There is a date for that talk Mr. Eustace gave! I did not pay attention to it,
January 1, 1954 Los Angeles California
and he said that the whole story was being shown with doctors present just "last week" on TV in Hollywood. So, that tells me it was probably a live show?
He read the magazine article "some years ago". I assume England.
I too have Glaucoma. I too used eye drops but later discontinued it and did not visit a doctor for past 4 years. Is there any surgery which will fix GLAUCOMA?
With the advancement in Stem cell research it might be possible to cure GLAUCOMA.
MORE HERE n England, at the age of 28 being able to see without his eyes. Doctors would put clay over his eyes and bind his head leaving room to breathe, he would ride a bicycle to the theatre like this. Asked how he could see without his eyes, he was not sure, he thought he might be seeing through the pores on his skin. His story was on TV in Hollywood.
Some of this authors writings are between WW1 and WW2. He is from England, so maybe the article was in one of their magazines?
Christian Science It's "Clear Correct Teaching" and complete writings
by Herbert W. Eustace, C.S.B. - page 978-980 Chapter "Consecration". relates part of a magazine article, He heard of being able to see without eyes, ran away from home, a Professor 10 or 12 years of constant work if he could concentrate uninterruptedly for 3 minutes on one thing. told to take a certain image that he loved dearly and practice concentrating on it every minute he could get. He used his brothers image SEE MORE
I think this trick has a lot to do with hearing. Notice that they're using a chalkboard and Kuda is standing right next to them. I think iyt's possible to tell letters by specific chalk movements.
This is great! I saw this on TV as a child, and I remembered the performance and the name Kuda Bux all these years. I just searched for Kuda Bux on YouTube, and here it is. Wonderful.
I can't believe that I have finally found some footage of my Grandfather, and his amazing abilities. I have a video at home and now glad I have found more archives. Is there anyone that has anymore information on him?
The last comment here is interesting - ludicrous, but intersting. As one who has been investigating supposed ESP and psychic manifestation for six decades, I'm as fascinated in the false debunkers as I am in claimed psychics. The way people believe what they want to believe is just as amazing as supposed psychic powers - and maybe a factor therein.
This guy is serious kuda bux look him up. I know a man who first met him in the 50's in new york he gave a free demonstration, he covered his eyes with absolutely everything, then told anyone in the audience to come with a book and pick out any page and any paragraph and he will read it!
They say that developing supernatural abilities isn't as hard as it sounds because of the fact that we actually have them when we are born and they are completely natural but over time we kind of suppress those abilities untill they seem as they are supernatural...I would like if someone would discuss this point with me...
They just aired an episode of "I've Got A Secret" on GSN in which he did the same trick, however the wrapping on that episode covered his nose and most of his mouth - there would not have been the possibility if squinting that I could see.
I wanna believe, really do, but I can't help but feel it's just another trick. First off, it doesn't logically make sense to see without the eyes, because that would mean one could see things behind him. While they're putting the stuff on his face, he seems to lift up the whole thing at 2:20 and 2:40. You can clearly see there is a hole (supposedly for breathing?)but I'm guessing the hole is exposed to his eyesight.
No his wife was Italian and how would you know. This is me on a different account by the way. If he's not my grandfather then how come my dad has got his passport and death certificate. I haven't been misinformed. His wife was 86 when she died. She moved over to Spain with us. She was very ill and had to be put in a home. Then she died in her sleep.
His wife was indian!!! i know a journalist who went to one of his perfomances in the 50's in new york, he met him and his wife, who was 100% indian. Even spoke in gujarati!
She was INDIAN!!! go to a website called amazing abilities and click under kuda bux. It's about a journalist who bet bux in the 50's and he spoke to his wife and she was INDIAN!
MY GOD! Stop acting like your his grandson. This man was a religous hindu and he would never have married an italian, especially in the 30's era when the world was VERY RACIST. Trust me his wife was 100% indian, i even personally know a journalist who met him and his wife in the 80's, I think you need to have a second look at your family tree
hi my dear bros n sis.1st of all he is not a hindu.he was a muslim born in india.if he was born in india it does not mean he was a hindu.nd infact he married an english woman.
Excellent display of the spiritual third eye phenomenom. Though these types of power arent meant to be used to make money, at least it does spur the imagination of generations that have been brought up with science and machines that cannot grasp what Kuda Bux can.
@Kartikay108 well with new science in this age (superstring theory/ M theory) i say its absolutely possible to grasp. we are learning how atoms act differently when observed, and go back to working weird when we dont observe. what this shows is that our minds, which are just connections with everything in this universe, are all linked. we have the power to manifest our destiny or shape this world to what we want it to be. in other words, anything is possible.
In another article he is quoted as saying that all it requires is a focus of attention. He accomplished this by meditating and staring at the gap between a candle and its flame about 2 hours a day for about twenty years. Have fun with your candle :P
I have one of Kuda Bux's appearances on 'Captain Kangaroo', in which he performs this feat.

ONE MORE NOTE on wikipedia it says he later got GLAUCOMA is an inherited eye disease IF NOT TREATED you go blind.
IF YOU ARE RELATED PLEASE HAVE YOUR EYES CHECKED FOR GLAUCOMA. I have it, they give me eye drops for it, it is bad drainage of the eye fluids I think.

Was he able to see after he got GLAUCOMA?
