@ShinyBlissey101 And i'll also never forget the great things about E-102. Deep down inside you kinda wish you could be gamma, just to not explode like he did in the end. This is very sad cuz he gave up his life. The 1 thing you can only have 1 time in your life. Gamma actually gave it to the bird inside of him. Plus, he didnt even KNOW that the bird was inside of him. Gamma was very special. Gamma was the only robot in the world who had feelings. That even makes it VERY special. Some people say that this game sucks, but you know wut? F**k you!! Gamma, I'll Never Forget You ;(

@ShinyBlissey101 well if you think real hard and what gamma said to beta when fighting and before beta went boom he shot gamma but he shot him cuz he figured out 'bout the bird and gammas bird and why gamma was trying to free him so then he shot him so gamma (the bird) would be free and they could go back together

This game is why I hate Amy. SHE BROUGHT THE GOD DAMN BIRD INTO THE GAME!!!!! SHE TRICKED GAMMA . I was pissed. If he had never met her or the bird, he wouldn't have killed himself, or the rest of the E series. In Sonic 06(worst) I trick her into killing her self everytime for payback

@sonic6451 This game had such a good storyline and you know it. There were no imperfections at all. This game was just down right perfect in every way possible. Even the voice acting was rad!

I'm almost certain that if Amy had done what we did and put Gamma on the character development trail he was on, we'd have a less likable character. Heck, we might have just had a lesser Omega.

Sucks that he died, but his path to his death is what made us love him. And taking Amy out could ruin that path.

@darthbinks99 I played Sonic 1 on the Sega Smash Pack when I was younger. Not that special. On the other hand, Sonic Adventure 1-2, Black Knight, Unleashed and Heroes (in gameplay and some music tracks) were all great and Rings and Shadow were good. Good stories (with the exception of most of Heroes. The final stage of Shadow was good, but the canonicity of the route to get there is ambiguous), great-to-good gameplay between the games and new innovations in each of them.

just think of it this way. if gamma didn't die he would have been in the newer crap games sega makes. so his dieing prevented him from being destroyed by sega's crap. he's also so well liked by sonic-fans because of his death. without dieing he would just be another face, not a hero.

You're half right. You only hate the new characters because it's easier for your generation to find what to hate. True Sonic haters hate ALL 3D games of his, including NOTHING special being about Gamma.

I happen to love just about every Sonic game and what makes each character special is how well it's used WITHIN it's own context. Many of the newer characters are great (Jet) and many suck (Silver.)

But as a true fan, I remind you, of all those 'true gamers' who:

Generally I'm saying that for those who think there's something 'wrong with us' who love or hate any one particular part of Sonic's history, just makes you sound like any other dumb biased Sonic hater. Even if there's reason for it. Love your part more without hating or you are silly for thinking that "your cool robot is cooler than my cool robot."

YEAH Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 are better than any 3D Sonic thus far. But I still loved playing Knux Chaotix (32x) and Sonic Rivals (PSP)

The newer Sonic games aren't as good, but have lots to love and things that capture A WHOLE NEW GENERATION. Too bad they don't do as good of a JOB as our generation did. AND BY THE WAY Gamma was depreciated by the sequels because OMEGA is nothing but GAMMA but CRAPPIER and in a CRAPPIER SEQUEL. So you're STILL WRONG. For all you know it's the same FLICKY INSIDE HIM TOO so it could LITERALLY be the same creature and similar parts. Did you consider any of this?

I'm tired of Genesis fans hating SEGA 32x, I'm sick of Adventure Fans saying ALL OTHER 3D Sonic games, AND I'M TIRED OF PEOPLE HATING SONIC ALTOGETHER. Go argue over your favorite Harry Potter book!!!

@Gamez1985 actually, Gamma and Omega are not the same. Gamma was powered by a female flicky. Omega is not powered by an animal, Eggman stopped using animals in sonic heroes. Gamma fought out of love for her family. Omega fights out of jealousy.

The valid point is that some say 3d Sonic is good some say it's bad. Really to a lot Sonic died with the Adventure game's creature and to some he died after the Dreamcast died. So yeah don't rant on one person when you have an entire community of gamers that have always waited for the true Sonic Adventure 2 Sequel.
