i'm still having goosebumbps whenever i watch the video...it's like watching the last moments of a dying person that so many people(young and old) loved very much 'coz he had touched their lives, provided them soundtracks for 23 years, made them happy, etc...it's like the people gathered there are showing their sincerest gratitude by staying with him until his last breath at 12am even though most of them need to get up early the following day coz they have work or school...
remember, this happened last Sunday so the people who were actually there came straight from their homes...so their intention to get there was pure and out of love...mixed emotions? yes...we were sad coz we knew that our buddy(NU) was about to die at 12am that night but at the same time happy 'coz while 12am was approaching we reminisced the days, years or decades that we spent with him through ups and downs...
life will never be the same again without NU...a friend of mine said this..."the station did sign off at 12am last sunday...or monday technically dude...but not in our hearts..." i agree coz NU was, is and will always be in my blood...so long buddy(NU) i know you'll be resurrected again one day...:

i'm still having goosebumbps whenever i watch the video...it's like watching the last moments of a dying person that so many people(young and old) loved very much 'coz he had touched their lives, provided them soundtracks for 23 years, made them happy, etc...it's like the people gathered there are showing their sincerest gratitude by staying with him until his last breath at 12am even though most of them need to get up early the following day coz they have work or school...

remember, this happened last Sunday so the people who were actually there came straight from their homes...so their intention to get there was pure and out of love...mixed emotions? yes...we were sad coz we knew that our buddy(NU) was about to die at 12am that night but at the same time happy 'coz while 12am was approaching we reminisced the days, years or decades that we spent with him through ups and downs...

thank you NU for providing the sound track of my life. without you, i wouldn't be listening to the best rock bands this generation and past gens have produced. i have some of my paintings hung in a few establishments here in manila, and your music has always perked me up to work on my art. yosi, kape, chocnut, at NU 107 ang kasama ko sa madaling araw para makatrabaho nang maayos. im so proud to have been part of this sad but heartfelt event. No posers whatsoever. lahat ng naandi2 nagmahal sa NU!

Just like WXB 102 during the 80's...I think there weren't much support from the Filipino people. People whose culture is focused on crappy noon time show and jukebox "baduy" music. This rotten culture should change! They should start understanding real music...music that has quality and value. Its not all about money!

all the shit foul words heard from the last days/hours on NU 107 DJ's and others, are dedicated to the new guy in malacanang palace, who declared a weak Executive Order "4 OPM Songs every Hour" to all radio stations in the country,... it is so sad that we lost one of the most important, the station that plays the best OPM's the most, ...
