There is a difference whether he is playing on the Clippers or Lakers. Smush only dropped 11 points per game while Steve had Marion, who dropped around 20 points per game, Barbosa, Boris Diaw, and Raja Bell. I hear what your saying but the difference between the 2 teams is trust and ability. The reason why phoenix fell down 3-1 was cause those guys you just named couldnt score the ball but the didnt stop steve from still getting them those same shots. No one on the suns team had ever experienced success before steve nash. Diaw in atlanta and now charlotte,thomas jumped all around and barbosa very young,bell a 3pt shooter defender is all he was.Steve made them better and they had chemistry, kobe could not do the same.

Manu here cuts to the basket and finds open holes when kobe is supposed to be guarding him and hustling back on defense. Putting the ball in the basket is only 1 aspect of the game. Kobes good at 1 thing and average at everything else. Also if you add pau that laker team wins some rings so they had the players there.
