I recently went out on an indie buying spree, and I bought several great games, like Trine, Delve deeper, Aquaria, The Path & Machinarium. And this one, of course. And I have to say that this one was one of the real (and rather unexpected) highlights, Its both relaxing and entertaining. A big thanks for this lovely game! I'm looking forward to any future games that you make.
@Mariofan7 I've started XNA too, rather then learning directX, C++ and some serious stuff. C# (especially XNA) is pretty simple and you can create great small games without exploring the depths of shaders, graph theories and heavy algorithmics )) So, you for small games and for beginners C# is ideal. ( but learn first basic C/C++ ))) )
@micmalpdf Thanks! It is using DirectX. Currently there are no plans for a steam release, as Valve said they didn't think it was a good fit for the platform.
@su0malainen1 Why so dependant on Steam? Can always add non-steam games to your list.
Also Steam takes huge cuts from developers, if they sell it for $5 I'm sure the devs end up with $2, and they will lose their homes ;/ Do you want to support Steam still?
At first I was unsure about this game but after seeing the gameplay video I realize this game is quite awesome. Will be watching it for sure, much luck to you!
wow this looks like a stoney fucking game

Is C# a good programming language to create videogames? Why?
I ask you these questions because It's the second time that I've heard of someone creating a game with C#

What engine / language did you make this in? Very interesting game idea!
dhedarkhcustard 9 months ago
Thanks! I made it in C# (XNA Framework). I didn't use a pre-existing engine.

i never played it, seems a bit confusing or "easy to get lost", but quite interesting. I am going to give it a try.

I think it's a brilliant concept. The music and sound effects are a total win :)
