show an amplifying effect from a small amount of CO2, go figure.

This is their theory, what the models are built to do and there only proof of man made global warming rests in these models. This is why these emails are so telling and disturbing to the believers as these models are failing to predict from one yr to the next much less 100s of years down the line. I'm sorry, it's been warmer, a lot warmer, before on this planet, long before we ever took our first shit. These scientist's own ice core samples have proven that. Look up Pacific Decadal Oscillation, it explains better than I can the natural cycle of cooling and warming over hundreds of years.
Global warming (man made) is just a way to exact power over the masses by taxing individuals and industry over a gas we naturally produce, and plants consume. That's the real *attack* on freedom.
