You can still buy fully automatic weapons up to heavy duty machine guns as long as you have proper federal and state licensing/registration so collectors and admirers of heavy firepower can still collect, and enjoy them.

Like i said originally as long as they don't prohibitively price, or regulate who can be a licensed dealer then the law as stated is only going to limit criminals abilities. It doesn't stop their ability, but limiting it can at least reduce the speed at which more guns enter the black market.

IF it can be found that a person is a straw buyer and their gun is used in the commission of a crime, that person faces the same penalty of the person who commits the crime. Simple

A limit on gun purchases helps stop guns from getting to the wrong people though. The newspaper reported that one guy in Bucks County bought 50 guns from different shops in and sold them to drug pushers and gang members. It's too easy to buy and sell guns in PA.

I agree with Rendell about reporting sold, lost and stolen guns. I disagree with restrictions on the number of units you can buy during a given period. Doesn't matter how many guns you own as long as you are held responsible for them.

But when you look further into that legislation, it's a GOOD thing that it was recently shot down. It said that if you fail to report a gun stolen and it is used in a crime, YOU are fined and/or go to jail. Just a few months ago one of my friends had a gun stolen at the range, and he didn't notice until he opened his gun case a few weeks later to clean his guns. If someone would have used that gun in a crime, he'd be fucked. That's not right, and I'm glad that bullshit law didn't pass.

OK, I went to the "Moms against Guns" website. Read and reasearched through the information available. Looked into the information available on the people they have allied themselves with and the long range goals of them all. My conclusion is that this group is just another supporter of "gun grab" politics.
